From the moment I put these on, I was impressed. They are so comfortable and so stylish--perfect for jeans or a skirt. I cannot wear heels, not even the slightest one, but somehow these boots are amazingly comfortable. Great arch support. I've been wearing them all day at work today and have been surprised by how excellent they feel. Highly recommend!

Great product, however only one star for overall because Zappos sent me two DIFFERENT sized shoes. I love these boots and have owned them before. Just super annoying that I have to go through the trouble of returning them on their error.

This review is for the Black leather version (I have the suede, and I LOVE them, I want them in all colors). Sadly, the black leather version runs quite small. I had to order a full size larger and after a few weeks, am still breaking them in. They do have a HORRIBLE smell as well. I don't get sweaty feet, but after taking off my leather boots, I can't describe how gross they smell. I've worn them enough that I can't return them, so I'm going to try some sort of deodorant in them. Just my .02 cents: they run a size small, and stink. I love, love, love the suede version, and they run true to size & smell just fine. :)

Super cute, but not as sturdy as I expected from a Dansko. I felt like I was going to twist my ankle in these, and I wear heels frequently. Also you definitely need to size up in these!

I so wanted to love these booties! So cute, and friends have told me they can walk for days in them. Top of boot is too loose for me, and I'm stepping out of them.

I love these booties! I have bunions and no longer am comfortable in heels at all. These are a great and cute way to add some height and yet be able to walk, stand, bike (yes I've bikes ti meetings etc in these) comfortably. I think I'll be able to easily fit a nice warm wool sock in them for when real Minnesota winter hits.

These have been my go-to fall/winter/spring boots for a few years now. I am on my feet all day at work and also live in NYC, where one walks everywhere. They were always a bit tight in the instep, but after some stretching would work. I just bought my third pair of black nubuck, and although I tried THREE different pairs, they are just too tight--primarily the left boot. May be a factory defect, but who knows? As I also just bought the taupe, and they fit well. In any case, a new alternative this season is the Max https://m.zappos.com/p/dansko-max-black-veg/product/8904878/color/59083 and I couldn't recommend them more. The style is a bit different, eg, the zipper on the outside, the heel darker, a fold-over seam in the back. Best of all, they are wider across the instep and fit me like a glove--an all-around perfect alternative to this model.

This boot is sadly not nearly as wide as the Dansko XP or their other clogs.

I have been a Dansko clog wearer for several years. This is my first foray into trying the Dansko boot, and I started with the Maria. They are very cute, and I love the rounded. I am a true size 36 in Dansko clogs, and so that is the size I ordered. I could not get my foot into the boot, no way. My feet are on the wide side, but my arch is not unusually high. The top of the boot is very stiff leather, no give at all, and the zipper did not open wide enough to allow me to move my foot into the foot bed. Sadly, these must go back.

I love these booties! I wear a 9.5 normally, 40 in dansko clogs. I ordered a 40 in the Maria booties, and they seemed to slip around a lot more than my dansko clogs. I ordered a 39, and I expect they will fit just fine when they arrive. Support and comfort is very similar to my dansko clogs.

Love these boots, super cute. The sizing on some Dansko shoes is off. These are supposed to fit a US 5.5-6, however they are a full size too big. Sad to return. Dansko, please make more of your shoes in size 35, which, in Dansko sizing, is women's US 4-5.

I could not slide my foot in. This shoe is pretty narrow for a Dansko.

I love these booties! As with all Dansko shoes, they are super comfortable and provide great arch support.

I can tell these are comfortable and they're definitely a great looking bootie of great quality, but they are just too narrow. I have maybe a slightly wider foot than average and only wear wide widths for dressier shoes like flats because a lot of women's dress shoes tend to be narrow (in my opinion). I don't need a wide width in sneakers or any other type of shoe other than dressier shoes. I wear a size 11 in all shoes and got these in a size 42 (which is the correct European size equivalent, so I'd recommend using a standard size chart rather than how the sizes are listed on Zappos for this brand). I also wear a size 42 in other brands except Birkenstock, in which I prefer a 41. I was able to get my foot into the boot but they're way too tight in the toe box. I could potentially use a stretcher to help them fit better, which I've done with many leather boots, but I'm wondering if that would be worth trying for such an expensive shoe that I may have to return. Leather does stretch but these are just too tight to try to stretching them from wear alone. It's too bad they probably won't work out because it's rare when I find a heeled shoe or boot that are comfortable for me. Good thing Zappos is awesome! I have a long time to decide and returns are super easy.

Love these! Wore them the first day - all day with no problem. Had no issues getting my wider feet into the boot. These are going to be a staple fall/winter shoe (Scotchguard!) and were worth a bit of investment. A great/cheaper alternative to the Swedish boots I had been coveting.

I love the way these boots look. And usually, I have great success with Dansko styles. Not these, however. If you have a wider foot or bunions, this shoe will not work for you. Too bad, because I loved them otherwise!

These are absolutely amazing shoes. I typically wear 8.5-9 in shoes. My dansko clogs are a 40 but I was unsure on the fit of these boots so I ordered the 39 and 40. So glad i did because the 40 was huge and felt like a clown shoe. The 39 fits perfectly. These have just the right amount of heel and are so stylish. They will be the perfect shoe for me to chase my kids around in this fall.

I liked this boot but I didn't love it; not $180. worth of love, anyway. They were comfortable on my narrow foot with thick socks and were immediately comfortable to walk in. But something about the style didn't grab me and, unfortunately, I have an old pair of Dansko ankle boots, that are my favorite, to compare them to. The old pair is so much more stylish.

This ran snug for me. I usually wear a 39 (wide) in Danskos, but this style felt snug to me. Love the look and the style, but sadly, they are going back.

I just bought my third pair of these. They are SO comfortable and stylish. My favorite bootie ever!

I wrote a review for the black Maria, which was positive. Overall, my review of these is also positive, however the first taupe pair I ordered had some weird color variations and a small scratch int he nubuck. The second pair I ordered had a thin strip of glue on it, which I was able to easily remove. My point is that quality control can be a bit iffy with Dansko, but in particular the taupe pair. Zappos was awesome taking care of my exchange as always! Anyway, I think the Maria fits tts assuming a regular width foot, and that only thin socks will be worn. If my for was wide, or I planned to wear a thick sock, then I would have tried the next half size up. Love the support in Danskos,

I love the Dansko Maria, because it is the perfect marriage between a bootie and a clog. These look stylish without looking like a traditional comfort shoe. They're very comfortable, and they look great with skinny jeans rolled up, or boyfriend jeans. I have a history of foot / ankle issues on my right foot, and Dansko always keeps my foot (both feet actually) happy and healthy. By the way, the grey nubuck really is as light grey as depicted in the images.

these were cute but the insole on one of the clogs was an inch shorter than the other. Your toes would hang awkwardly over the ledge of the insole. I had to return them because of it.

I get lots of compliments on these. Taupe is comfy and versatile.
