I received this shoe in a 6 1/2 inch wide and it is perfect. The tongue did not separate as other reviewers stated. I did lace up sort of tight near my ankle because I have a wide foot near my toes. Hope this helps other potential buyers. As always love Zappos!

These shoes remind me of my son's old skater shoes, the flat soles, the rounded toe, the stripes. I'm not using them for athletics, but rather as casual shoes, about town, for erreands, casual lunches, etc. And I love them! They get many compliments!

Very cute design-get nany compliments! Only flaw so far is that they are very stiff and hard to get on, tongue is sewed on one side, which is odd.

These are a very lightweight, cushy and comfy shoe that would be perfect for running around. But for me there wasn't enough structure or support to rely on them for for body toning workouts or weight training. I am a New Balance fan, so I know there is another style for me. They do run small in general. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and always buy 8 1/2 or 9 in New Balance.

These are really low profile, super cute athletic shoes. I was originally looking for shoes with a lot of cushion and support since I am on my feet all day. These did not really do that for me but I kept them for everyday use. I really like that they are not bulky like most athletic shoes and give me a more streamlined look. Mine feel a little small but maybe I just ordered the wrong size. I usually wear an 8½ but I may need a 9 in this brand.

I love how these shoes feel. They're lower to the ground than traditional shoes. They're like Converse, but without the thick rubber sole. These shoes do not offer ample cushioning or arch support. I was able to add additional arch support with an insole. According to the New Balance website, they're advertised as shoes with a Minimalist feel. These feel exactly like traditional athletic shoes transformed into Minimalist shoes. I plan to wear these shoes for daily activities, which seems adequate. I normally wear a size 10.5 in New Balance, but I sized up to an 11 so that I could have some wiggle room. I also had to order a Wide because the Medium felt slightly Narrow. (Note: I actually have huge and wide feet. Normally I do not have to adjust for New Balance shoes.)

The tongue sewn on one side is a little odd, but after wearing them a few times, I don't notice it anymore. These are comfortable with moderate support. I got them for dance fitness and Zumba classes and they work great. The inside ankle area is cut a little high and rubs, but seems to be better after wearing them a few times. Like most New Balances, I feel these probably run a little wide as my foot is somewhere between a regular and wide and these fit perfectly.

These are pretty comfortable shoes. I needed training shoes for crosstraining videos, with lots of lateral lunges, plyo, mixed marital arts, weightlifting, a variety of exercises. I was using the Adidas Running Energy Boost shoe and really the only running I did was in place. But moving side to side in those was awful, I kept spinning out and off the sole. But I love the mesh uppers, it feels great because I have bunions. So I found these New Balances at a shop and the 10M was just a little too narrow, I could feel the edges of the sole on my feet. So I ordered the 10W, and it is fit great. The sewing inside the shoe is a little complicated, I do not know why they thought sewing in the tongue on one side was necessary, but there's a lot of overlapping fabric and seams. Wearing them around the house, I could feel this on the top of my foot and was ready to send them back. But here is the thing: for lateral moves, these sneaks are king. The Fantom Tape around the balls and arches of the foot really make a difference, holding my foot in place in the middle of high energy moves. Even the soles of the shoes, the ribs are long-ways, providing lots of grip. And after one workout, the screwy seaming didn't feel so noticeable anymore. Now they are just great! The only thing that I would change is there is not a lot of protection around the toes, and my toes get beat up against the mat, like during power yoga, or back lunges when they are pushed up in to the front of the shoe. But otherwise, I am glad I got them. Such a great deal, too!

Super light weight and really cute shows. The wide runs a little narrow, but its fine because it is a mesh shoe. It has very little arch support, but I have an orthotic.

I loved how these looked and was happy to try them out but they just didn't have enough comfort or support. First I thought I was imagining it but after wearing it for about an hour it really just wasn't making it. Back they went.

These sneakers are super cute and at first felt really comfortable but I think the foam makes them really hot and after trying them around my house for a bit the sides of my feet ache.

Great looking shoe but I got a wide width and it was not nearly wide enough to fit so I can't comment on anything else. I have another pair of size 6 1/2 wide width New Balance shoes that are about 8 years old and were a perfect fit right out of the box and still are. Seems NB is manufacturing to a different standard these days. Very disappointing.

Shoe is very lightweight, and the wide width was comfortable for my medium to wide feet. The toe box seemed a little shallow which made the shoe feel almost short but I don't think I needed to size up. My biggest issue, and the reason I'm returning them, is that there is no arch support at all. Most of the cushioning seemed to be under the ball of my foot. I know these are trainers and I shouldn't expect as much cushion as my running shoes, but I didn't want to invest more money in fancy insoles for a shoe I'd basically use for walking around town.

Fun design. Black background was also appealing. The tongue of the sneaker is sown into one side, as another reviewer had mentioned. When you put the sneaker on and tie it, the tongue leaves a gap, making it unattractive. Rating Style a 1, because of the separation of the tongue on one side from the body of the shoe.

I bought these in a wide width. Although I liked the shoe, I returned it because I didn't like how one side of the tongue was attached all the way up the sneaker, and the other side was left detached. This created a gap on one side where you can see your sock! I liked the style/color and they were comfortable other than that one detail that ruined it for me. I don't think that style tongue (attached on one side) is good for a wide width foot if it leaves a gap on the other side.

Very narrow and small. Cannot imagine how these are wide width. Keeping the Rykas I ordered at the same time. Much cushier.

The shoe looks good but I am returning it. I have bunions and the interior is rough and uncomfortable. I did not give me enough support and will order a heavier shoe. I have worm NB for a long time and hope to find a NB model that will work.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they run small and also narrow. I tried them in the wide (size D) and that was not any wider than the normal B width. It is too bad as they are cute shoes.

Not much nice to say about these. Shoelaces don't even glide through to tighten easily. Particularly don't care for the way the tongue is attached on one side. With a wide foot, this makes the shoe look like a very poor fit.

Very disappointed in the sizing. It felt like it was one size to small and the width felt a medium and not a wide. I ordered wide so I could put in an arch support.
