Love these but they run large. I usually wear an 8 but will have to exchange for a 6.

Cute and comfy. Glad I read the reviews though on sizing. I'm usually a 6 and ordered a 4. They fit but with room! I have a feeling a 2 would fit. Weird sizing.

They are a little baggy in the crotch. I also ordered them in Cinnamon and the Azul pair fit slightly smaller.

These shorts are great, super comfortable and they go with so many different things.

Great shorts- a little too short for me- I'm 5'9 and 50 yr old. Really want them in a 9 inch inseam. Gave them to my daughter. Size 8 fit true to size.

Love the shorts(I bought 2 pair), super comfy, but the size 4 is not the same size 4 as my other pair I ordered several years back. I accidentally washed them so I have kept them.

Really cute shorts. It's not everyday that you find corduroy shorts that are perfect for summer. The color is also a wonderful blue that will go well with any color. For reference, I'm 5'8", 118lbs and I got the size 2.

I have finally found THE perfect color summer short! I get so tired of jean shorts, and white ones get filthy so fast. Only complaint is that they run a full size too big. No way no how am I a size 2. I am a 4 or even 6 sometimes. And the 2 fits me perfectly. My friends are going to get so sick of seeing me in my Cinnamon shorts, ha!

I usually wear a 4 but had to wear a 2 in these shorts. Be sure to order down unless you like loose shorts.

These are very cute, soft, comfortable shorts that is the perfect inseam for someone who is short (5'2"). They are also age neutral, which means they would look just as good and appropriate on a 17 y/o as a 47 y/o. I'm impressed and can't wait to wear them. The only thing that concerns me is that some of the reviews I read said they stretch out.

These are some of the most comfortable and flattering shorts I've ever owned. I would have given them 5 stars if the color was as pictured on the website. Instead of a pale salmon-y pink, these are most definitely a much brighter orange-pink, leaning more towards the orange. I kept them because the fit is so great and got many compliments on a recent trip to Hawaii.

I tried a 6 and it was too tight, but I was swimming in the size 8! Several inches of space to spare.

These are cute, but are too big at the waist, perfect everywhere else.

I am more of an athletic build with bigger thighs than waist. That being said, I had to return the shorts because there was a huge gap at the back of the waist. I loved the softness of them and how they fit my legs!

I love the look of these shorts, so I read all the reviews and ordered a size down based on all the comments of how big they run. I could not even get them on. It was like I had ordered several sizes down. So I definitely recommend maybe ordering two sizes to compare if you are curvier. They were also a lot shorter than I expected, so not what I am looking for. But the colors are great and I wish they had worked for me!

Super cute but too big. I have never worn a 0 before, but I think I would have to with this company. I normally wear a 2/4. I did read the reviews and thought since I never have worn a 0 don't do it now, well no good because now sold out and have to pay to return items. Wish they would make clothes the normal size that you wear, so you can buy and wear right away. I would go small

Super cute, loved the color, however shorts ran very large- I'm 5'6- 116 pounds with small hips, the fit of the shorts were huge on me and size 2 is my normal size- size down and they should fit- item was returned- 3 stars for color and style- they are cute, such a bummer.

Absolutely loved the color however there wasn't any stretch in the fabric. Based on my sizing in another retailer I bought a size 4, should have bought a size 6. I paid for shipping and was disappointed i was going to have pay for return shipping for an exchange. Just returned them completely since I wasn't certain of the 6 would be comfortable. A little spandex could have gone a long way.

I'm not usually a review writer but I love these shorts - got them in Azul and Olive - however I had to buy a 2 because they don't make them in a 0 and they sort of hang on me. I am 5'6" and about 118 lbs. I wear them around the house and to work in the yard because they are so comfortable but I really wish Carve Designs would expand to a smaller size for us small hipped gals

The style and colors would be good for others but were horrible for me. I'm typically a size 2 but based on the comments, recommending that they run big and to order a size down, I ordered the 0. Even this size was too big and with the stretching indicated in comments, they would've ended up being at least 2 sizes too big. Vanity sizing is ridiculous. Pattern to size so that people can order their size!!! Beyond unhappy and only giving the 3 stars because the shorts could be great for others that aren't a size 2, or in this case....a -2?!

I like these shorts in theory but my big gripes are the fact that they are oversized, I bought the 0 and they are still too big. What does that make me, a negative 0?? I also think that 68$ for these shorts is ridiculous. I am desperate for shorts and thats why I bought them, and I do like the colors and the soft corduroy style.I just wish carve would ratchet up a bit in quality, for the money.

I love Carve design shorts I own several pairs from the past couple years. These are great and soo comfy but through a day of wear stretch out and become to big. I am 5'5" 130lbs and have the size 2. I have found that in any shorts I buy from Carve the XS/size 2 is a bit too big in the waist, but they are soo comfy. I wish Carve would make smaller sizes, which is why I am giving these three stars. If they fit better I would give them a five.

Although I loved the quality and color (lilac), they ran much too large. Please consider making a size 0. Not all of us outdoor lovers are amazon size. I'm a petite gal at 5'3", 100lbs. I wanted them to work because they truly are comfortable but at this price point, I couldn't justify paying the cost of tailoring to make them fit.
