Awesome bootie. Cute with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, etc. Very comfy. I have narrow feet and usually wear an 8 with thick socks, and the 38 is fairly roomy on me with thick socks.

Amazing clog/boot/shoe. I bought these to wear this fall because they sell out so quickly when they are in season. I have only worn them around the house and already know they will be a favorite.

I absolutely love the Dansko Maria. It's incredibly comfortable and looks great too. I usually wear a 9M and in the regular Dansko clog I wear a 40 but in this shoe I wear a 39. I tried the 40 first and wanted it to fit but when I tried the 39 and it fit perfectly it was obvious I was swimming in the 40. The dark brown is a nicer color than the black but I bought them both and love them. I wish they had them in other colors like red (hint hint Dansko)! I will add that I have big ankles and they are slimming -- I think if you had very slender ankles (and if you do I am forever envious of you) they may look clunky.

These booties are beautiful. Unfortunately they did not fit me as they are very wide around the ankles and instep so my foot pressed forward into the front of the shoe. I need shoes that have a wide toe box but are narrower in the heel/ankle/instep to hold my foot in the back of the shoe!

Is it wrong to want to buy the Taupe pair and then have them dyed to a blood red? Or maybe Purple? This is by far the most comfy pair of Dansko's I have ever worn. I will be getting another pair to dye and then wear in the winter.

I love these shoes, can walk all day in them and they do not leave my feet feeling sore like most shoes. They look great with jeans and/or skirts. I broke my foot seven years ago and need an arch support, these are great shoes for comfort and style.

This is an amazing stylish boot - Dansko has got it right. I'm really surprised that they're out of stock in most places though. I can't find the taupe in 37 anywhere. Really love this boot with skinny jeans rolled up. Dare I put the words "Dansko" and "sexy" in the same sentence? Yes.

Very happy with these little ankle boots. They have the comfort of flats but with the bonus of a bit of height as opposed to another Dansko ankle boot I purchased that I love too but they have a more narrow heel for dressier occasions but you feel like you have worn heels after so many hours on your feet. With this pair you don't have that at all -- after hours on my feet they felt as good as a sports shoe. They have excellent arch support for us high arch people and it was in just the right place for my normal shoe size. The only thing that probably won't make a difference to most but was a little off for me is the ankle opening & heel are a bit too roomy & I'd like to see them narrowed but that's only because I have a very narrow ankle & heel in relation to the rest of my foot. That's much of the reason I prefer the ankle boots because I don't have the slipping problems on the back of my heels it still have plenty of toe room. They definitely are a favorite pair in both comfort & relaxed looks.

I am in love with these boots!! I had them shipped to my office and I put them on and wore them the rest of the day. They are so perfectly comfortable I cannot believe it. I was looking for something that will transition me into spring, and I want to be able to walk distances in them. I like to take walks on my lunch break in my local downtown area and with these I don't have to switch into more comfortable shoes. I can see how some might think this shoe is a little bit on the narrow side, but it is perfect for me since I have a pretty narrow foot. I had no trouble getting my foot in the boot either like some other reviewers stated. I wear an 8 usually and the 38 fits me wonderfully. It's an added bonus that they are super cute too! Someone at the elevator told me they liked my shoes the first time day I was wearing them. I am going to New York in a month, I am counting on these babies to be my shoes to explore the city in. I am curious though, there is a scotch guard sticker inside the box. Does this mean they have already been protected, or is that a suggestion to scotch guard them?

One of the best pairs of shoes I own. Comfortable, stylish. I just wish they came in more colors.

These are perfect! I wear lots of Dansko styles because the sole is non flexible and supports my Hallix Rigidus toe issue. This style is slightly sexy! the lighter color sole against the brown nubuck looks great. The boot itself is lightweight but looks sturdy.

I bought this with some trepidation as other reviews mentioned difficulty getting the boot on. I have not found that to be the case and I have fat ankles. It's not a boot you can just slip into but with minimal effort it's on. I especially like how light weight it is. It looks good, with a tiny bit of edge to it and yet has great arch support. I'm happy with it.

Yay, these are fantastic! I'm a teacher and Dansko clogs are some of the only shoes I can wear at work without having back and leg pain at the end of the day. Finally some Danskos that can be worn in winter! These work well for me, as a mid-30s aged, funky artsy gal with a sort of '90s aesthetic in fashion. I can wear them well with black leggings and a dress, and I think they'll do well without leggings in the early spring. In my opinion, these are slightly more narrow than the standard Dansko clogs. The fit is otherwise the same, and you will have the normal heel-slippage in these (but they're still comfy cozy). The ankle seams, etc, are totally painless. Very comfortable!

These are beautiful and well-made ankle booties. I have been a long time wearer of Dansko clogs and have always worn size 37. After reading many reviews I ordered size 36 in the taupe color. I believe that the reviews on size are conflicting because customers are wearing these booties in a variety of ways. For me, I am purchasing the booties for early spring to wear with cuffed jeans. In this pursuit, I am looking to wear thin ped socks to be able to show some skin above the boot. Therefore, the size 36 fits great. Additionally, the taupe color is an ideal and versatile light grey.

I rated these "felt narrower than marked" because they're Dansko in a regular width and, amazingly, I can nonetheless wear them. That never happens. Usually I swim in Danskos and am limited to the pro clogs in narrow -- or, recently, the (wonderful) Rene lace-ups. I am surprised by how well these fit and HAPPY beyond reason. Plus, the arch support is good enough to forgo the extra orthotic all non-Dansko or Sanita shoes require: yay! I also love that these boots are just regular ole boots, nothing fancy. They are perfect for just kicking around in. Great for baggy, faded jeans on the weekends, and great for those days at work where you can get away with jeans or cords. They're just boots. Super duper comfortable, good looking, old fashioned boots. Thank you Dansko!

These are going to have to go back. I'd love to keep them because the leather is buttery and the sole is amazingly supportive, but they're just so off on the length. They're ridiculously long! Sadly, there's no size lower than 36 so no chance of exchange. I've had four other pairs of Danskos always in size 36 which have been just right with a little room to move, especially at the heel, but these boots feel like they're a 37 or 38. I'm still considering keeping them and wearing three pairs of socks! If you can find them in the correct size, snap these up!

I love these boots! Finally there's a comfortable booty that looks great and I can wear for hours. I have worn Dansko clogs for years for work (cooking) but got tired of wearing them for everyday non work purposes. These boots are super cute and feel great. I was worried about getting my foot in them as a couple reviewers had that issue, but even with my wider foot it was fine. I love them so much I bought the grey color too!

Based on some other reviews I was a little weary of these. I wear a US 9 and bought these in a EU 40. I have a wide foot and a bunion and was worried these might be too narrow. In fact, they are comfortable straight out of the box! They run a little long and maybe the extra length somehow makes up for the fact that they're also a little narrower than other Danskos I own. I am surprised at how comfortable they are -- much more so than either Swedish Hasbeens or No. 6 clog boots that are very similar but much more expensive and much less comfortable. I have no problems getting them on or off and while I bought them in black I'm going to order another pair in brown. So chic and comfortable!

I love these boots. They are super comfortable, super stylish, and I get compliments on them every time I wear them. People have a hard time believing they are Danskos! In fact, I wish Dansko made more fashionable boots like this. I have a high arch and Plantar Fasciitis - these boots make my feet feel so much better. I normally wear a 42 in their clogs, but in this I am a 41. Fits perfectly.

These boots are amazing! They are super stylish and go with everything - skinnies, boot-cut jeans and skirts. They are beyond comfortable and the leather is quality! I loved them so much that I threw down the money and bought them in 2 colors. You can't go wrong with these timeless, high-quality boots!

It's true, getting into the boot, even with the zipper, is snug. But it stretches quickly. I've been in Danskos exclusively for 15 years and my normal 39 clog size fits great. I'm sure they will loosen up as I wear them...all the time!

Was reluctant to purchase these because of cost and reviews. But I wanted a cute boot in this color and comfortable. These are very comfortable, I wore these for hours! As far as lady having problems getting them on, I didn't experience that. Love these.

First thing...I'm not sure what boot other reviewers were trying on but these have a zip on the inside. They couldn't be easier to get on and off. These boots fit and feel like the "regular clog", they "slip" in the heel. I love absolutely love these. Much cuter than the regular clog (which I own) and more versatile. I bought the grayish/beige/stone color...it's gorgeous!

I recently broke my foot - slight fracture - and bought these on my doctor's recommendation. They fit perfectly right out of the box and are very comfortable. They are my third pair of Danskos and I couldn't be happier with them.
