Why are you not meeting Nordstrom's price on this item, and selling the Greer by Kork-Ease for this cost, regular price? I'd prefer to order from you but you're overcharging.

LOVE this platform!! If this is the style you're looking for, THIS is the shoe. OMG, the overall construction is so well done that I literally want to stare at it all day long. The leather wrapping around from side-to-side is seriously gorgeous. These types of platforms can sometimes come off as clunky and too casual with little style, but this is such sophistication and beauty that I HAD to write a review. I love this shoe so much that I'm ordering another pair just to have because I know this is the ONE that I will wear forever! The shoe isn't heavy (which is something I'm always afraid of when ordering a shoe like this) and it has a long enough toe bed that even when the leather stretches (like it will) that my toes will NEVER come close to the edge. I love the contrast in color too, the brown foot pad is the perfect brown. My shoe size is a medium width 7 and the fit is just right. And not to gush, but the way the back of the heel is angled, makes walking just a little easier, makes the shoe look less Frankenstein, and keeps the health of the sole in tact. Oh...the one thing I was expecting because of the brand (Kork-ease)...I guess I was expecting a cushy corky kind of thing...this is not that. You don't see any cork. I don't even know if it is cork. The shoe is very firm with minimal padding. There is absolute zero give or stretch, so if you're looking for a shoe to tour the streets of old town, this may not be it. For me, I'd wear this pretty much anywhere (they were purchased for a week in Las Vegas and were perfect for the long walk to the pool, all around the casino, out to dinner, etc. for several hours (with lots of sitting, standing, walking, sitting, standing, walking) and were quite comfy. However, this is not a shoe that I chose to wear when I knew there was going to be ONLY walking and walking and walking. I personally like much more cushion and arch support. Overall, if you're on the fence, GET THEM!! Free shipping both ways!!

This is my 2nd paid. Wore the first ones out. Love these shoes. Comfortable to wear all day. Accommodate my wide feet. Get lots of compliments on them.

These shoes have a sculptural beauty. I'm tempted to set them out somewhere where I can just look at them. Additionally they're wonderful to wear.

I bought these for a wedding and for an all purpose dressier summer shoe. When other guests were complaining about their shoes hurting later in the evening, I was feeling smug that my shoes were still very comfortable. Got some compliments, too. FYI, I originally ordered a 9, as I am an 8 1/2. Ended up going with an 8.

Hello everyone' I've already purchased my second pair. The fit, the leather material, the mechanics of this simply designed shoe is just awsome!! Really Really Nice!! Walking in them is special too!! I'll probably get a third pair in another color soon.

Loved the simple and elegant design of theses shoes. My feet are wide but I decided to order by regular size 7 original because of some reviews sighting that the shoes ran wide. I could barely get my feet into the 7. They may have eventually stretched but I'm convinced that it would have been a painful wait. Decided to return for the next size up, size 8 and glad that I did. It fits much better and now accommodates my wide feet. Considering going back for the burgundy now that I know how they fit. I know these shoes will be an easy go-to in my shoe closet. Definitely recommend this.

I love these shoes. I have wide feet & these shoes felt a little snug at the toes. But because of the softness of the leather, i know they'll loosen up a tad & fit perfectly. There is a bit of arch support, which i need. The style lends itself to providing arch support anyway. I love the leather lining too. Gosh these are great!

I have owned these shoes for years and LOVE them. They are very comfortable and have held up well! Im a size 9 with medium to wide feet and found that they run true to size.

I am so in love with these shoes! I bought them for my daughter's summer outdoor wedding. The upper part that goes across the top of the foot is quite snug (and I have skinny feet)...fortunately a little time in my shoe stretchers took care of that so that my feet didn't have to do the work. My outfit for the wedding is more in the silver family so I was concerned that the "soft gold metallic" might be too gold but it's subtle enough that it goes nicely with my outfit.

Love these. Comfortable right out of the box. I wear them to the pool as well as out to dinner with a casual dress. I wear a 6.5 and the 6 fit perfectly.

Absolutely love these. The top band that goes over the foot was a little tight at first, but all it took was a day of wearing them and they stretched out. They're sooooo comfortable and they don't slide or make that "flip flop" noise when wearing. I usually wear a 10.5, but the 10 fit perfect. The 11 was too large. I may be order that black too - that's how much I love these!

These sandals are the most beautiful shoes I've ever owned—if only for a few days. I'm so disappointed they had to go back. I wanted to keep them and love them and own them in all the colors, but alas, that was not to be the case. The problem is with MY feet though, not any defect in the shoe. I have been wearing my Kork-Ease Ava's pretty regularly for five years now. Have had the heel bottoms and the elastic that attaches the buckle replaced at the cobbler during that time, but they are still in good condition. I'm short, and they give me the height I crave without tipping me over, and are so comfortable I could walk for hours in them. I expect excellent quality and style from Kork-Ease, and have never been disappointed. I ordered two pairs of the Greer sandal, one in black, one in brown. I am a between-size, and wasn't sure whether to go with a 7 or 8. (In this style, I'd suggest ordering down, not up.) The shoes arrived a day later, and were as beautiful as I had anticipated, but neither size worked fit right because I had forgotten the "cardinal rule" of my feet: I can't wear slip-on's or mules. Flip-flops or flats, maybe, sometimes, but if the shoe has any height or heel at all, I need to have a back strap to keep my two weirdly different-size heels in place. Complicating the "mis-fit" situation for me is that the Greers seemed to run just a little wide in either size. But just because the Greer's didn't work for my feet, don't let this stop you from ordering them. They are such gorgeous sandals, especially in black. (The brown ones are lighter than they appear online, but nothing a coat of quality leather wax wouldn't cure.) Honestly, if I could afford it, I would've kept the black ones to display on a shelf as sculpture. That's how pretty they are! Luckily, Kork-Ease has many styles to choose from, many of them with the heel strap I need. I will definitely be ordering from Kork-Ease again. I've been sold on this brand since I first wore them in high school, back in the 70's. That will give you an idea of my age, and validates that Kork-Ease comfort, quality and style is timeless through the decades.

Handsome, comfy, very walkable, platform shoe! This will help: the box says Size 8 / European Size 39. Eiro size 38 is an 8. So that 39 means it's really an 8 1/2. And it is a M yet a generous, not tight, M. So with that size 39 = 8 1/2 and a generous M that's why this show feels somewhat large . It doesn't run large its really a full half size large. I'm returning mine for a size 7 because I wear a size 8 and sometimes 7 1/2 in open toe sandals and hoping the 7 works 9that should really be a generous 7 1/2)!

I've been in love with the style of these shoes for months and finally decided to buy even tho pricey. The style is understated drama and very cool! The leather is lovely and I'd love being 2 inches taller than my actual five feet. But...they are painful to wear, no padding in the footbed, actually feels like standing on a wooden sole. As far as sizing goes, I wear a 7 1/2-8 and first tried these in the 8 - it fit like a 9. Size 7 fit perfectly! Have to send them back, so sad.

Just exchanged for one size smaller and now they fit perfectly! My foot tends to be on the wide side and these make my feet look narrower. A minimalist yet elegant design which will be timeless. Feel great right out of the box. Love!

Kork-Ease makes a beautiful shoe! Worth the price. Love these slides. They feel amazing right out of the box. I did need to exchange for one size smaller which then fit perfectly. Will enjoy waring these with dresses, joggers or even shorts.

I typically wear a size 9 or the equivalent in most shoes such as Pikolinos, Earth, Born, Dansko, Clark’s, UGG & softwalks...etc. I ordered these in size 9 forgetting that a year ago I purchased the Kork Ease Ava in a size 10. When I received these, I could have worn the size 9 however the toe would have cut in maybe until they stretched a little. I decided to order the size 10 just to check the fit and they fit really well...not too snug and certainly not too big. So I sent the size 9 back and kept the size 10. I guess for me, a size 9.5 in Kork Ease would be perfect but sadly Kork Ease doesn’t offer half sizes. The shape of this shoe is too adorable and looks really pretty on. The leather is much more substantial than I originally thought it might from seeing them online. I ordered the brown but I’m thinking I might have to get these in the gold metallic as well. I love these shoes...a great way to add a little height comfortably.

These shoes are crazy comfy and for that reason alone I wanted to keep them. The fit was perfect but I was looking for a sleeker style so back they went.

These shoes are Beautiful and do look like Art;however they are too dressy for my wardrove and the seam in the middle really hurt my middle toe. If I had a wedding or fancy parties to attend these woul be perfect. Also the left shoe felt bigger than the right one. Iwa very tempted to keep these shoes but they didn't feel comfortable enough for vacation and casual clothing.
