Although they claim that Narrow width works for Medium-widthed feet, it wasn't true for me. The outside of my foot rubbed against the place where the sole met the side, making the shoe not comfortable for extended walking. The straps were fine, but the footbed didn't accomodate. I am returning for a Regular width model.

I bought these shoes for my Dad and he absolutely loves them. He's worn them all summer & raves about them.

beautiful, but just a shade narrower than the classic Arizonas I wear all the time. Even if the bottom is temptingly soft, I need to return them. It was my mistake to order the narrower style.

I've always loved my Birkenstock Arizonas but when I broke my foot five years ago I had to wear only sneakers and have continued to do so in spite of 3 foot surgeries. Now that I'm healing with my newly formed foot, I went back to my Arizonas but discovered my foot couldn't tolerate the standard foot bed because of the toe bar. I tried the soft footbed and it made all the difference in the world. It was so comfortable, I bought the same shoe in brown suede. BTW, I've got a narrow size 7.5 foot and I bought the 38 narrows. Perfect fit!

This is my second pair of soft footbed Arizonans! They are my favorite! I would suggest going somewhere to try them on so you know your size, then order them on here.

Getting the soft footbed instead of regular footbed was a great decision! The shoes feel snug and comfortable. I can already see my feet shape forming in the material. However, beware - these shoes definitely need to be broken in before going on long walks. I made the mistake of walking all over SF in my new Arizonas and received two mild blisters. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase!

I ordered these sandals for my husband , he will not wear any brand but Birkenstock. The pair he had no tread left. Any Way I told him I could have a new pair for him in 24 hours ,he didn't believe me . Thank you Zappos I won the bet.

These sandles are very comfortable & required no break-in time.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I love how you can adjust both straps to get a perfect fit on each foot. The soles have great arch support. The silver color makes them less "crunchy" and more cool/young. They don't slide off my narrow feet.

Great classic shoe. I've worn these very regularly for a couple weeks now and they are a solid, comfortable sandal. Soft Footbed doesn't mean they are a magical cloud but they are quite comfortable and feel more supportive than most sandals. I have narrow feet and high arches. Normally wear a sz 9 in womens and sz 40 narrow fit me just right with the straps tightened. I have noticed some pressing on the top of my foot from the top strap but I think as the leather breaks in it will not be an issue (this tends to be a problem for me with my high arches).

I am crazy about blue sandals, they go with everything and work as a neutral for me. I own many Birks in different styles and colors-I have the same style in black suede but a regular width and have had to cut the straps and make new holes a few times. When I found these in narrow width for a great price I ordered them right away. They fit me so much better-I have learned not to order the regular width ever again. The soft soles are wonderful-I can walk forever! Thanks Zappos!

These are great. True to size and a nice Navy. My daughter loves them.

These are comfortable shoes. I typically wear a size 7 in sandals and found the 38N fits well. I kind of wish that I had purchased the leather but I was swayed by reviews that claimed the Birkoflor was more comfortable. The soft footbed is an improvement over the original.

These are great shoes. They were not the style that I wanted - but it was the one that worked with my feet. I wear a narrow/slim in 9½-10 depending on the style and maker. Since these had the buckles, I was able to make them narrow enough to hold my feet in place. This footbed is so very soft and comfortable. They are much better than the other style that I wanted.

I wear narrow shoes - usually a slim. My regular shoe size is a 9½ or 10 - depending on the style and maker. I had had to return these, but kept the 41 that I ordered.

I love my new Birkenstocks. They are so comfortable, easy to wear and look great too. I had a pair in the 80's. They lasted for years!! Zappos ships so fast too!

I love Birkenstocks! I have bad feet with bunions, heel spurs, Achilles tendonitis. I bought a pair of Birkenestocks last year and feel they saved my feet! Since my feet also have very tender skin and blister easily my first two pairs were Arizona soft footbeds in suede. This is my first pair of Birko-Flor and I love them! They are so comfortable - no break in time at all. I really want them in a plan white or patent white Birko Flor - I cannot seem to tolerate the break in time for the leather. If you are hesitating do not - get these - you will not be disappointed!

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable, & look so good with blue jeans. I wear a narrow, & the size is slightly wider, but with the adjustable straps, they fit great!

I wear this brand all summer. The softened has become essential. Love them!

Just got these delivered yesterday! These shoes are unbelievably comfortable! I already have a pair of brown suede Birkenstocks in the original footbed style and this Soft Footbed is a vast improvement over the comfort of the original! I got the silver, because they're ridiculously hilarious. I mean a silver Birkenstock. Come on! I am a 7.5 and sometimes an 8, depending on the shoe and fit, etc. I ordered these in a 38 Narrow and they are perfect.

The Arizona footbed is the only shoe that fits me perfectly and gives me the best support for my troubled back issues. The silver is muted perfectly, so that I can wear them all summer and feel a but dressed up.

Great walking sandal. Comfortable. Good support. Fit was as advertised. (I ordered in Narrow and couldn't tell the difference between N and M, but the sandal fits my narrow foot well.)

The color is true to the description. My feet are narrow and I think these Birkenstocks, even though for N to M widths, run wide. I am keeping this pair because although a bit wide, they are comfortable. My first pair with soft footbed was excellent.
