Had always purchased the 928v3 hook and loop shoe which is much more expensive than the 813 hook and loop. It turns out that I like the 813 even more than the 928v3 as it's just as comfortable and even lighter. Just wish the 813 came in tan but it only comes in white, black and grey. The 928v3 does come in tan but I don't see where it's worth the extra $50.

I am having some foot and leg problems with aging. It was recommended I look into some more comfortable foot wear, as I have wore leather tie-up shoes my entire working years. New Balance was recommended, and I sought out a shoe store that sold the product, went and got fitted and made a purchase, along with supports. What a great change and some relief from foot and leg cramps. As winter came on I need foot wear to better stand Illinois winters. Went on-line, knowing my size needs, made a purchase and am continuing my improvement. Great footwear!

No "break-in" period needed. Wonderful shoe, light weight, but solid construction.

I have two pairs of these shoes, purchased 6 months apart. I hear the oldest ones on a daily basis and the newer pair for work. My only gripe is that you no longer tell which shoes are the SL-2 for high arches. At least I can search for the option to see what is available.

These are great shoes. I've been buying a pair each of the last few years. I wear them every day, they are comfortable and last a long time.

I've been desperate to find a pair of shoes with velcro fasteners, since I've lost the strength in my left hand to tie shoelaces. These shoes are a breeze to put on, and are as comfortable as one could ask for.

This shoe fit's perfect! I have had problems with my very wide feet, most of my life. To find a pair of XXX wide shoes that fits, to me is great!

I use these shoes for my work as a surgery nurse. They have always been a good shoe.

A great shoe for general everyday use. The "Rollbar" sole is very helpful in maintaining my balance.

Hubby says they run large but great for standing on his feet at work all night so definitely recommend!!

My husband's favorite shoe. This is his third pair purchased of this style.

I am an amputee with a very wide natural foot, so I buy this shoe in men's sizes to accommodate my remaining foot. It is very comfortable and can go out to dinner or church with dressy pants as well. The hook and loop closure also helps for getting dressed or easy removal.

FIts well, looks a but clunky but it is comfortable.and with my bad back it is easy to get on.

I use this purchase every day. I may purchase this shoe in a different color

I love the rollbar and the fit of these shoes. I use a 6E and would love to buy the no tie version, but they don't make it in a 6E. Please start making it in a 6E. Great shoes at a great price.

I have problems tying laces and the hook and loop makes it easier at my age and physical condition. New Balance is the only shoe company to offer these in my large size. I will keep ordering them as long as they offer them because they are very comfortable.

I've worn this sneaker for 6 years now. I am diabetic and the adjustable strap accommodates swelling, especially for a wide foot. Due to neuropathy, I have difficulty with laces, so the Velcro strap works best. Keep making them, I'll keep purchasing them.

Great walking shoes. The only suggestion I would make would be to try to lighten them. They are just a little too heavy.

I USE THESE FOR WALKING EACH DAY ABOUT 4 MILES. VERY COMFORTABLE AND EASY TO "TIE" WITH THE HOOK AND LOOP. ALSO SAFER!!! NEW BALANCE A GOOD COMPANY FOR ME OVER THE PAST TEN YEARS OR SO.
