I already have a pair of the Arizona style Birkenstocks that are unisex and in normal width (size 39). I went off other reviews and bought a size 40 (I usually wear size 9). Although it's a narrow width, it feels very comfortable and only slightly less room than the normal width style. I bought it in silver and it looks better in person than online. Very happy with my purchase.

Love these so much and have gotten a ton of compliments on these. Have worn Birks for years but the soft footbed is even more amazing, not sure I can go back now.

These are the best! When you buy your first pair of Birkenstocks it takes some getting used to. Breaking them in is a bit of a chore. With these softbeds this is no issue. Wear them once and it's like you've had them for years! This is my second pair with softbeds (different style) and so worth it! Besides...the Arizona style truly is flattering to a narrow foot and I have received compliments on these navy blue babies.

I was never a big fan of Birkenstocks until I tried them! I needed something comfortable with great arch support so I figured that I would give them a try. They are so comfortable and they look great! I love the silver color too and they go with everything. I am a true size 7 with average to narrow feet so I ordered the 38 narrow and they fit perfectly!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, so I can't comment on the difference of a soft foot bed. At first the shoes felt loose, so I tightened the adjustable straps. It was better, but I can tell I'll need to get used to the feel as I walk. They are comfortable, but not as much as my Alegria sandals. I usually wear a size 7 because of my wider feet so I ordered the size 38 Narrow. There's about a 1/2 inch gap from my toes to the tip of the shoe. But I guess you're supposed to have a little extra room with Berks. Overall, I'm very pleased with my new sandals and can't wait to wear them on my upcoming spring vacation. Oh, and I love the silver color. It will go with everything!

Love my Birks! Comfortable for all day wear right out of the box! Love the black on black. I wear a 7-7.5 shoe, the length of this shoe is closer to a 7.5 in my opinion. Happy Zappos offers these in a narrow width!

You rock Zappos!! These are awesome. Originally ordered for my niece beginning of November (from the Birkenstock website) wanted to be sure I got them on time and they were what my niece wanted). THEY shipped the WRONG color. Ordered from Zappos, they were the right ones, they were delivered quickly and Zappos has an awesome return/exchange policy. Thank you Zappos!!

I have a tender, narrow foot. This shoe is wonderful. It fits the narrow width and not tough on the bottoms of my feet. Looking forward to wearing them in Mexico.

Finally- birks that fit my daughter's narrow foot! My 6th grade daughter wanted Birkenstocks- they're all the rage in middle school! She has a narrow fit and finding a small size in 'narrow' had been difficult! She loves the look AND feel of these. They fit perfectly and I have one happy tween!

You can't go wrong with Birks. Super comfortable. Color is accurate - it's a little bit shinier/glossier than it looks in the photo, though.

Love these Birkenstocks. The silver color is perfect, not too shiny. I wear 8 1/2 and ordered 39 Narrow. The fit is perfect.

So comfortable and actually looks stylish too! I got it in a narrow because I think the regular width was a little too chunky. When I got it in narrow I also had to go up a size. But now I have great shoes that I will wear for a long time!

Great shoes, if you have problem feet, these are just wonderful and very comfortable and long wearing! I have about 6 pairs, but the softbed are the only ones to have!

So cute, but not narrow enough, even though I ordered the narrow. I'm a 7 - always - but needed the 39 in these. 38 was too short.

Normal 7 1/2 to 8 M so a 38narrow always fits me like a glove. People stop me & ask where did you get those fabulous shoes! = yeah.

These shoes are badass. I love them so much, they mold to your feet. Black leather...classic.

I have been pining for a pair of Birkenstock sandals for more than a year, and finally found my ideal pair on this site! I originally ordered a size 9, as my usual sizing is anywhere from 9/9.5. When I receive my Birk's the next day, they fit well when standing stationary but when walking my toes hit the front of the sandal. After doing a little more investigating, I found that the ideal fit of Birkenstock's should actually allow for extra space in the front and back of the shoe for your toes and heal to comfortably move while walking. I immediately submitting my return request and placed an additional order for a size 10. The size 10 Birkenstock sandal arrived the next day and I could be more in love! The sandal has proved to be adorable, fashionable and comfortable for periods of long walking. As I told my husband, this is an investment shoe that's not only adorable, but practical.

I rarely write shoe reviews but just had to say that I'm thrilled with my new Birks. I got the Arizona in silver with the soft footbed - so comfortable straight out of the box. Even more so than my Gizehs and Mayaris. Perfect for summer and the silver makes them reasonably stylish too.

I absolutely love these. I wear them every single day. I have somewhat wide feet, but ordered these in narrow per the reviews here-- and I have plenty of room. True to size, I wear a women's 7 and got a 38 which fit perfectly and are soooo comfy! They go with everything and even those of us who made fun of birks in high school are jumping on the bandwagon. Will be ordering white ones next!

Love my Birkenstock's! I definitely had to break them in but other than that they fit great. True to size.

These are the most comfortable sandals that I have ever owned. You will want to break them in for just a few hours a day for a few weeks, otherwise you will get blisters. After about 10 hours or so they soften and mold to your feet. My foot ranges in size from 8½ to 9½ and the 40 (size 9) fit me perfectly, even though other sites say they run big. I tried on the 39 too, and that left my toes a little squished/hanging off the edge. I wore these while backpacking in Southeast Asia and they were perfect.

I'm not a huge fan of the look of Birkenstocks, but I really needed something comfortable and supportive. These are actually pretty cute. And my knees are happy.

The shoe scratches easily so don't be surprised if you get a scratch on it rather soon. It isn't terrible, but the material and the color make for easy scratching. The color is PHENOMENAL. It looks even better in person than on the screen. I get compliments wherever I go!
