The leather looked cheap.

I'm sorry to say they were the most uncomfortable ever. I tried them three days. Today, I donated them to Goodwill and ordered a pair of Nunn Bush 83890 from Shoe Station. This style was not on your site anymore.

I cannot fathom where are the five star reviews are coming from on this shoe. Maybe if you always buy shoes from Target and Payless and this is the nicest pair of shoes you’ve ever owned. I bought these for my husband for Christmas, but I don’t think I’m going to give them to him. The sole is that cheap plastic “foam” that is popping up everywhere - no traction at all, and you certainly can’t resole it. The uppers are made of fake leather bonded to velour inner. Feels very cheap. There is no discernible arch support. Yes, they’re lightweight, but I expect that’s how the sales team is trying to spin the abysmal materials. Anyhow, my husband’s former shoes were Croft & Barrow from Kohl’s. They were too heavy, but at least they had rubber soles and seemed durable. I’d be surprised if these lasted six months.

Shoes look and feel great. They are very light and comfortable. However, they don't provide enough support on the days that I have to do lots of walking. I wear these shoes when I need to look nice but don't anticipate having to walk very much.

I tried these Rockports for the first time, and was very disappointed. At first glance they look nice, and they are comfortable, and they have a removable insole, but overall quality looks low. They look like fake vinyl, not leather, and the sole is like some kind of foamy rubber, not something that will hold up. I foresee these wearing out very quickly. I returned them and this will be my first and last Rockport purchase. Maybe they used to be good, but now they use cheap materials.

Could not even get the shoe on my foot! Size was way off. I ordered another shoe from the same manufacturer and it fit perfectly. I suppose this shoe was mislabeled.

Cheap made plastic soles.

Purchased these shoes during November 2019 and wear them everyday to work. They VERY comfortable and they look great. I am in need of a new pair because the bottom soles are almost completely smoothed out. This happened in 14 months, 4 months of which I didn’t wear them because I working at home due to Covid.

The color was not really close to what I saw online. Even as a 4W, I could not get my foot all the way in. If you have a high instep, this is not the shoe for you.

I have had Rockport shoes for over 10 years and have not had trouble with getting the correct fit. This was my second order for this style because I thought my first order for this style was not true to size. Although they look great I will be returning this shoes with my first order.

Bought this shoe for my son. First pair had scuff marks and scratches on both shoes; second pair had scuff marks and were worn; the third pair were fine. Zappos needs to improve there inspection of shoes that likely are returns to ensure outgoing quality. The shoe itself is comfortable and looks nice.
