I am very pleased withe the New Balance 813s. They are comforably fitting, and good quality for a good price. The only minor issue is that because they use velcro straps instead of laces, the tonge of the shoe has a tendency to push down into the shoe over time, making it a bit uncomfortable. There could have been a simple fix to this problem by adding a small strip of velcro to the top of the tonge, thereby holding it in place with the same velcro strap.

I wear the NB shoes because I have to wear ankle and foot orthotics on both legs and the easy fastening of this model make them my only footwear.

The 813 shoes have great support and I use a 4E width. The width identified in your app were x and xx wide with no cross-reference so I ordered xx. That ended up being 6E. I missed a extra discount and am waiting for money back.

Very comfortable shoes.

I bought the Wide size, unfortunately but It's run smaller every time!

I wear everyday my problem is they're too narrow my fault not New Balances fault

Been wearing new balance almost exclusively since the late 70s. Great shoes! Wear size 10 6e width so my selection is usually maybe 8 pairs and very limited color options. Have been recommending new balance to friends and family and anyone else I ran across. Durability of stitching is a problem for me and all I do is walk in them. Have tried dozens of different styles through the years,sometimes sacrificing width for style. Thank you for your wonderful shoes.

I kept this although after a week the shoe gotten loose a bit. But great shoe nice feel all day in the shoe with no pain. Usually I buy running shoe for work but it is good to buy walking shoe if you work on your feet all day. Big difference for sure

Shoe is 'solid'. Cushioned walk. Quality upper leather, a little warm walking, could have better ventilation.

Shoe has good support and is comfortable. Shoe seems to run a little small though.

As with a most NB shoes they seem very well made but it's not like they last a long time. Only had them a week. So I'm giving them 4 stars These are not the most elegant looking shoes, a bit "old man" looking, a little more styling would help but not too bad.

Just wish they came the same style velcro but in brown suede color.

I work in a nursing home in the maintenance department. I wear a size 16N. Not many shoes in that size. I like the 318's because they do not have the sole that wraps around the toe (the first thing to come loose on most shoes). The 318's are easy to clean or keep clean. They are comfortable for all day walking on concrete floors. I personally feel the shoes could use a little more cushion under foot.

I do appreciate the quality, but I think the price is high for this style. I suspect that it's not a huge seller because of the look; but I need support. I bought for comfort.

These are very comfortable and fit just right. My previous shoes were the Nike Monarch IV walking shoes. They fit well too. What I liked about the Nike's was that each shoe had a loop on the back which made it easy to pull the shoe on each foot (Picture of Nike shoe attached). I wish my New Balance had the loop on each shoe. What I hated about the Nike's is they don't last. The front of the soles became unglued just after 3 years of light to normal use. I hope these New Balance hold up longer. I've had New Balance shoes in the past and they lasted a long time. The second thing I hate about Nike is that their shoes are not made in America.
