Best brand, screams quality and value.

I use this backpack for school & it helps so much. There are so many compartments & the laptop compartment has a soft material inside so it doesn't scratch! It's also padded. I can already tell this backpack will last me a longggg time, I love it!

So much easier for me to carry my books around campus.

This is a really great backpack. I'm so glad I got it because it's super comfortable and it has a lot of space to put books in and your laptop (I have a MacBook Air) so it fits perfectly! There are a lot of pockets for you to organize your pencils and pens and other stuff which is a plus because I like being organized. I feel that this is a light-weight backpack so easy to carry around. Would definitely buy again for a gift!

Just bought this backpack in the all black color. Straps are extremely comfortable but a little stiff, allowing greater support. Wasn't sure if I should get this one or the Recon backpack which runs slightly bigger in width. I'm so glad I chose the Borealis backpack. Perfect size and looks very cute!!

I literally love this backpack! It's my favorite one out of all the years I've been buying North Face backpacks. If I could figure out how I would use 10 more of this style, I would buy 10 more! I'd say the ONLY con is that there are one too many straps on the back side of the backpack. I'm not a fan of the lower one that's supposed to go around my abdomen. But, it's still an amazing bag. I am absolutely obsessed.

So I heard complaints about how the previous title of the borealis was better than this one. However, I have to wholeheartedly disagree. This backpack is so much better! The material is nicer and I can carry more stuff without the load hurting my back as much as the other borealis did. It's definitely improved. The shape is also a lot better. I found that with my other borealis, it would jutt out at the bottom and look awkward. The compartments also seem a lot roomier and are easier to access. I'm a college student and it's great for organization and it looks appealing to the eye as well. I also like the material better, I've worn it in the rain and water didn't seep through at all. The run down: love it, I would definitely buy again

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it, says it holds a lot of stuff. I like the color scheme.

I had the same bookbag with no support. I finally invested in a north face because I heard it was all the rage. Little did I know this would relieve my back, carry everything I need, and protect everything inside. Best investment of college

Love this backpack. Excellent quality and functional design. Really happy with the blue color; it's not too dark or too light; it's a mature blue. I expect to have this for many years. The padding on the back cushions the backpack without adding too much weight. My 15.6 inch laptop fits, although it is a little tight. But, I expected that.

Good size for what I needed to use for a work/school backpack. Not too big and bulky but enough storage for books, laptop, etc.

I purchased this backpack for my daughter for school. I originally did not think this was the ideal school backpack at first glance, it reminded me more of an outdoor hike type. However once my daughter opened it up and showed me all the organizational pockets in there I was immediately sold. What I loved the most was the two technology compartments; one for a tablet and one that fits your laptop. Since my main concern was protecting the laptop this is by far the best protection I have seen inside a backpack where it actually is "protected" it fits securely and does not move around. It is not big and bulky like most we have purchased in the past and is very comfortable to wear.

I am a college student, taking way too many classes and this bag is perfect to fit all my books without making the bag look huge or feel extremely heaand it's also very comfortable. It's totally worth the Money

I use my backpack for school and sometimes as a travel bag, I love it! It's very comfortable and it's so cute! Also, I'm very short and dislike large backpacks because they look HUGE on me, but this one does not make me look like a turtle.

Enough room to fit all of my textbooks but not big and bulky. The straps and back are extremely comfortbale and the design is flawless. I would say a negative comment but there isn't one. Worth every penny!

I bought this for college, to replace my laptop bag, and I'm so glad that I did! First off all, it has plenty of room for my laptop, books, and necessities, with pockets for everything. But, most importantly, it is very comfortable to carry, and my back feels so much better than it did using my previous bag. If you are looking for a college backpack that gets the job done, and is stylish to boot, get this!
