I really wanted to love this shoe but it did not serve my purpose. I was looking for a shoe that I could wear for weight lifting, but also for cardio warm-ups. I need a shoe that will transition from 30 minutes of cardio to weightlifting and TRX. This was not it. This shoe worked well for weight lifting, although it felt loose around my arch and uncle (even in a smaller size). The toe box is nice and roomy and positions your foot flat and kept my balance in my heels. I loved the black/magenta color, as I prefer a black shoe to make feet look smaller, stay cleaner longer, and coordinate with my pants. The pop of color matched most everything so it was the best of both worlds. I tried out numerous exercises (descending order of comfort): Weight-lifting: Good, good toe box room, flat foot positioning helped keep weight in my heels. TRX: Good, flexible with medial support Rowing, Bike, & Stair climber: fair, although more cushioning wold have felt better on the treadmill Eliptical: poor; my feet started to go numb Running: bad. The shoe literally did not bend, causing a stomping motion more than a natural heal to toe motion. My feel ached after less than one mile. I felt like I could not lace up enough to get a feeling of support, which was a problem during sprints. If your workouts will not include running or the eliptical, you may love this shoe. Unfortunately my hunt continues...

Let me start by saying that these shoes are not intended for walking or running long distances, and are made for cross training where lateral support is important. I bought these shoes for aerobic exercise and they are perfect for HIIT and Zumba type workouts. They have a low sole with minimal differential from heel to toe which means you'll be more stable on the floor as you move side to side or hop/jump. They also have no arch support, and very little cushioning under foot. I made the mistake of trying to wear running shoes when doing these workouts, but running shoes are only made for moving in one direction, to propel you forward, and cushion heel landings (imagine that). That made my foot shift around inside my shoes and it was hard to keep my balance when necessary. These shoes feel totally different and hold my feet tight inside and flat on the floor which made my workout so much more enjoyable. No more hot spots on my feet from sliding around! Not to mention, the colors for these are so cool! I bought the black with magenta, purple, and orange tape stripes and they look even more vibrant and unique in person. One thing to note though, I'm finding that in New Balances I have to go with a wide width because these mediums felt too snug on my medium/widish forefoot/toe box area. The length was spot on though, as I'm an 8 in most shoes and an 8D was perfect in these. You'll love these for your next workout!

I love the low cut, sleek styling of this shoe. However, there is not much arch support. It has the "Cush" insole, it didn't feel cushy at all in the toe box. I typically wear a size 6W in athletic shoes but my toes bump the end of this shoe and it isn't as wide as my Asics wide athletic shoes. Unfortunately, this shoe doesn't work for my feet and I will return it.

I typically wear a size 9 in New Balance sneaker and these fit true to size. I really like them, they are comfortable and I've already used mine in a Cardio Bosu class and weight training classes. They do the job.

These sneakers are THE most comfortable sneakers I have had in years! The footbed is so cushiony, feeling like gel inserts. They do run a bit small, I purchased a 1/2 size up.

Perfect for the classes I take at the gym. Borderline too narrow but it'll work for me. Not sure I love the tongue- it's sewed completed in on one side, but I will likely get used to it.

I am not a runner so I do not a clue how these shoes would hold up on the open road but I can tell you for weight training and cross fit work outs they are great. Bonus: compliment-inducing cute as well.

New Balance for the win! Again!! I've owned several pairs of New Balance walking/running shoes and decided I'd try them for cross trainers. I've been wearing them during circuit training workouts for 2 weeks now and love them. Comfortable, supportive and good looking.

I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. These sneakers are comfortable, light and fun especially the pink and navy color. I have wide feet and as always New Balance fits perfectly.

These are terrific shoes. I waited several weeks to really get to know these sneakers before I reviewed them. They work great for my work out. Elliptical first then free weights and floor work. I enjoy exercise DVDs and these shoes are great for my varied workouts. I echo some previous reviewers in that these shoes can handle the side to side motion very well with some arch support.

These shoes look great and are lightweight and comfortable. Good for exercise and stylish enough for daily wear. Having the tongue sewn to one side is a little weird, but not a big deal.

These fit well with my orthotics. I bought a pair a half size larger than I usually wear. I wish the shoe last was posted for all shoes. It would save me ordering and returning. I need the wider toe box.

These cross trainers allow for stability and mobility. I typically wear a size 6B and the fit was perfect. I am a group exercise instructor who teaches up to 13 classes a week, so great shoes are critical. If you have foot problems you might want to find a cross trainer with more arch support. Great shoes for cross training with Zumba Strength Training etc. These shoes would not be great for runners. I am totally happy with my purchase.

Just received the pair I ordered. Not sure I'm going to keep them because---although it says they are BLACK and PINK, they are really DARK NAVY BLUE and PINK---I always wear black workout clothes so I am really disappointed that these do NOT match and are NOT as described. Haven't tried them on yet.

Love these for training and fitness classes. Very functional and look good, too. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5, if shoe runs small. The 7.5 fits perfect.

Fearful of over-pinking my already weird wardrobe, I bought these. They are unlike any other athletic shoes in terms of fit and especially because I have hot feet that really want to be free. The tongue is minimal too which is preferable. I want to feel the earth beneath my feet yet have some structure for those aging feet. These work well, and the next day delivery shocked me. I ordered them while waiting for a tardy doctor the previous day! So I'm promoting the Susan Komen charity without knowing it. I waited for an alternate color for so long that I could no longer hang on.

I am a runner that has taken up cross training and group fitness classes (Body Combat and Body Pump). I was wearing running shoes (Brooks Pure Connect, minimal style) and found that the lateral movement in the classes were a challenge because my feet were rolling from side to side. These have a flat sole that are perfect for cross training. The KT tape technology on the side offer great stability and keep my feet from rolling side to side. I wear a size 11 and this is a generous 11 without being too big. Highly recommend for runners that want a cross training shoe.

I saw these on Pinterest and loved the colors! While I am not a sporty person, after I put these on I did feel like going for a run and felt very energized. I also like that they are a little wider on the foot. Some tennis shoes make my feet feel really long, and these seemed to balance that out quite nicely. Overall, I'm very happy!

Absolutely great for walking around. My feet are wide and use a custom orthotic and my feet feel great in the shoes. I normally wear an eight in athletic shoes, and an 8 1/2 in this was perfect.

This is a beautiful and comfortable shoe, but with weird construction. I've never had a shoe that had the tongue sewn to one side. I also found that it was not as wide as I thought it would be, but I actually cut the side that was sewn down and adjusting the tongue helped the fit. I really like them so far; I've worn them a few times to the gym while weightlifting and running on the treadmill.

I broke out of my "usual white shoes" mold and ordered these for something different. I love them! I bought them based on a review I had read about them being a good walking shoe. The sole is different on these, more flexible I guess, made me feel like I was almost barefoot. I wear orthotics which fit into the shoes nicely and I get all the support I need. Some reviewers complained about the tongue only being attached on one side. I find this a nice feature and thought why hasn't someone done this sooner! I'm very happy with this shoe and I would buy them again.
