Cute and casual, definitely not a long distance walking shoe, but a step up from Converse or Vans.

Really comfortable, about as much as an athletic shoe! I have had an old grey fabric pair that were great, so I got the blue for variety. They sort of have a unisex look. Ahnu is high quality, have had shoes and boots last a long time through several seasons and weather.

Cute shoe but the foot bed is really hard and I wear cushy Belega socks. Did not think these would be good to be on my feet all day.

Awesome shoe for going out! They're pretty comfortable, although I wouldn't wear these shoes if walking a couple of miles or more. I do love the classic look of these shoes, though! I get compliments on these shoes all the time.

I liked everything about these except that I couldn't put my custom orthotic in them. The insoles come out but the footbed has a built-in arch support.

These are good looking shoes. They do look great with jeans, and are nice enough to wear with nice casual. Immediately out of the box they felt comfortable, but there are a couple quirks. First, the arch support is really high. I have a fairly high arch, and I can feel this lump under my arch. It doesn't hurt, but it's not the most comfortable and you definitely wouldn't want these shoes if you are flat footed. Second, though the shoes are really comfortable, they don't have nearly enough cushion for me. I walked a few miles in them the first day and my feet were hurting by the end. You can pull out the insoles and replace them though, and I'm sure these would be really comfortable if you did that. The upper part of the shoe is a nice soft leather and is really comfy.

shoe looks great, I was excited to own. I wear the size 11 M. I put a running sock on and then the shoe, it felt great. After 30 minutes of wearing around the house my left foot was aching as if it had no arch support or the arch was in the wrong place. Sadly, I must return these.

These shoes came up high on the ankle for me. I prefer the fit and look of ECCO Chase II Tie. I bought and kept the ECCOs in marine.

I really like these shoes, it is my first pair of Ahnu. I ordered 4 different brands of sneakers and these were the most comfortable but they felt a half size larger than the other shoes. I wish I had exchanged them for a half size smaller but I have now worn them and can't. I suggest if you are unsure order both your regular size and down a half size.

I love the style of these shoes! I found them to be cut high and bumping into my ankle bones on the outside, I followed the advice of another reviewer and added small heel lifts under the soles and that took care of the problem. I ordered up a half size and still found the toe box to be a bit snug. I am a size 8 medium. I will keep them but they definitely aren't long distance walking shoes for my feet anyway.

I had such high hopes for these shoes due to other reviewers. They are super cute but wern't as comfortable for my difficult foot. If you do order them, try half a size smaller or even a full size!

I have horrible feet that require extra support and cushioning so I can't wear Vans or Converse, although I really like the style. These met in the middle and have style and support, so I'm keeping them! The only thing I have noticed about Ahnu shoes is that they run narrower midfoot than the sandals. I hope they will fix this so I can wear their hiking boots. I'm living with my mid-foot hanging slightly over on these shoes, because I know there won't be any heavy duty walking in them and it will be okay.

I was a little disappointed with the shoe. They look cool. But weren't that comfortable. Arch support wasn't really there. I feel like Ahnu quality is just not what it used to be. Also they weren't as wide as I thought they would be. Returning.

I liked the retro look of these sneakers. I'm a big fan of Ahnus for comfort and support. These sneakers are not as supportive as the slip on Ahnus that I have but I like the canvas look but the material is leather. If there is better arch support, these would get 5 stars.

These are cute and comfortable sneakers. They have a skateboard vibe. However, I am giving them 4 stars because I tried several pairs to get the right fit. I tried two pairs that were allegedly a 7.5, but one pair, in the grey "Goat" color, were huge, whereas the other, in the "Deep Hyacinth," were much more true to size. I also tried the "Goat" in a 7 and they were tiny. I don't understand why the sizing is so irregular. I like the purple-blue, and kept them, but would have liked the grey as well had they fit.

I was on the hunt for a sneaker that would look cute with jeans and other non-work out clothes. In other words, I wanted a comfortable walking shoe to wear around town other than the ones I wear to the gym. These are cute and stylish and pretty comfortable. They do run a little big. 95% of the time, I'm a solid size 7, but had to exchange them for a 6 1/2. Perfect!

These are such fun looking shoes. They're a bit heavy and perhaps clunky sounding (not looking), but seem very sturdy and fairly supportive. They seem like they'll hold up for quite a while. The red is surprisingly easy to pair with just about any casual outfit and adds a fun pop of color. The insole comes out and allows just enough room for my own insole. The only fit problem I've noticed is that in spite of them being the correct size, the right shoe slips on my heel a bit when I walk-even thought that's my bigger foot. They were't exactly inexpensive, so I haven't decided whether to keep them yet or not due to the weight and the slipping.

This is a great shoe. It's really unique looking and it is sophisticated but still fresh. They come with optional grey shoe strings. The flex on this shoe is great and it as a firm footbed. The very stiff arch support pushed into the tendon, unfortunately, and that made these unwearable. I tried a different foot bed, but I found that the sole underneath is solid, so the arch does not give at all.

Interesting casual look to this shoe. It does indeed look like a textured fabric. Was pretty comfortable with decent arch support but I returned it because I need a more narrow shoe and had hoped this Medium would run narrow--but it's more true to width.

Good shoe for my needs. I have to fit a full orthotic for walking longer durations and this works just as good as my runners. Has a thick footbed that pops out and has lots of depth to fit the custom orthotic. They are a little stiff but have the look I want, so I hope they loosen up a bit with time.

Cute shoes but there is a strange ridge just behind the arch where the heel drops down. Very uncomfortable and does not look like it would break in. Too bad, because they are nice shoes.

I bought these shoes just before a trip to Ireland, knowing that I would need comfortable, waterproof shoes. It took two tries to get the right size. I usually wear a size 9 but in this shoe I needed to exchange to an 8.5. It is a comfortable, nice looking shoe but I would not recommend it for more than light walking because the sole isn't quite supportive enough, in my opinion. Also, while pleasantly surprised that the description indicated that the shoe was waterproof, I found that even though I'd added an additional layer of waterproofing it was not waterproof. One walk in wet grass in Ireland and my feet and shoes were wet. It took a couple of days to get the dried out in the damp, Irish climate.

This Noe Leather sneaker in 8 1/2 is very nice and I sure would like to have it. Must return because it is too large all around. Deep footbed would accommodate a full foot, or a thick orthotic. An 8 would be too short. The arch is great for a high arch like mine. The heel area and toe box are very roomy and it is a good looking shoe. Wish I could keep it. I have the Ahnu Sugarpine in 8 1/2 and it is a perfect fit. Will soon order the Sugarpine mesh for warm weather.

I liked the look and construction of the shoes but the the fit did not work for me. The arch hit my foot in the wrong place and was very uncomfortable.

So sad these shoes won't work for me but they are too tall -- the tongue comes up so high on my foot it restricts my range of motion. They were otherwise very comfortable and were really attractive.
