I love these shoes. They feel great and they look so cute. My feet did not feel tired after wearing them all day as they do in other sneakers. The only complaint I have is that for someone with narrow feet, like me, they're almost too big. I pulled the laces as tight as they would go and my heel does not slip, but I'd love it if they were a tiny bit narrower.

Love this shoe, but the 38 is too small and the 39 is too big. I would have kept if there was a 38 1/2. I wear a size 8 shoe.

I love this brand of shoes and have many, but these were too tight across the top of my foot, and I don't wear a wide. Going try a different style.

Pros: these look great; have a stiff sole, which is good if you want a stable surface; and are very comfortable to wear. Cons: the uppers are also somewhat stiff, so be careful to order in a large enough size that your toes don't get squeezed.

Tried these while looking for a streamlined athletic shoe to wear to Europe. A little narrow for my wide toe box (but probably an appropriate width for a "normal" width foot). I personally felt the style was a little to orthopedic.

These are cute shoes. I like that they do not have the white sides on the soles of the shoes. Unfortunately they do not have the arch support I have come to love with Dansko.

How disappointing these were for me, as a Dansko clog fan. They feel rather cheaply made, are hard and thin in the insole - not enough metatarsal cushion at all. I do have a higher arch than average, but these don't have much of any kind of support inside.

The bungee laces made it fit sloppily.

These are narrower than other Danskos I have in the same size. They also kind of look like soccer cleats in their style.

I do not have a wide foot but these felt quite snug.

Although I typically love Dansko shoes, these were very uncomfortable and they actually just sit in my closet. The bottom of the shoes is way too narrow so they feel like you're going to tip over and don't feel stable

This shoe is surprisingly stiff and becomes uncomfortable after just 20 minutes of activity. The toe box, even for a Medium width, is confining and pinches. The bottom does not bend/give - and makes a clacking noise when walking. While it appears to be a 'soft' athletic shoe, it is more like a traditional clog with a somewhat softer top. I got this in a 39 (8.5-9) and normally wear 8.5 Medium. The length is accurate, and the heel is a good fit - neither too tight nor slipping. I've worn it half a dozen times and on each occasion I've experienced painful tingling in the balls of my feet and rubbing on toes. Admittedly I have metatarsal pain in one foot. However, the pain/numbness appears in both. I will keep working to 'break them in', but I'm disappointed these are not immediately comfortable (as I have other shoes that have been).

Looking for a good walking shoe that's not an athletic shoe. Did not know Dansko was making lace-up shoes, so was happy to try these. They are incredibly cute. Unfortunately,they run VERY narrow, which is odd for Dansko. Also, I really don't like the bungee-style lacing. Must send them back.

Too small! I wear an 8 or 8.5 and the 39 was too tight. Dansko sizing is just not consistent, as the last pair of Danskos I bought (Lucille, which I LOVE) are size 39 and are perfect, very roomy. Disappointed.

So disappointed. I've been looking and looking for comfortable, not too geeky-looking walking shoes, and these looked great, and everybody says Danskos are so comfortable. But the size 42, described as 11.5-12, is just way too small. I wear between an 11 and a 12, so I usually have to buy 12 because there isn't an 11.5 available, and often have trouble with 12's being too big on me. So these are NOT 11.5-12. And, of course there isn't anything bigger, so no Danskos for me. And, despite the shoe being toe short and squeezing my toes, they were too loose at the heel.

I really wanted to like this shoe. I wanted a nice low profile athletic shoe to wear to Europe. I ordered a size 42 (size 11.5 - 12). I am normally a size 11. These were way too small. They fit great on my mom who wears a size 10.

I wanted to love these shoes. The colors are nice, not wild, and my full length sport orthotics fit nicely inside. I thought they were perfect until I stood up! Oh my! There isn't any cushioning/padding in the sole. It felt like there were rocks under my heels. I own several other pairs of Danskos but this is my first lace-up pair. These are not at all what I expected from Dansko. Sadly, I will return them and continue searching for the perfect casual shoe to wear with my orthotics.

I tried wearing these for days. A few hours here and there, all day, it didn't matter. They just do not fit correctly and have absolutely no support. I have to wear my Dr. Scholl's arch supports, for the cost I expected my feet to feel much better wearing them. I haven't had a blister in years, these shoes gave me blisters, they run very wide. I would love to return them but wanting to be able to keep them I have worn them. I do not know the policy for shoes already worn. But I would love to get my money back for these that's for sure!

I know your heel is supposed to come out of the Dansko clogs as you walk, but with Dansko sneakers? It just doesn't work for me. Or maybe my heel is just too narrow, but I couldn't cinch these shoes up enough to stay on my feet. Back they go.

What a disappointment. I bought to be walking shoes for a European vacation. They are cute, but I found out -- too late -- that they don't have enough support and twist on my feet. I over-pronate, but have only had this issue with asics running shoes. These will be used for running errands, not walking for any distance.

I really wanted to like these shoes but I found them narrow through the toe box and they rubbed my achilles because the back of the shoe is too high. I ordered my regular size but concluded they were too small and too narrow after wearing them for a couple of hours. I recommend sizing up, though I'm still concerned about the rub issue and the narrow toe box even with sizing up. Arch support as always with Dansko was great but I'll skip this style in the future.

Thought I would give the Helen a try as I am a huge fan of the Dansko Paisley - best walking shoe EVER! Unfortunately, the Helen does not compare. The sizing seems to be off. It is very narrow and short. Sent it back. I will stick to the Paisley.

At the advice of a friend, I bought these for a recent trip to Italy - knew we would be doing a lot of walking, and for me, appropriate shoes were a key factor of our trip. These Danskos were perfect in every way and made for comfortable support for miles and miles of walking on all sorts of terrain through hilly towns, farmland and big cities - GREAT shoes!
