The jacket is very soft and very warm and will suffice unless it is far below freezing or there is significant wind. I found that the construction is high quality but that sweat had a hard time evaporating. Overall a very good product though.

This product is great. Very comfortable and keeps you warm. Also it's very stylish for casual wear and winter wear.

I purchased this jacket for my son to replace the one that originally came with his Northface Triclimate Coat. I contacted NF to find out what jacket is compatible with the shell. I was a little stressed because my son was away at campus and I did not like the thought of him being cole. Northface customer service dept explained that Khumbu 2 would be an excellent option for the replacement liner of my son's existing coat. I shopped on a few different sites and by far Zappos was the best price!!! Also, I was shocked at how fast the shipment came!! (I did not pay for any extra shipping). This jacket came as expected. My son is thrilled and said the jacket was better than the one that originally came with his Coat. The size and color was exactly as described- great fit- great product and THANK YOU ZAPPOS for helping this mom get her son warm for the weather :)

The look of this garment is wonderful. It has some shape around waist but is not tight. It has a terrific soft feel. The sleeves have a cute little tab with button. I gave this as a gift and the response was completely positive. I would certainly buy this item again!

Nice coat

I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday, & he absolutely loved it. It's comfortable, something he could wear whether is casual or dressy occasion. He loves it & so do I!

I love the way this fits and great quality

I like backpacking and need a warm jacket that doesn't overstuff my pack. I own a 3 in 1 jack which came with a thermoball inside. I greatly prefer the fleece to the thermoball (when I sweat during a hike, the thermoball material sometimes feels 'sticky')

The jacket is nice, haven't gotten to put it to use yet. The service from zappos was phenomenal, though. I ordered a size too big, and they sent one of the correct size in one day. And the customer service rep I spoke with on the phone was so laid back and casual in conversation while simultaneously coming off as completely professional. Such a nice guy, I actually left a review for him as well. I really do appreciate good customer service and Zappos is the best example of that. Thank you.

I have been bying North Face products for years. I am very satisfied in their quality of material. You can wash it over and over and it still looks the same.

This product was great and came just in time for my trip to Colorado.

I actually used this to go under my resolve jacket and it works wonders. This way you get the warmth & coziness along with rain and wind repellent

I bought this jacket for my son who is 6' 2" and is very thin. He loves the jacket and loves that it can be zipped into the Northface shells. I love that the web site gives you a sizing questionnaire to help you choose a size. I always have problems getting things that are long enough in the sleeves and torso for him. This is my comment not his, I would love to see this jacket tapered a little from under the arms to waist. It looks a little boxy to me.

This jacket is literally amazing! My mom ordered the high rise grey one as a surprise for me and I am in love with it! It is lined on the inside, and so it is very warm but EXTREMELY lightweight, so you won't be dying in this jacket! Great for colder days and early mornings as well. I like to layer in the winter so I would suggest a t-shirt, light windproof jacket underneath, and then this. May even need to skip the windproof because this jacket is SO WARM! Wear it casually, I got alot of compliments about it from school!

Exactly what I was looking for! What makes this jacket unique is the zipper, which allows you to zip it into an existing shell. I put mine inside my rain jacket for those cold blustery rainy days when extra warmth is needed!
