I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 and ordered a 6.0. Putting them on the first time was difficult as they are very stiff but after a few wears the leather relaxed and now they fit really well. Otherwise, they did not need any breaking in and the shoe itself is very comfortable.

I love these boots. I have been very impressed with the look and comfort of the boots. I generally wear a women's US 10.5 or 11, but size 10 in these boots seems to fit well (with plenty of room for thick socks). The boots needed a few days to break in, as the top of the shaft rubbed my shins. I highly recommend wearing thick hiking socks (or, two thinner socks) for the first several times wearing the boots.

I went out on a limb and bought myself something nice for Christmas. My feet are 10-1/2 Wide, so I got the US 11. After adding an over-the-counter cushioned insole, the size is perfect for my feet. I squatted down on my toes to see where the boots would crease, then applied mink oil liberally. Within a few hours they had become the most comfortable footwear I own. I wear these to work every day and I am very pleased. They don't squeak, slide, or mark the floor. Walking is practically silent.

I wear a UK5 US7 womens in Docs. I left the fit true to sz, and width because the other selections did not match. To me its a (2976 run) little snug than 1460s that I normally wear. This is my second pair of 2976. I am keeping because I'm sure they will stretch with wear and the snugness did not create any discomfort. Beautiful color.

Love these boots fit great, you can't go wrong with docs.

I have own these boots for about 2 years now. The quality is fantastic! They keep my feet warm and dry in the winter and stylish in the summer. The red docs really stand out!

Super comfy and easy break in period, not as dressy as the Flora, but fun for casual wear and shows.

So glad they finally made this in leather with the classic yellow stitching.

I bought these to get through a vacation in Boston during winter. They kept my feet warm and dry and were very comfortable. My only "complaint" is that they are very heavy shoes, but the weight might be what makes them so wonderful in treacherous weather.

True to size. Tight at first but stretches and molds to foot pretty quickly. Super comfortable. Also nice that insole is easily replaceable- got a new one from the doc marten store recently and they feel brand new again. A little clunky, but thats the style. Great for rainy days too.

They look great, are breaking in well after only a couple of short wears, and go well with both jeans and business casual. Only downside I've noticed, so far, is that they get crazy hot inside. Taking off one star for comfort, but only because of the temperature! Also, by the way, I normally wear a size 13 US, and that is the size that fits best for me with these. I ordered both a 12 US and a 13 US, based on the comments that these run large. Must not run large once you get above a certain size, because the 12s were very restrictive and the 13s are just right.

Will definitely recommend every one buying a size down with this boot. I always wear us11 in everything and had to return the size uk10 which is a us11 but they where too big so I returned them with the awesome and fast service of Zappos and got a uk9-us10 and they fit nice, just have to break them in and it should be just fine.

At first I got the UK 9, knowing that it would be too big. Of course it was since Docs in general tend to run larger. I was just hoping it would fit since the UK 8 was out of stock for a good month. I am happy that I waited this long to get my size because I love these shoes. Quality is, of course, superb! Just have to remember to order a size down.

I'm British so have worn Dr.Martens for most of my adult life, the shoes for work in a suit, the work boots for work in the rough, and now these Chelsea boots for casual with jeans. Due to the quality and durability of the leather they are always stiff at first, they generally take around 3-5 hours of walking to break in, but in 30 minutes sessions to avoid rub/blisters, and these Chelsea boots are no exception. But once you've broken them in, wow they are so comfortable, the Air Wair sole is the choice of the British police force who still actually walk on the streets they protect, and it makes walking literally like walking on air. I walk for miles and miles once the shoe is broken in. Additionally, I could say a Dr.Marten is for life, only because I can't yet think of a pair I have thrown away for falling apart, yes I've upgraded style or had a change, but they never fail on you. I have US13E feet but these fit fine in the Medium, they are a spacious boot.

So this is the 2nd pair of Chelseas that I've owned- the 1st pair of Browns I owned gave me 6 years of loyal service and was my favorite, all-purpose boot. This Oxblood varient is filling its predecessors 'shoes' very well! Its comfortable, easy to get on/off, goes well with black/brown/khaki/jeans- in the week that I've had them I've been very pleased! I felt them to be true to size- the US9 fits my 8.5 ot 9 foot well.

These are really stiff at first but I’m breaking them in. They’re hard to get in too since the opening is narrow to fit around your ankle. But I like the look.

Just tight around the ankle when you put them on. Had to stretch them for my son to put on (he's impatient) but overall they are comfortable for him after he gets them on. They look good, and wear well in snow/slush.

I am a true 10.5 in Women’s. I ordered an 11 based on reviews, and because I wanted room for thicker socks. They were very large - perhaps a full size too large. I returned them and haven’t decided if I’ll try the 10. I love the style and of course the quality is perfect.

Very comfortable and stylish. Boots top front hits my shin when I walk, hopefully it looses up later.
