After buying my BF a classic pair of Keens which he loves, I wanted a "girl" version. I thought these were a bit dressier than the classics and after reading the reviews, I took a chance and purchased them. There was a warning about rubbing on the tops of feet. I found these fine for walking and standing BUT the moment I started dancing at a concert the top of my feet became severely blistered with over a dozen tick-tak size blisters and two large blisters on the top where the bungee cords meet. Every time I would move and the bungee cord stretched, it pinched my feet between two bungees when I moved the other way. I have been dealing with the worst blisters of my life, which are on the tops of my feet. It has been over a week and I am finally starting to heal but my feet are still very sore and swollen from the inflammation. I would NOT recommend these sandals.

Comfortable but difficult to get on and off and smell bad after getting wet. The tongue slips down when you are trying to pull them on. Why do they even need a tongue? Not at all suitable for boating or the beach. Lots of sand trapped inside and it took them a very long time to dry. After they got wet they smelled embarrassingly bad. So bad that if I touched them, my hand would smell bad. I had to quarantine them. I will be throwing these out after only 2 weeks of using them on vacation.

I wear a size nine and my feet are a little wider than average after having children, but usually that doesn't warrant ordering a special size. I loved these shoes conceptually, but after wearing them for 5 minutes I noticed an uncomfortable rub on the top of my foot. I'm sure if I had kept wearing them I would have had a blister or more significant abrasion. For that reason, I sent them back.
