I haven't worn them a lot, but they are comfortable. They have a high arch. My toe does hit the end. I think the next 1/2 up would have been too big.

This is a cute and comfortable shoe...but I wish it didn't cover so much of the top of my foot. It would look much better if the opening was an inch or more larger so the shoe did not come right up to the ankle on top, making the shoe look bigger in my opinion, and because I'm an 8.5...well, that's big enough. On the upside...it is very light weight and airy...perfect for summer. I got the black/lagoon and like the color very much. I own several Keens and like them all, but am still on the fence about keeping this one...at this price I really need to love it.

I'm a Keen fan and couldn't resist this shoe. For my foot it ran small. Second time around it fit perfectly. It was very comfortable to wear right out of the box though it has minimal arch support.

These are great shoes! I bought these for our recent sailing trip to the Aeolian Islands (Sicily). The shoes are great in/around water, and are very quick to dry (versus my boat shoes). I wore them on rocky beaches, and right into the sea. I wore them in marina showers. But what I really appreciated was the good support, including arch support, which made these very good walking/hiking shoes. We hiked up to an ancient hilltop castle, and these shoes were great. When I encountered a lot of small pebbles, or if I was on a very long walk, I put on a pair of shortie SmartWool socks for comfort. The soles are nice and cushy and have a very stable base. I found the shoes to be true to size. I do have the toggle tie at its loosest setting (not toggle-cinched at all), and they are fine. Very comfortable shoes! I would put them in the category of "so ugly, they might be cute," but my husband says they are nice-looking. They are different!

As others have commented, the footbed is very soft and comfortable. I would have liked a little arch support, but overall they are surprisingly comfortable. You are very aware of the "loop" material, but not in a bad way. That said, I don't buy into the idea that they're so ugly that they're cool. They just look clunk. The colors are good, but I just don't know when I'd wear these. They just aren't very flattering.

I got these in Black and Mineral size 11. I was anxious to wear them. Yes, they are a bit ugly but a cute ugly. I get compliments when I wear them. I find them uncomfortable. They dig into my 3rd toe on each foot and gave me a blister. They are too tight around the heel and after a few hours I have to take them off. I tried to loosen them but I did it wasn't enough to make a difference. There is no arch in them and are more like a water shoe, I guess. They are not my go to shoe. I have to consider if I want my feet to be sore for a few days after wearing them a few hours. Disappointed.

I have so many complements on these, every time I wear them. Comfortable and with the style, I can use my discreet orthotics which give me even more arch support. I have them in pink/coral as well as this turquoise color.

Peculiar fit - feels as though abnormal ridge in outer foot that hurts after awhile - I ordered 2 pair and will keep blue ones. Not as comfortable as other Keens but love the way they look.

These bright espadrilles, Zappo-style, cause quite a stir wherever I wear them! Very comfy too and they'll soon be traveling to Peru with me!

I had high hopes for these shoes. But the soles are pretty flat, with not only little arch support, but very little cushioning. I felt as if I was walking barefoot. I also had no support on the front half of my foot. All of the "hold" on the shoe is up at the top of the shoe. I'm sad.

I just received my pair yesterday and am a fab of other types of Keen shoes and sandals. These were comfortable right out of the box which is unusual for me as I have a slightly narrow foot. I wore them walking downtown in Chicago last night and they remained comfortable all night. Neat looking. Glad I purchased.

This is a great sandal for hot weather as it allows ventilation while still protecting your toes. It does run small -- I would order a half size or even a full size larger than your normal size, particularly if your feet swell as mine do in hot weather.

Great look and comfy footbed. I like them more every time I wear them. I ordered half a size up and am happy with that. I can even run in these for a few minutes.

They are as comfortable as they look! Pretty true to size. My toes barely touch the front but with the stretchy material it's not bothersome by any means. My left foot needs an orthotic and with summer shoes and sandals that is difficult. I felt this shoe was adequate enough for me to wear without it.

I've been wanting a pair of summer sandal/shoes that I can go for long walks in. Something that has some support, but which I don't need socks with and which has lots of air passing through. Most sandals just don't have enough protection and most sneakers make my feet too hot. These looked like they might be a good solution, and they are but it took a bit for me to find the right size. Normally an 8.5 or a 9 at most, I needed these in a 9.5. The 9 fit, but I could tell that the "macrame" was going to be a problem for my big toe after a while. I've never worn a 9.5 in any shoe but decided to give them a try. Perfect. They're airy and comfortable. No more sweaty summer feet for me. Here's what everyone wants to know...Yesterday was my first day in these and I had a little rubbing away of skin on my middle toe (one foot only). I put a bandaid on and today decided to throw caution to the wind as I took a walk for an hour or so just to see how they felt. I figured an hour wasn't long enough to make me miserable if they were really uncomfortable but it was long enough to give these a good enough work out. So far so good. I was very very comfortable in them and absolutely no more skin rubbed off. The footbed feels very natural. I will update this review if anything changes. Now as for whether these are cute or ugly? I guess it's a little bit of both. I've decided to call these cute. You might have different ideas. They kind of look like what you might get if docksiders and huaraches got together and produced babies. in both the yellow and the blue. The blue was a bit too overwhelming for my taste. The yellow was on the edge enough without falling off. Bottom line: if, like me, you hate having hot feet but you like to walk and want more support and coverage than the average sandal, and you don't mind being a bit out there with your footwear, these are an excellent choice.

I usually wear half a size larger in Keen - these sandals are no exception. They are comfortable. The sole is slightly hard but not a problem. I like the looks and receive compliments on the sandals.

A bit tricky to put on but once on very comfortable. There is not much cushion or arch support but I still really like them. Great summer shoe and I get lots of compliments on its quirky style.

My normal size 9 fits perfectly. I think these shoes must be a little snug to be supportive. The arch is exactly the right height for a normally arched foot. They are easy to get on and off, with just slight adjustments to the strings. I love that they are light and airy. The men's size 7.5 is an exact equivalent to the women's size 9 as I ordered the 7.5 first but didn't love the colors. Zappos, as usual, credited my card as soon as the return reached them. The greatest place to buy shoes. You can't go wrong with free shipping both ways!

I have easy to fit feet, and this is the very first shoe in my 73 years that doesn't fit well. Glad I didn't wear them outside. The foot doesn't slide under the cords and makes it very uncomfortable.

I love these shoes and get many compliments on them. They fit great and are comfortable even when walking all day. And they look so cool! Keen comes through for me again.

I saw the Keen Uneek and loved the concept. The bungee cording gives a solid fit. As I wear a size 9 in my shoes, I found the Uneek ran a half size too small. Zappos was great and exchanged them. The shoes have been a solid fit and are very comfortable.

I wear a size nine and my feet are a little wider than average after having children, but usually that doesn't warrant ordering a special size. I loved these shoes conceptually, but after wearing them for 5 minutes I noticed an uncomfortable rub on the top of my foot. I'm sure if I had kept wearing them I would have had a blister or more significant abrasion. For that reason, I sent them back.

Runs very small. I'm a size 10 but it is really short and tight. I love the shoe so I will try an 11 when it gets restocked.

These sandals fit true to size, but after wearing them for a few hours I had blisters on the top of my toes from where the rope was rubbing. They have very little arch support and are not comfortable if you plan to be on your feet a lot. If I could, I would return them, but I wore them outside.

Love these! Super comfy -- but beware the footbed is made of different material than regular Keens. Feels different and makes me a bit sweaty/sticky, but otherwise they feel good and look great -- I've gotten compliments on them!
