These do run large, as other reviewers have said, which is why I took a chance on these. I wear an 8.5 wide, and the 8-9 size fits great! I can't go barefoot around the house, and I have tried several slippers that didn't fit, or weren't comfortable. These are very comfortable, give good protection and moderate support, they have a good sole so they're not slippery. They're a little warmer then I'd call "summerweight" but I don't expect everything to judge summer by Arizona's weather. If I lived somewhere with chilly mornings they'd be great for that. They'll work for winter here, too. LOL

Slippers could have been very comfortable. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8, medium width. After reading the reviews I ordered 6 1/2 - 7 1/2, the length seemed ok, but they are really wide, I actually walked out of them. Sending them back, won’t reorder in another size, I don’t think it would correct the problem.

I have owned a few pairs of these slippers, and am generally happy with them. They have good cushioning, and are not too warm. They do run large. I wear a 7 normally, and the size M (6 1/2-7 1/2) is about one size too large, but the Small is too small. I solve this by buying a shoe insert, like a Dr Scholl's cushioned insert, which helps a lot. I also occasionally wear light socks, and the fit is perfect.

You have to have giant feet for these to really fit. Super wide and I even tried shrinking them by washing them in warm water but still way to wide. Wouldn't recommend really

Comfy slippers and they don't make my feet perspire!

These are great comfortable slippers. They run large. I found this problem with other Acorn slippers also. If they are a scuff or lightweight (like this one) they are large. If they are a more fitted or bootlike slipper get your usual size. But Zappos' customer service is fantastic with the return process.

I’m glad that I read other reviews as this does run big. Order a full size smaller! I really don’t recommend these overall though. After having them for only 2 months the back of the slipper lost all support. I also got a hole in the top of one slipper although they ran big still. I really expected more of Acorn. They’re usually so good.

As other reviewers have said these slippers run a little large, so it is advisable to order a size down. This is my second pair of these slippers and I have found them to be comfortable and they are a decent price. I have washed my older slippers in the washing machine but with my new pair I believe that I will wash them by hand when needed as I feel this might make them hold up a little better. They do have a nice cushion inside the shoe.

Great house slipper for the spring and fall. No support for going outside at all, but just enough for around the house. The summer weight is great if your feet get too hot in heavier winter slippers. The style isn't much to write home about, but it's a slipper, not a fashion statement.

Very comfy - the sole is very cushioned, which is entertaining though I'm sure it will wear down eventually. I have tiny, fat feet & ordered the small- they are still big on me, but I prefer that to being too tight. They aren't as light as I was hoping for, for a summer slipper but they're not too bad. Overall a great house shoe!

I didn't listen to previous reviewers who said these slippers ran large......should've listened! Absolutely no problem exchanging them for the smaller size (medium) and even these are slightly big, but not a problem. What I do have a problem with is the stitching around the inside, top of the slipper. Maybe its just my skin, but I need to wear a light sock because the stitching irritates my skin. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase. And the 3 different customer service reps I spoke to couldn't have been nicer! Oh yeah, who gives you 365 days to return anything?!?!?

A little flimsy, but comfortable. Normally wear a size 8.5-9 so followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered one size down (medium 6.5-7.5), and they work fine.

Been searching for some comfy, lightweight, cool looking slippers and found them in these. I got the plaid. I wear between 8.5 -9 wide, so the L fit just fine. I have even washed them a few times (& air dry), and they turn out great, although there is just slight shrinkage in the length, but barely noticeable. The sole is good, not slippery and I am very pleased with them overall.

I purchased the slippers in October because of the neuropathy in my feet. They are very comfortable and very easy to wear with the numbness. I got a cut on my toe and I couldn’t figure out where it came from. I did not bandage it right away but then I realized it was hurting too bad. Felt inside the slipper and the fabric has worn a hole. Where the sole meet the fabric is too thick and is rubbing against my toe. It happened on other slipper also. Not even 6 months.. disappointed!

Cute slippers but I read the many reviews that said it ran waay too large so I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my normal size (8). It was waay too small instead!

Definitely buy a size smaller since they stretch very easily.

Gonna have to exchange these for the smaller size even though I am a reliable 8.5. They're so big they don't stay on my feet.

No support at all, zero! The material was nice, and the design was nice, but they hurt my feet.

This was the most uncomfortable material, very stiff and scratchy feeling. Returned.

Felt nice and think and comfy for one day! Now it's like walking on the floor barefoot. Disappointed in Acorn!

I like these to wear around the house. Easy on and off. Good fit.

The fit is just right. I tried some other brands but the only really comfortable slippers for me are Acorn. I do have to over the seams inside the slippers but that's all and I am good to go.

Very comfy slippers, especially the well-cushioned soles.
