I was completely surprised, I never wore a pair of walking shoes so comfortable from New Balance. I cannot begin to explain the experience. I been buying the 577 for years and the last pair put my left foot in pair. The amount of holes is less than the typical sneaker (walking shoe), and the tongue is much longer than any shoe I have worn in the past. I like the long tongue feature. I love everything about this shoe. It is like walking on a cloud.

Feels and seems like a great quality sneaker. Bought for my autistic brother for easy on / off. He has flat feet and this insole seems very supportive. Hoping it lasts for awhile . True to size.

I use the shoe for everyday wear or going for my walk. You can wear this sneak with casual or athletic clothes and it will get the job done. Very nice looking and feeling shoe, I have another pair of a different style but would buy this again.

I love these shoes. They were purchased to replace a pair of New Balance shoes that were badly worn on the back part of the heels. When the new pair wear out I will likely buy another pair of New Balance shoes.

My husband has a large, square shaped foot. He requires a square toe shoe with lots of room for his toes. New Balance is one of the very few shoe makers who provide such a shoe! I thank you, his feet thank you!!

I have been wearing only this shoe for years, rotating between 3 pairs each day, but was having trouble finding them in my size and width. When I discovered Zappos had the 813 in my size and width I bought 3 pairs. I wear orthotics and need a removable inner sole which 813 has. I love this shoe.

Either I bought a different NB shoe in the past or this one is a bit narrower. The inside seem near the big toe knuckles has caused a blister and even with the use of some mole skin to protect my foot, it still causes some irritation. They are starting to break in now that I have 25-30 miles on them but still irritate the spot. The sole is much more durable compared to other "walking" shoes. Just be prepared to protect any hotspots you develop or look into a wider option. I'm typically a 13w or 14m but these 14m are a little to narrow.

I bought my first pair of New Balance running shoes in 1981 at the factory store. They were called the Cadillacs.
My stepfather is also a fan of New Balance. He's 90 years old, and the NB walking shoes have the 6E wide for his flat feet. He's loves them.

We tried these shoes on in a store, but were not available in size and color we wanted. They said they could not order them. We were able to order them online and arrived in a few days. Very satisfied.
