This is a wonderful shoe. I love a pump style but cannot wear most versions any longer (collapsed arches). This shoe is supremely comfortable. It actually feels like a slipper (but a supportive slipper) and it's very attractive. The strap keeps my foot in place and the soft fabric lets my toes expand. I initially bought a pair in navy and then scurried to get another pair in black. I hope it comes out in additional colors.

These are beautiful shoes however the 7½W was too small and the 8W too large. If the back strap on the 8W was a buckle then perhaps it would have worked. As it was the back strap was much too long. I could not rate these shoes because I did not wear either pair.

Perfect! These shoes were exactly what I was looking for in navy. They are comfortable and stylish. Am going to wear them to a wedding with a new dress that has navy in it.

The shoe is very comfortable to walk in and stylish. I bought in blue & black. I own a lot of Munro shoes. I have a narrow foot and they have the best fit for my foot. Zappos service makes it so easy to try something new!

These shoes are comfortable except I cannot wear any kind of trouser sock or hose with them. I just feel slightly "unpolished" in bare legs. But my foot slides too much in these shoes to wear any....have never had this happen before. I'm keeping them but they will be summer only shoes.

I haven't worn these shoes yet, but when I tried them on, they seemed to fit perfectly and feel terrific! My size 9AAAA feet are very hard to fit, and it's even harder to find comfortable, stylish shoes that work for me. I'm looking forward to the wedding for which I purchased these shoes so I can prove to myself that they are as comfy as I think they will be! I had purchased 3 other pairs to try, but these were by far the most comfortable, and the others were returned to Zappos. Thanks for the fantastic service, Zappos!

I have wide, flat feet. (That feels like some kind of confession...) Munro has never let me down. I do not like spending lots of money on shoes, but when they fit, look nice and last, it is worth the investment. I probably have close to a dozen Munros and they have all held up super under constant wear. This particular shoe is stretchy but did not cause a bulge across my foot. I cannot wear most heels, but was going to a cocktail party and was determined to find something that would look pretty. This worked!

This black crosshatch Ella in 8½N is perfect for my thin foot. After many free deliveries and returns by Zappos, for which I am truly grateful, I finally have dress shoes! For me, these will be event shoes and not sightseeing or shopping shoes. For that I need well padded shoes with excellent arch. These shoes are so 1920's with the strap across the instep and classic mid-heel sling-back style! The lining prevents the sling from sliding off the heel. Even though there is no discernible arch on insole, the construction in the arch area gives very sufficient support. I could not be more satisfied. Would like to see a spring/summer color in the material Ella. However, with the touch of patent leather across the mid step, these are definitely year round shoes. Thank you, Zappos, for swapping my most recent return for Ella! All it took was a phone call.

I love these Abby shoes. (Size 8 1/2 N). I have a really hard time finding a dress shoe to accommodate my thin feet with a high arch. However, after many deliveries and returns, all free of course, Zappos and I have come up with a real winner! These Abby crosshatch shoes are sooo 1920's, think Downton Abby, with the elastic strap across the instep and the sling back that fits perfectly and the touch of black patent that makes this shoe wearable year-round. I will only wear a few hours at a time for a dress event. I would not go on a walking trip or shopping. But that's just me. I envy the people who can put on a shoe and wear it anywhere for as long as needed. If available, I would order this shoe in a fabric spring/summer color. The insole is not thick but it is soft. There is no visible arch but the design of the shoe in the arch area is such that the support you need is there. I am so glad to have finally found a dress shoe. Thank you, Zappos!

Very comfortable and cute for a 60 year old. I usually wear a little taller heel but needed a closed toe shoe that I could stand in for a long time. These definitely fit that bill and are stylish.

I needed a pair of dress shoes to wear to an evening wedding, So I ordered seven pairs of shoes from Zappos, hoping to find one pair that would fit, as I have a very difficult time finding shoes to fit. I have an extremely narrow heel, but a narrow shoe is usually too tight through the forefoot. I ordered a 7N and it fit perfectly! It not only fits, but is also comfortable. Out of the seven pairs I ordered this was the only shoe that fit! I am so thankful for Zappos! I rarely buy shoes in a store, since finding Zappos!

Beautiful shoes! I have a wide foot and high arch. These were so comfortable right out of the box. Wore them at work all day.

This is the best fitting dressy shoe I have ever owned. My feet are very narrow and on the small side. I have tried most everywhere on-line and off. I am up there in age and were tickled to find the perfect heel, and, as a plus, a strap across the top to keep the shoe from slipping off at the heel. I can't say enough as to how pleased I am to have found these shoes.

Expencive, but extremely comfortable. I tried at least 20 pairs of navy shoes to go with my gown until I found munro shoes. I will buy another pair in black if they go on sale.

Cute shoe, but too small for me. Also, be aware that it is pretty shiny -- not necessarily a bad thing, but shinier than I expected.

I have extra wide width and find it very difficult to find comfortable shoes. I ordered these shoes after returning two others, one too wide another too tight. These are by far the most comfortable, true to size shoes I have ever worn. I walked for 12 hours, from a wedding celebration to the reception and back to the hotel and had not one moment of other than comfort. I hope all the Munro shoes are this comfortable because I'm definitely hooked on these. I also have herniated discs and need arch support, and these did not affect standing and walking for so long. I'm in love!

Love, love, love this shoe! It felt great immediately and even after a full day of work. I didn't have to break them in at all. I wanted a shoe that looked great for work, but was comfortable and would wrap snuggly around my foot. This one is perfect. It feels great even after I added my Good Feet inserts. I wish it came in more colors. So glad I bought this shoe!

While this shoe would have been perfect for the dress I plan to wear to a wedding, I slipped right out of the back of the left shoe and almost fell. The right shoe fits well; but my left foot is 1/2 size smaller than my right. Also, my heels are a narrow, but the front is a medium. Sadly, this sling-back shoe is not right for me, and I have quite a pronation. I never had any problems with Munro shoes, and I have had several, but never a sling back. I'm so sad!

A perfect Fit! I have very difficult feet to fit (9AA-AAA) and, as a result, get very frustrated and give up. I gave this pair a try and was pleasantly surprised. I have a very narrow heel and the strap across the top helps to keep my foot in place.

I'm really happy with this shoe. It's comfortable, attractive and well constructed. I have a narrow foot but not quite narrow enough for the narrow size. So I'm pleased that the 7m fits so well and with the adjustable strap, holds my foot in so securely.

Heaven for my feet! All my life I have had difficulty finding shoes that fit. I had to buy larger shoes to fit my wide feet. Also, my skin is very tender and fragile, so I need a material that doesn't rub too hard and irritate my feet. I didn't want to pay the price for these shoes, but after trying the black I rushed back to purchase the navy. I ordered my usual size of 8W and these fit perfectly. I wore these at a convention where I was "in charge" on my feet running around and hardly sitting down. No pain and no irritated skin, which is a miracle for me. The elastic strap is comfortable, gently hugs, and has enough give to not strangle the top of the foot. The sling back hugs your ankle and allows you to walk quickly and up and down stairs with no danger of the shoe slipping off. Most of the Munro styles on Zappos are not very dressy, but these work with slacks, skirts and formal wear. I would love this style in brown or bronze. I would also love to see a covered toe, soft fabric sandal that leans towards the sports sandal style for vacation tours that require sturdy footwear.

Love the Munro American Ella. Perfect fit, very comfortable on my very difficult feet and very stylish for day or night wear. MA's are practically the only shoe I wear anymore. And, as always, Zappos customer service is unsurpassed.
