I absolutely love these shoes. I have several pair of Ecco shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I am ordering these shoes in another colour.

Love them! They are perfect sandal for going anywhere at anytime. I am replacing a similar Ecco sandal that I've worn out. These are ideal. I notice Eileen Fisher has a similar sandal for $195, which makes these a good buy at this price.

Ecco Damara Strap Sandal was almost the perfect sandal. It's so cushy and comfortable for long days on your feet...however, I am sad to send them back because the ankle strap hit's me right on the bone...ouch.

Wore these almost every single day during a two week trip in Europe. So comfortable! Literally feel like tennis shoes. Wore them in Los Angeles last week and received compliments from the people working in a really high dollar store. They look great on and feel even better! I have them in taupe but hope to get them in other colors!

These sandals are very comfortable and stylish. I saw someone wearing them when I was traveling and they looked so cute so I just had to order them when I got home.

This is one of those shoes that feels comfortable right out of the box. They are pretty, and at the same time conceal a visible tendency to pronation, and provide a soft footbed for walking. The do seem slightly large, but in a summer shoe, I would rather have a bit of space for those days when heat and humidity make my feet swell a bit.

Cute and very comfy sandals size 41 (10-10.5) fits fine for my usual size of 9.5 or 10. The ankle strap is a big baggy but can be adjusted. Love 'em!

These are the most comfortable sandals. I love the denim blue and the adjustable straps. I get tons of compliments. They look really great with cropped jeans.

I received these sandals in March; a bit too early to wear them in NJ. I loved them at first sight. Great color. Comfortable to Ecco standards. Trendy style. Can't wait for summer!

Soft, comfortable smart sandal that is described as gladiator, but is more classic than that. Toe strap is easily stretched with shoe stretcher if you wear an AFO like I do and need a bit more width. I bought blue and tan---both soft colors.

Great looking shoe, but my toe is sticking out the side and the straps wrap my ankle, which is uncomfortable.

I was really hoping to love these shoes, but they just didn't work for me and I returned them. After reading others' reviews, I ordered a full size range down from what I normally wear and they STILL were slightly large on me. I feel like if I walked a lot in them I'd probably end up with blisters from the upper x-straps rubbing just below my ankles. I will say if you manage to find a size that works for you, they are VERY lightweight and have good cushioning in the sole.

Great except runs one size too big

So cute but almost no arch support (which, in defense of the sandal, you can see from the photo). I wear a Size 9 and a 1/2 size down would have been a better fit, if I chose to keep them. Great for folks who don't need a lot of arch support.

I can never tell from reviews whether a shoe really does fit true to size, runs smaller or runs larger (there are times I size down per reviews and the shoe is too small and I should have ordered my normal size and other times I size up and the shoe is waaay too big and I should have ordered my normal size...) In most shoes, I am consistently a 6.5 so I ordered based on what I know is my size, according to the ECCO sizing chart and crossed my fingers. Unfortunately for me, this sandal in the 37 ran about half a size larger, fitting more like a 7, with the strap for the toe box being a little loose on my narrower foot. I may try to exchange for the next size down, if available. That said, the 37 of this sandal has a very soft, comfortable and supportive footbed. The leather straps are adjustable at the ankle, comfortable, soft and flexible. I was looking for a sandal that looked a little, but not overly, sporty rather than dressy and would be comfortable for walking at least a few miles or standing on my feet all day, working. I personally don't care for velcro closures on an adult sandal (I just prefer a regular buckle in lieu of velcro. but I think I can live with it.

Very nice cushy footbed, straps were soft and easy to adjust. I wear size 11 and this felt a little narrow - not TOO narrow, just "slim fitting" - my toes were just about at the end of the footbed too! I am normally accustomed to Birkenstock wide style though. Ultimately decided across-toes strap looked like it should be further back on my foot, and it made my toes look a little stubby where it was. Back they go despite the lovely cushiness.

I love the sandal but be careful where it hits the back of your heel as the trap is quite high and I ended with a bloody cut that is taking a long time to heel. I will pad my ankle the next time I am able to wear this pretty shoe.

Love the look of this shoe but I normally wear a 39 (8) and this shoe was way too large and wide.

Super comfy footbed and fits true to my Euro size. Criss-cross straps felt pinch-y at top of my foot/front of ankle, but I have super-sensitive feet so YMMV. Color is more like a gold patchy metallic rather than the silver it looks like here. Reluctantly returned.

I've not worn these out yet but they feel comfortable. The only area where they might bother me is where the strap hits my ankle. The leather is soft so I think it will be ok. I wear a 6.5 and purchased the 37.

Toe strap is very tight and shows off any possible bunion area.

I have other Ecco shoes in a size 6, after reading reviews I purchased the 5/ 5.5 and they were too big. I returned them and purchased the 4/4.5 and the fit correctly. Buy small!

I REALLY wanted to love this shoe; and I do. Ordered a 39 but had to return and just ordered a 38. The shoe felt great all over, except in the heal. My heals kept sliding off the inside edge, even though the straps were as tight as I could get for comfort. I'm hoping the 38 fits better with no heal slippage.

Very comfortable footbed; feels like an athletic shoe. But, because of the heel strap in the back, I have huge blisters. It comes up high over the Achilles' tendon and the stitching is rough there. I hope it wears down soon. They look better on than the picture shows ( I got the metallic). Nice with dresses or pants. But be prepared & protect your heels!

Alas, I have to return these shoes. The footbed is too narrow for my foot so my heel slips fo the side and off. I love the look and the flexible sole.
