Fit and size were perfect. I have been wearing these shoes for over a year and they just get better with age, comfort and look completely maintained. Highly recommend.

Stylish and lightweight. Unfortunately too narrow for my bunions.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes/sneakers I have ever owned. I have 3 pair in different colors that I rotate and have 2 pair boxed away in my closet for when I wear the others out. They are stylish enough to sub for shoes at the office. The offer great support and fit true to size. They are very durable, my first pair were purchased as walking shoes for a trip to Italy. They were perfect. I don't recommend them in winter weather, they don't do too well in snow. Zappos - tell Merrell to make more of these so you can replenish. Also - tell them to bring back the Freewheel Lace Bolt, please.

These are so comfortable, I bought a pair last year and then bought another this year.

Really comfortable, but the toe is a bit wide. I already wore them in the rain and they look no worse for the wear. At least for the first week or so these are great.

This shoe feels soooooo good. Wear them everywhere! The soles are a lighter grey color vs white...which tones down the contrast a bot and makes it looks less like a sports shoe.

Very comfortable walking shoe. I have worn for 10-12 hrs at a time without any foot pain. Moderate arch support. Fairly resistant to spills and such.

Despite being a common shoe size - men's 10.5, D width, I am often disappointed with shoes that run just a little too small in one dimension or the other. However, the Merrell Freewheel is an instant favorite. I was a unsure what to expect with an "M" width, but they fit wonderfully. The soft suede required no break-in while being sturdy in all the right places. I prefer a flatter sole, not a large amount of arch support, and these shoes are ideal. They are priced a little higher than my usual range, but they are worth every cent!

I bought these in the Goose color for my 29 year old son for Christmas. He's a shoe hound and very picky about appearance. He put these on as soon as they were opened and has worn them frequently since. Glad to see that he liked them! He said they're true to size (10) and felt good.

These look good and work well! I feel it if my shoes don't have at least moderate arch support, and we walked over 8 miles while at Disney with absolutely no problems. Also spent the day trekking around Universal in torrential downpours and they actually kept my feet reasonably dry. Amazing given that we walked around in and out of the rain and puddles for over six hours. I can't recommend them more highly!

I ordered these on a bit of a whim but immediately loved them. The leather is high quality and the shoe is beyond comfortable which is expected from Merrell. This is the perfect shoe for those who are on their feet all day and need something that feels like an athletic shoe.

I own several pairs of Merrell shoes as they are now one of my go to brands. This shoe is really sharp with casual pants for work or out on the town. I put insoles in all my shoes for a bit more comfort and with this shoe they really help. The 4 stars for comfort is due to a flat insole with little arch support. This doesn't bother me too much, but thought I would mention. I ordered the goose and charcoal and they are so similar I sent the charcoal back.

Super supple leather. Nice looking and age well. The longer you wear them the softer the leather becomes. They require no maintenance tomorrow.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He wanted a casual shoe that was comfortable but looked nicer then sneakers. He was very unsure of them at first but has worn them several times and really likes them with shorts and jeans! He says they are very comfortable and seem to be very well made. He wears a 12 and I bought a 12 and they fit perfect.

I was looking for a "hip" yet comfortable show that would work with both jeans and khakis. This shoe works perfectly. Looks great, fits great, very comfortable. I bought the gray - excellent choice.

Very comfortable, good-looking casual shoe. Splits the difference between shoe and sneaker. I may even buy another color.

After two weeks of bike commuting and workday wear, I'm very pleased with my Freewheels. They have a nice wide toe, and run true to size. Instantly comfortable, they required no breaking-in. Pedaling efficiency is noticeably improved over my old standby Sambas. Style, too: I've had several compliments on their looks. I wouldn't hike in them, but the stiff midsole doesn't detract from comfort in the office or on a short city walk. Though by no means waterproof, the pigskin shrugs off light rain well enough. They're nice and light, but by no means flimsy. They're a bit warmer than sneakers, cooler than my dress shoes. There's no dedicated securement for the contrasting laces, but it's enough to tuck them in to keep them out of the chain. The center rubber section of the sole is showing some wear from the pins on my platform pedals. Long-term durability remains to be seen, but I like them enough to consider adding a pair of the chukkas. My compliments to Merrell on this thoughtfully-designed, well-constructed bike commuting shoe.

Very nice looking and comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5 and I had to go down to a 9 for these.

Awesome show, fit better than expected. I have the "high-top" style as well. I have a wide foot and didn't have to go to a longer shoe to fil my size. Super comfortable

Really great shoes. Lightweight and comfortable. I have a narrowish foot so the fit is a little loose, which is what I was looking for. It's like a sneaker, but dresses up too. I would buy these again.

These shoes are a very nice upgrade from regular sneakers. Very good looking and comfortable and wearable with shorts or casual attire. I swear by Merrell shoes as they always fit correctly and are very comfortable and light weight. This is my second pair of the Freewheel Lace.

Nice comfortable shoe. It's sized similarly to other Merrell's which for me fit a little big so I had to go down a half size. The toe box is wide looking to me it would look better narrower but still it is a good looking shoe.
