I purchase a pair of these every 6 months for my husband. He walks every day and has for years and thus his shoes wear out. I started him on the 812s and then these when the 812s were discontinued. He loves them. He wears a 9D and these shoes are true to his size. He says they are ultra comfortable as he logs his miles. I gave the shoe moderate arch support because he removes the inner support and replaces it with custom orthotics. He finds that there is plenty of room in the shoe box, even with the orthotics. He could not be happier.

My husband wears a 15 4E. He orders these over and over again. He's bought them elsewhere in the past but this time they didn't offer the real wide width. I said "Baby, let's try Zappos!" Sure enough, Zappos had 'em, at a great price. We got them the next day! Now he's a Zappos convert!

Bought these because my Dr. said my old ones were wo' out. My orthotics fit perfectly. These are quite a lot better than the cheaper walkers Better sole and toe box. I know I downgraded the style but you do not buy this particular shoe for style.

Excellent shoes for me as I do a lot of walking around during the day. They feel good and look good for everyday use.

Love these shoes! Bought them for doing some walking in Florence, Italy (I'm there now), and have nothing bad to say. Feet feel fine after alot of walking. Used them before in NYC, walking alot there too. The only thing I can say is the tongue goes in a little when I put them on, but that is such a tiny problem when compared to the comfort, I wouldn't use it as a real issue whatsoever. They seem to wear well, so far, tho I haven't had them that long. They do what they are supposed to, so ... there you are. Received them fast enough. Packaging was fine, and had no problems with the shoes right out of the box.

I needed the 6E width for a medical condition which causes edema in my feet. These shoes are wide enough and very comfortable too.

I was very happy to find New Balance sneakers with rounded toes. I used to get New Balance 928 style, but New Balance changed the toe box in the V2 and V3 iterations to make it more pointed so it doesn't work for me any more. I historically have gotten men's New Balance size 8 6E. I am a woman with short wide feet with short toes and size 8 is typically too long, but needed to get the correct width. This pair of shoes is too long as usual, but the width is good, so I am going to try a smaller size in the hopes that the width doesn't shrink as the length goes down.

This is a great shoe for me. I bought the Brown/Brown and they felt sooooo good, I bought the Black/Black and highly recommend this shoe.

Love this shoe, very comfortable. Supports my foot well. Exactly what I was looking for. As important this was my first Zappos purchase. Everyone I spoke with was enthusiastic and helpful. Great customer service. I will be back to order more. Thank you Zappos.

I am very happy with these shoes. Perfect for work. Comfortable enough to wear all day. Chose this item because available in extra wide size, and I was not disappointed.

This is my favorite New Balance work shoe. I don't know why I ever try anything else, I always come back to this one. Decent style, great fit, wears well. Doesn't look like an old man shoe, so I can wear it out after work if necessary. I am on my feet over 8 hours a day and walk a lot and these held up well for over 6 months which is a long time for me and shoes.
