These arrived, but no box. I question the authenticity.

My foot is narrow and they looked to clunky for me. Have the Gizeh sandal and love them so ordered another pair in black patent.

Comments recommended buying narrow for a a regular woman's foot - it was too narrow for me. I think the regular width is truly more standard.

This is a follow up to my review on 13 July... I have since found out that there is a difference between women's width and unisex width! The style I ordered was a 40 regular in women's width, which is more narrow than the unisex regular, hence why the size I have been wearing for over 20 years did not fit my heel! What a shame, as I am even more limited now to colors due to only being able order unisex sizes / and unisex widths, so no colors choices (like green, silver or blue etc...) other than browns and blacks, which I was ready for a change from.

I have worn birks for years and LOVE them. I guess have never worn the soft bed before. These look like regular birks but do not give any of the support of normal birks. I also had to order a full size up to get. the correct size. if i had not already worn them i would be taking them back as the support is so minimal i cannot wear. these are NOT normal birkenstocks. i read the reviews and thought, how different can they be....but they are not the same.

Something was wrong with the strap on the left shoe, it stuck straight out and no amount of fidgeting with it would flatten it. The Shoe fit fine, but the overall look just wasn't there, and the weird strap was a real turn off, bc, real leather wouldn't do that

Just wanted to say I am have een wearing irkenstocks for YEARS. 38's everytime, these came and the 38's were too small?!?! love them, they were out of 39's so they were returned :(

Please be advised that I ordered the Narrow based on the note in the description that it would accommodate a regular width foot. BUT my little toe rubbed against the seam instead of fitting fully in the footbed. Technically it fit, but it wasn't comfortable, and I returned the shoes. I suggest not ordering the Narrow unless your foot is really narrow.

Do not like the leather-like finish. Prefer leather or nubuck on the straps. Footbed and cork are same quality. Straps are nice quality but just not leather looking or feeling.

Size 36 (5-5.5) is too big for my regular 5-5.5 feet. When I received the shoes, it shows '36 230' on it. Well, 230 is usually the size 6-6.5 if you check out the shoe size chart. They look great but sadly I have to send them back.

Didn't know it was plastic. so I am returning it for a leather pair

I've never found a Birkenstock sandal that fit my feet and this one was no exception. I thought I might like the soft footbed better than the standard footbed but this sandal was too long and wide for me.

Very uncomfortable. Unless you have perfect feet, skip these. My toes are all crooked and the pleather doesn't break in. I tried to wear them for years and finally gave up and donated them last week.

The shoes felt and looked as if they were two different sizes. The straps were not in the same place on the shoe and one show was bigger in the toe area. Both shoes were marked as the same size. I was disappointed that they needed to be returned.

I loved the shoes-- but after 1 month they started cracking on both shoes in the same spot. So disappointed!

So many rave reviews, but unfortunately these just were not wide enough for me. I do not have fat feet, just very wide. A 4E is what I usually get. My feet are just way too wide for Birkenstock’s, unfortunately. Hopefully one day they’ll have a real wide width shoe.

I really wanted to like these Birkenstock. I have owned Birkenstock in the past and was hoping the the new "soft footbed" would be comfortable. They were not comfortable at all. I am returning them.

Was so sad - they looked and fit great. Problem was they made noise every time I stepped. When I googled it the problem of noise that sounds like flatulence was a big problem with this soft soled shoe.

I were orthotics so thought this would be a good shoe for me. I was wrong. Too painful on my right foot. I’m not a good person to review this item... in all fairness.

I regret not paying the extra 30 dollars for the leather straps. I have had them less than a month and the they are already fraying.

I thought these were suede because that is what I searched for. They are made of cheap man-made material- not the typical Birkenstock quality. I am returning them and have to reorder. This problem could have been avoided, and I would have received the shoes on time if Zappos filter actually worked. Don’t show man-made material when people search for suede. This order experience definitely took Zappos down a notch in my mind.

I have to say that these are the ugliest Birkies I have ever had on my feet. I do like other Birkenstock sandals but these are old ladies sandals especially on small feet. Ugh.

What an ugly sandal. And the fit is way off. I will stick with another style of Birkenstock. It came in a bag instead of a box. Terrible way of shipping.

These are my first Birkenstocks after listening to everyone rave about them. I like the soft footbed and they are pretty comfortable after a few days of wearing them. However I'm very disappointed at the loud squeak that developed on Day 2. Seriously, I can only wear these around the house - very disappointing!

I tried various sizes and widths of this sandal. I couldn’t get a good fit with any pair. Returned all.
