The fit is a little funny - 6 was too small, 8 is a little too big (I am 5'2" and about 120), and the hem has a little "flip" at the side, which, for those of us with hips, isn't really flattering. They are long enough so that I am going to hem the flip out of them, but they are comfortable and the fabric is soft.

Not sure what's going on with the other reviews, but I'm normally a size 8/medium, and these fit me perfectly. They're flattering in the top, but the length isn't super attractive on my middle aged legs. That's not the fault of the shorts -- it's my legs. I like them a lot and am keeping them.

These are really cute board shorts but they didn’t fit and I had to return. I am 5’3” and 185 lbs and kind of curvy all over. I usually fit easily in a 14/16 or petite large from Eddie Bauer and JJill so I was hoping the xl would fit. Unfortunately they were way too tight.

The color is not aqua, it is bright kelley green. Not a hint of turquoise. The crotch is a little short to sit at waist properly. Sadly, had to return.

I am 5'2" and I normally wear a size 10. I ordered in size medium and they were way too tight. I had to return. Not flattering to me at all and certainly not big.

I ordered a size down based on other review - I have longer legs and usually wear 12/L in Prana. They definitely do not run large - I could put on the medium but that was not comfortable (and I like fitted clothing). There is a pretty solid adjustable drawstring and Velcro.
