Overall, the shoes aren't too bad. They also aren't great. The shoes are made of quality leather and are quite stylish (much more so than indicated by the picture). My main problem has been the shoe's heel. It's inflexible (i.e., hard as a rock) and can be, at times, painful. If you're planning on spending a lot of time on your feet, find another shoe.

Purchased these shoes for my husband to wear to a wedding. They go great with his grey and navy blue suits. Great shoe at a reasonable price.

I believe the narrow feel is due to my left foot being slightly wider than my right, thought this is the only pair of dress shoes I’ve owned with this being noticeable. I think with a little wear they’ll be good, and in any event they’re comfortable and have a great look otherwise.

These shoes have a high-quality look. They look better in person than in the pictures. They almost have the feel of a formal Bostonian shoe, but their leather is softer and more comfortable (also, rubber not wooden sole). However, I had to return them due to the size. While their length felt perfect, they were extremely narrow.

Quality materials and good overall look. It does feel a bit bigger than I'm used to. I went down a half a size and the length now feels right but it's still a little bit loose.

Right shoe felt a little more narrow at first. But ultimately flexed to fit correctly. Just needed some time to break in.

Ordered son's ususal size of 11 wide--turned out to be way too large overall for length and width. Both appears and fits larger than marked. Seems to be a great shoe, just runs large. Hoping going down a size and possibly down to medium width will do the trick.

Fit great, comfortable, and true to size. My 2nd pair, have black and now brown. Color is great. Perfect for work.

You can’t go wrong with Johnston & Murphy shoes. I own several pair and love them all. I don’t wear thick socks with them usually a over the calf thin dress sock or a slightly thicker but still very thing crew sock depending on how casual the shoe and outfit.

I love Johnston & Murphy shoes they are my go to office shoe. These did not disappoint. I wouldn’t wear them with a suit for a meeting but they are great for everyday business casual dress.

Great fit and comfortable to walk in. I have other Johnston Murphy shoes which is why I felt good about the brand. Replaces a department store brand that wasn't as comfortable to wear all day.

Wear 9.5 dress shoe typically. ordered half size up. that fit well.

I am very satisfied with my selection from Johnston & Murphy. I did learn however from buying two different types of shoes that they are not all shoes are sized exactly the same. The first pair fit perfectly from the start. The other pair was a little on the tight side. I guess this is to be expected. Shoes made by different manufacturers are almost certainly going to be slightly different even if they have the same size designation. I’m happy with my selections.
