LOVE this bag! It was time to replace my winter bags with something new. This bag is perfect! While I just organized it after receiving it today so I can't speak to its longevity, I can tell you what I love so far: the exterior of the bag is gorgeous. Very dark teal black color, with silver flare on the front leather cutouts. It's just enough to add visual interest, but not too much to compete with a bright print fabric. The handles are long - but not too long, again....just right! It fits comfortably on my shoulder. Many bags like this have handles that are just too short for me and make the bag awkward to carry. This one is perfect. I also completely adore the scalloped edging on the top. Beautiful. And the liner is incredibly soft. I wasn't expecting that and I love love love it! I also like that the liner is a lighter brown making it easy to find everything I need in an easy and timely fashion. I originally ordered a purse organizer for this bag, but with the ample zip pouch on one side and two other pouches on the other, I think I can achieve my desired organization without an organizer. This is my first Patricia Nash purchase, but it won't be my last. (I already ordered the wallet too). It's clear that they put a lot of thought into the design of this bag. Is it expensive? In my opinion, yes. However, of the bags I've had in this price range over the years, this one stands above them all in initial quality assessment. I will love using this bag - hopefully for many years to come!

I own two Otavia bags, British Tan tooled and Dark Purple tooled. The Otavia is a gorgeous bag, from the leather to the tooling, and the braided strap. It looks like a work of art. At first I was afraid it would be too small, but all my daily essentials fit perfectly. I love that it has a crossbody strap, which is my favorite way to carry a bag. Thank you Patricia for another fabulous bag. I've got my eyes on the new Otavia in cognac with embroidery.

Love the size, and lining, and top handle. Strap nice length for crossbody, One one request, please attach the bottom of the inside center section to bottom so items don/t slip back and forth between sides,

This bag is very beautiful. I love the color and the gold peeking through the tooled openings. It is a bit heavy but I don't plan for it to be an everyday handbag.
