I have cranky feet and it is hard to find shoes that fit my criteria...cute, comfortable and NON-orthopedic looking...these are amazing!!! from the first 11 hour day I wore them..fabulous! (very cute, very very comfortable and no ortho-look) Yay! One thing, the zipper in the back is stylish but as other reviews stated it jingles as you walk...I found a solution! take a wooden toothpick and with the zipper pull in the down position jam the toothpick in, trim it off, dab it with a black marker and no more sound! (you can still easily zip and un-zip) Tad-a!

I love these shoes. They are pretty, and as I get older I am so happy to find comfortable shoes that don't look "old lady" on my foot. The back is a little high and I might put a heel pad in to bring my foot up a bit. Adore the coral color! If I hadn't read other reviews stating that the zipper pull jingles against the back of the shoe (and the zipper is a very nice feature because you can adjust the strap and leave it in place, reducing wear and tear on the strap and saving time because you are not having to fool with the buckle when you slip the shoes on) I might not have been bothered by the sound the zipper pull makes, but I kind of am. Another reviewer had a clever solution of using a toothpick, pushed through the zipper pull and then trimmed off, to solve this. I offer a different solution. If you bought the coral, as I did, you can do this with DMC 6-strand cotton embroidery floss, color number 223. If you don't have embroidery supplies like these, you can easily find them in a fabric store. Just take a large (2") tapestry/embroidery needle, with or without a sharp point (mine is sharp), and run the floss through the opening several times, then tie a knot and trim the tail ends of the floss close to the knot, and use the eye end of the needle to coax the knot inside, behind the pull. Yes, the floss will show, but I think it is unobtrusive. You will have to be the judge of how many times to send the thread through the zipper pull before you are satisfied that the pull will quiet down. These shoes oughtn't to require this kind of alteration, but y'know, maybe some people like having shoes that "jingle, jangle, jingle," like in the old cowboy song about spurs that do that when the cowboy "goes ridin' merrily along." I have attached a photo showing the thread and needle, and both shoes, with only the right shoe's having experienced the "repair." The photo was taken under a strong direct light that makes the thread repair more obvious, but again I promise you that the thread is hardly noticeable otherwise.

These are cute and comfortable. I ordered my usual size, 9.5 and they fit perfectly. The cushiony arch supports are great for my high arches. I love the zipper at the back but be aware that it makes a tinkly noise when you walk. Not a problem for me. I have the black and will probably order another color too.

I couldn't wait to get these sandals delivered so I could try them right away. I LOVE them! They are so stylish and comfortable! I wanted some dressier sandals to wear with jeans, so the color is just right. And the main reason why I love them is because they are shaped to accommodate my large big toe (which many rounded ballerina style shoes are not), and because they are very comfortable right out of the box. The fact that you can just unzip the back to get out of them is also awesome, so that you don't have to constantly readjust the straps. Do not hesitate getting these beauties--they're worth the money! It was true to size and I'm so excited to start wearing them this summer!

Love this shoe! Super comfy, good arch support and no problems wearing them all day right out of the box! Can't ask for anything better than that! I have a couple of funky toes and they were even happy! The khaki color is a good neutral for spring. I also bought the tan - both in 10 Medium.

Pretty sandal! I’m a 7 or 7.5 normally. I got a 7 and it fits fine, maybe slightly roomie. This one is a bit more feminine and sweet looking then the other huarache style (also in my photo). This on is better for work wear or some event that is not as casual.

I usually wear a size 8.5, but wear an 8 in this shoe. Also, I ordered a W width to accommodate my flat feet; the shoe runs narrow. The ankle strap is comfortable and I've never had an issue with it rubbing my skin at all. The little zipper in the back jingles just slightly when you walk, but I hardly notice it now; if you're hypersensitive to things like that you might want to reconsider ordering this style, or at least where them around the house for a while to see if the noise bothers you before you decide whether or not to keep them. :) Adorable style that can be worn dressier or more casual. Great summer shoe that keeps your feet fairly cool.

Went through the return process twice but I finally found that they fit in a *full size smaller* than I normally wear. I have wide feet, and the wide size still feels rather narrow to me (even a half size too big they squeezed my toes) but since the upper is leather I'll be able to stretch it a bit. The shoes are very cute, and the pewter color is so versatile! I'm glad I was able to find a size that fit.

I ordered two pairs of these and am so glad that I did. They fit me like a glove, from my tiny AA heel and roomy enough for my B toes. I love the idea of not having to buckle every time. Buckle to size and use the back zipper for daily wear. No problem breaking them in. They are very comfortable and pretty, too. They are nice dressy sandals for Arizona. I love them!

These are the cutest shoes ever. I ordered the wide, and although they were plenty wide for my feet, the footbed is very narrow under the arch. I either wear orthotics, or have arch supports glued into all my shoes, and with the very narrow footbed, it simply was not wide enough to accomodate the addition of an arch support. I was surprised to see other reviewers say this has good arch suport. I guess if your feet are flat or close to flat, and very very narrow, it would be. I hated to send them back, but could figure no way to get these shoes to support my arches. Too bad as they are the ideal look.

While I agree with the positive comments of others (hooray for comfort and the ability to dress up or down), the bottom of my zipper recently broke (it opens from the bottom up) and I've only had these sandals for 4 months. With a company like Rockport, I expected better quality. This is why my overall star is at 3 rather than 5. Zappos, is there anything you can do? I recommend with the caveat that the zipper may be defective.

I wear a 9.5 in Keens, and I almost exclusively wear Keen, Merrell, or Crocs (I'm into the comfy shoes, and have to be able to walk a couple miles at a time in any pair). Based on foot measurements, I ordered a 10 wide in this, and that was unnecessary. I exchanged for a 9.5 wide, and even these feel loose. I'm not sure I would go down to a 9 or a 9.5 regular width--the wide is really nice for having room in the toe box. Even if they're on the loose side, SUPER comfy and so cute! I walked 3 miles the first day, no blisters, no regrets. I'm considering another pair in a different color!

I see why there are so many conflicting versions of “too big” vs “too small.” I ordered 8 and 8W. The 8 arrived in a Cobb Hill box and the 8W as Rockport. The 8W Rockport is definitely longer. The heel width looks to be the same and the ball width is very slightly wider in the 8W (going by the rubber tread). The sole is very narrow under the arch and wide didn’t help. The 8W being at least a half size longer were too big. The color of the khaki seems a little more taupe to me. The 8s (Cobb Hill) are the correct true 8 size and are not too narrow for the ball of my foot, but the narrow arch part may be the deal breaker. The arch support is not too high at least.

The sizing on this shoes is off. The medium width is ridiculously narrow - 2.25 inches across! The zipper is also noisy and makes the shoes look cheap. These are going back!

I love this sandal. It is not as narrow as I had expected, but that does allow me to use my orthotic inserts. I can wear it all day. More comfortable than an athletic shoe. It looks very feminine on. I also ordered the black. I wish, wish wish the Cobb Hill 'Alexia' came in narrow sizes. I would snap it up too! Are you listening Cobb Hill?

These are made by New Balance and are extremely comfortable. I bought the narrow and they are great and true to size. I wear them all day without problems, they are great summer shoes.

These are great, just right for summer fun. I am between a 6 1/2 & 7. Ordered the 7; it is too long and will be exchanged for the 6 1/2. Thanks to Zappos for their easy exchange.

Great shoes -- and I love that they come in narrow. They were comfortable right out of the box and all through a walking tour of Spain and France. Cobblestones, dirt paths, all terrain. Back zipper is handy and, I discovered, quite popular in Europe. I rather like the gentle sound it makes. The stitching is coming loose in one spot. I do hope that doesn't mean an early end to the shoes, because they are now my favorite.

I love these sandals, it’s so hard to find closed toe sandals these days. They fit great and the material is very high quality. The width is a little mire narrow than I was expecting, even though I chose normal/medium but I have small feet (6.5) so it works! :)

I was shopping for sandals for an upcoming trip to California and tried several different brands, styles, sizes (thanks Zappos!). I ultimately went with these Rockport Cobb Hill Ireland sandals in tan. Although I preferred the comfort/support of some of the Clarks sandals, I decided on the dressier (though still casual) style of the Ireland sandals. I tend to be more on the conservative side for style, so for me these are pretty stylish. I love that they have a closed toe, which I prefer for work. I have been able to wear them with skirts and ankle pants. Although they don't have a ton of arch support or cushion, I think they are very comfortable. I can easily wear them through a full day of work, errands, kid activities, etc. When it is really quiet in my office I do notice the zipper noise, but generally it doesn't bother me. For reference, I wear size 8 or 8.5 depending on the brand, but I prefer size 8.5 in Clarks sandals and also found that 8.5 was better for me in these sandals.

I have narrow feet, most flats and sandals are wide on me, got these in medium width though and they fit just right, so if you have a normal/wider foot, I might try a wide width. I'd hate to see how narrow the narrow width is!

These shoes are my favorite. I wish I had found out about this brand earlier, so I wouldn't have wasted money on cute shoes that I hoped would be comfortable, but made walking miserable. This shoe from Cobb Hill is REALLY comfortable!

The wide size is comfortably wide, although I had to size down a half size and I feel like I could have gone down a full size and been happy. Since I don't wear thick socks (tights, sometimes, when the weather is getting cooler: I tell myself that closed-toe sandals don't look too dorky with tights) with these sandals, there's some extra room. Although my usual size was way too large. But they're cute and comfortable even in really hot weather. I wore my previous pair for several summers before my cat threw up on them and I decided that time is money and I'd rather buy a new pair on sale than clean cat barf out of suede insoles.

These are amazing and adorable, but I had to return for a couple reasons. One, they were far too narrow, even though I ordered the wide width for my size. Two, they were far too long, a good size and a half too long almost. I might try a smaller size later on, I know the leather would let out a bit, but I'm not sure if I'll bother. They did look and feel amazing otherwise.

The tee strap on this stylish sandal makes it possible to adjust the fit for my feet. My left foot is 1/2 size larger than my right foot so fit is always a problem for me. I bought a black and Pewter pair two years ago and just reordered black (for the dreaded day the originals wear out) and Tan to go with khaki and brown pants. These shoes always look great with casual outfits and with dressy pants outfits. I use the zipper for on and off and they show no sign of wear. Just wondering though how I missed the Coral color?????
