this is a very attractive sandal; however, there need to be more holes in for adjustment to keep sandal on foot!

I bought this brand upon the recommendation of my podiatrist to help alleviate pain from plantar fasciiatis. While they have helped with that problem, the black shoes stain my feet black everywhere the shoe touches my foot. Hopefully that annoyance will go away with time.

Very comfortable. I I wear an 11 and these ran too small. Sadly, I am returning them.

I love the shoe, and when it first arrived it was fine. However, it's stretched a good bit, which I don't like.

I first ordered these in the gray, but they were way to sparkly for me. The red is currently the only color that is full grain leather. It's very soft and pretty. These aren't really hip shoes, but they definitely aren't old lady shoes either. I wear a 6.5B and the 37 is perfect in length. The shoe itself would be too wide but for the adjustable straps. The arch support is amazing. I can wear these without break-in in New Orleans, on my feet for 16 hours a day for a week. I think these will work well. The exchange was complicated by the fact that I had used a coupon and I needed the shoes asap for a business trip. I turned to online chat and they made it all magically happen. Thanks, Zappos!

The look and feel of these shoes is great but the sole and composition of base is slippery. I need to remove them to drive.

I don't like these at all. They hurt my last two small outer toes on both feet. something under the strap irritates the nerves in those toes. I don't have this problem with any of my other Dansko sandals or shoes. I bought them in a store. From now on I may just order my shoes from Zappos.

They are pretty and comfortable, but they are a bit clunky/chunky. If you're a fan of refined feet, you may want to skip this shoe. I find that they are not quite as versatile as I'd hoped.

These are adorable and comfortable and in my opinion nicer than the Dansko Sofie sandals because they have a leather footbed instead of whatever the Sofie has, which gets smelly and gross. I had to throw my Sofie sandals out--I just couldn't keep them from getting stinky, so I came on Zappos to find a sandal with a leather footbed and I found these. Granted, there isn't nearly as good a color choice as the Sofie, but I couldn't deal with that footbed. These also have about a 1/2" or so higher heel, which I liked. I do wish they would have more color choices and maybe they are just too new yet and they will have more with time. If they do, I will certainly buy more. I am giving 4 stars overall just because of the lack of color choices, but definitely 5 stars for comfort and style!

I have ordinary, non-problem feet with high arches. Even with both straps cinched down, I felt these wanted to fall off with every step. I think maybe Dansko specializes in the high volume foot.

I tried to ignore the squeak, but it was too annoying. To Goodwill they went.

I prefer the Dansko Sophie over the Jessie. After normal wear, Jessie's uppers have stretched. They are now too loose,and the footbed is slippery so my foot thrusts forward in the sandal with each step.

Eh....Didn't think they looked as cute IRL. Definitely wider than expected. Wider than the same size of Dansko Sophie. They didn't feel like they would stay on my feet comfortably. I kept squishing up my toes to keep them on my feet, even after tightening the adjustable straps. I have pretty narrow feet. Also did not like the feel of the foot bed. It felt like squeaky plastic. :shudder:

I only wear Dankso and buy about two pairs a year. I have this style in two colors: black and caramel. The caramel isn't as comfortable. The tab under the buckle folder under and refuses to stay in place. The other thing about these shoes is that they set off the metal detectors at the airports so I have to take them off.

I love Danskos, and these remind me of a pair of Dr. Scholl's sandles I had 35 yr ago and I loved, those were navy, wood sole and wore like iron. I totally wore them our and mourned the loss of them and have never been able to find a replacement. I HATE lizard or any 'skin' look. So these are out. I like the red leather, but don't wear much of that color. Wish I could try these, but don't like the color selection. Dog gone it.

Did not like the height of the heel! Hurt my knees just trying them on in the house. The sophie was a bit shorter in height but the reviews said it got stinky because of the material footbed. I may try it out anyways & spray something on it.

These made the tops of my feet black!

I have had issues with Dansko quality of late, and unfortunately this shoe was no different. The strap closer to the toe wasn't lined up correctly on one foot, so the part of the strap that is on the outside of the foot was closer to the toe than the part that originates on the inside of the foot. Not only did this look sloppy, it also made the two shoes fit very differently, and that one felt much looser and let my toes feel like they were sliding forward too much. Changing the buckle hole did not fix the problem. I thought about retiring for a different pair of the same shoe, but I wasn't wild about the comfort despite the strap. I felt kind of like my toes were being bent up due to the mold of the footbed. I wanted a comfortable black platform clog sandal without an ankle strap SO badly and sadly I'm still looking. I really wish Dansko would fix their quality and inconsistent fit issues.

Love the style of this shoe but the support is lacking. I just wish that Dansko would make a sandal as sturdy as the standard clogs. The Clogs do not hurt my feet at all. Just to hot to wear in the summer months. This sandal out of all other sandals similar in this style was least sturdiest. Not sure why they did this. Sad I had to return it. The newer clogs that are more fancier are really cute but also made less supportive and hopefully Dansko will correct this issue and make a cute style with support that they offer with the standard clogs. The purpose of these shoes are for people who are on their feet all day or have issues with their back or for people who just love supportive shoes. Love the basic clogs you make. Been wearing them for over 20 years. Hope this helps! If you are looking for the support the clogs offer, then don't buy these.

I adore Dansko shoes! As a 30+ year customer, I have had multiple pairs of clogs and consider them to be my favorite shoes. They are easily the most comfortable and versatile shoes I've ever owned. Sadly, however, these shoes didn't work for me at all. The strap nearest the toes rubbed on my little toe and on the inside of the beginning of my instep, making it impossible to wear them more than half an hour. Also, my toes extended over the top of the sole even though I had plenty of room overall in the shoe. Tightening the straps made them even more uncomfortable. I returned them, sadly, because the soles were incredibly comfortable.

I have flat skinny feet and the straps across were just not tight enough. They ARE adjustable, but just wasn't enough. I have tried on another color of the Jessie that did fit fine, so perhaps it varies from shoe to shoe. Still, great Dansko comfort. Really wished it had worked. I wear a 38, got a 38, and it was true to size.

Ow! Straps are too hard, pinches my bunions! Footbed is not soft like The Sophie! The Sophie is better if you want comfort. I wish they would make the buckles smaller on the Sophie, like they do on the Jessie. Returning now!

I love the style of these shoes. They are different than other Danskos that I have and have had in the past. I have narrow feet and it would have been helpful had they had an extra hole for the toe and across the arch as you cannot just make another hole as they have a metal grommet. And, they really hurt where the buckle is attached. There is a large bump that just hits my foot in a very tender spot. Maybe this will not hurt others. But, they are cute shoes.

We love this brand and it is the most comfortable brand we have found. I bought these as a gift for my mother. Unfortunately, they will be returned. The dye wore off after a couple outings and turned her feet black. This was the fourth pair of Dansko's I purchased this year. Maybe this pair were flawed.
