I have very high arches that need a lot of support so I generally can't wear flip flops, but an upcoming beach vacation inspired me to search again. I ordered several brands and these were by far the best. The arches are very high and firm, which is great for me. However, they're so high that the instructions state you should start by wearing these for a couple of hours/day and gradually build up to a full day. I didn't have to do that as these fit/feel like the arch support my orthotics provide, and I wore these for my week at the beach without pain. Exactly what I wanted. So I just ordered 2 more pairs (I now have black, pink & purple). In comparing the old pair with the new, the arch has compressed a bit on the pair I've been wearing, but the support remains good. I wear a 9 1/2 and like almost all flip flops, these don't come in half sizes. The 10 fit well, with maybe a half inch extending beyond my toes and my heel sitting precisely in the heel cup. They aren't particularly stylish but they will do. The straps are wide, comfortable, and casual. They don't rub between my toes. This is a functional, sturdy, colorful (if you get them in pink or purple) flip flop with FANTASTIC arch support.

I have plantar fasciitis and high arches and these flip-flops are the best that I have ever found! They have great arch support and are so comfortable. I need to order another pair in another color!

True to size. Really comfortable. Good support. I will buy another pair in black.

I tried these last summer and liked them so much I ordered two more pair. One purple the other white. They are comfortable on my feet as I need some arch support and did not want to spend a fortune. I think they are a good value.

I love this purchase. Comfortable, sized accurately, and the color's a pleasure every time I look down. I like the high arch and the cushiness.

These thong sandals are sooooo cute! Unfortunately I won't be keeping them. I have a wide foot. The foot bed of this shoe is perfect! Nothing hangs off. The problem is I also have a VERY high instep. I couldn't get my foot into the straps. Very disappointed.

Very good support for a flip flop and comfortable between the toes. Ran narrow enough for me as I wear 11 N. This only came in M so I was a little reluctant to order but stays on my foot as if was a N

These thong sandals provide excellent arch support and overall comfort from the moment I tried them on. I can get them wet and they clean up and dry quickly. They are cute and fit my foot perfectly. I bought white and black and love them.

I have back problems and need shoes with good support. Living in Fl I prefer wearing flip flops year round. These are the best moderately priced flip flops I've found. I have purchased others that cost $60 and up and feel these are close to equal to those. My only issue is the lack of tread on the soles. I've been in a few big box stores in these shoes and they are a little slippery on the cement floors. Honestly, that's the worst thing I can say about them, otherwise they are great!

I love these sandals! I have high arches and require moderate padding in the heels due to chronic plantar fasciitis. These flip flops are supportive and well padded! Buy them they are worth every penny.

I've never worn flip flops, so originally I was not aware that they need to be ordered 1-1.5 sizes larger than shoe size. That said, if ordering flip flops for the 1st time, order a size up for the correct fit. (Based on "ordering up", these were close to "true to size".) I have new carpeting and purchased these for "around the house" shoes - I can not walk barefoot due to high arch & supination issues. I have to say I love them - I never thought flip flops could provide the support and comfort my feet need! The arches are sturdy and comfortable and the toe straps are comfortable as well.

The arches, as mentioned before, are firm and high, and although I like arch support, these needed a few days to get used to. The shoe itself fits so precisely to my foot that it doesn't "slap" like other flip-flops. It wears more like a fitted sandal. I will have to see how they wear over time, but for now, they are able to keep up with my active, outdoors lifestyle, taking rocks and water well without looking bad yet. They have a fairly nonslip, nonmarking sole, which is great for the boat.

Because of my fallen arches and bunions, it's very difficult to find a flip flop that is healthy for me to wear. But these rare gems work very well for me. I use them mostly for the pool, but they've lasted two summers and still look great for next year. And what a great price point!

After wearing inexpensive, unsupportive flip flops for years and then suffering with plantar fasciitis, I started looking for supportive flip flops and am sure glad I discovered New Balance. I have almost no arches and really noticed the arch support the first time I put these on. I wasn't really sure about them but there was only a short break in period needed. Now they're almost the only flip flops I wear so I am ordering two more pair since they are so reasonably priced. I only wish they came in more colors. I had bought another supportive brand which I like a lot but they cost a lot more. I find the New Balance PureAlign thongs are very comfortable and they can get wet. It's definitely a win.

I feel like the New Balance peeps took a mold of foot, got to know me as a person, and then created this flip flop just for me. The second I put them on I was thrilled. It has always been impossible to find good flip flops with support for my narrow feet and high arches. I have bought some in the past for ridiculous prices and the support was still just barely ok. These are perfect, and at what I feel is a FAIR price. I wish I should shake the hands, nay, HUG, every person involved in making these. I should buy a second pair as back up...!

Great thongs. I bought black and pink. The black were a little tighter than the pink but they stretch out a little. I would but them again if I needed more.

Fantastic support and comfort! I just got these off of my porch and am so excited to write a review. The arch support is outstanding, better than expected. Great for my foot..and my knees! There are just cushy enough and the black is plain enough but cute as well. I wear an 8 and sometimes an 8 and a half and the 8 fits me perfectly with room for my piggies to spread out. Yet they are not clunky. My feet are on the narrow side of medium and the straps are ideal and keep the flip from flopping around, which hurts your feet and isn't safe. They do give a bit if tight. Warning - the arch is very pronounced and may be uncomfortable if you aren't used to wearing shoes with arches. But these are exactly what I needed and I am going to try and wear them to the office as well. Most I ever spent on flip flops but totally worth it.

I love these shoes! I went looking for a replacement for my 5+ year old Orthaheel flip flops that I loved. I found these New Balance and couldn't be happier. These offer similar arch support, but are actually more comfortable than the Orthaheels. They have a nice cushion on the foot and make you have a little bounce to your step. I wear flip flops pretty much everyday and have to say that these are the best I've had thus far. Great support at a great price.

I have wide flat feet, so I was a little nervous about these, however, they are like waking on a cloud all day. My feet have never felt better or more supported by a sandal! I will be buying more pairs of these.

I bought and/or tried on about 20 pairs of flip flops this summer. I was looking for the perfect pair. This shoe is definitely it!! It has support and comfort. I think I'm going to order a second pair in case I can't find them next summer!!!

I thought I would have to give up on flip flops forever because I wear custom orthotics to prevent severe overpronation. These are comfortable and affordable. The arch support is quite pronounced which was exactly what I wanted. I agree with other reviewers who say that the logo being in relief right under my heels is annoying and unnecessary and I hope this will be fixed in future iterations of this shoe.

I have tried a lot of flip flop type sandals recently and these are the perfect fit for me. They have a great arch support, the straps are just right...not too loose or too tight. I usually wear a 9 1/2 and ordered a 10, which fit my foot perfectly. These seem the perfect weight and thickness. Some of the flip flops feel heavy and don't move well with your foot. I only wish they made this same shoe in a leather, dressier looking flip flop. I tried others of NB and they were all too loose.

I was looking for an alternative to the Vionic flip-flop that is expensive and heavy and the sizing is unisex which means not a good fit unless you get a very expensive pair of blingy women's flip-flops. I have had three pairs in the past four years and they have only lasted two summers - they come apart where the sole meets the footbed. For the price you would think they would be made better. These New Balance fit the bill-light, the price is right and they fit and feel marvelous. If they only last two seasons I certainly got my money's worth out of them. They do not mind getting wet either. I highly recommend them if you need arch support. Thank you, Zappos, for excellent customer service - I only shop at Zappos for my shoes!

I like the style but the arch support is very high and caused me pain as soon as I put them on so I had to return them.
