These sandals are awesome, yes, they do run a size small, I usually wear a size 7 1/2 to an 8, these were too short, the 39 was perfect, great style, support, and comfort, yes, I recommend this shoe.

This is a very comfortable sandal that looks very good on the feet. I find that Mephisto's tend to run small. I ordered a size 11 and my US size is usually 9 1/2 to 10, depending on the style.

This is an awesome sandal with the best arch support I have yet to find in a sandal. These sandals are better looking in person, but they are walking, not fashion sandals. I am giving the 5 stars for style in the context that they are walking sandals. This sandal is replacing my Mephisto Parfolia. I liked those sandals, but these are much better. I am usually between a 37 and 38 in Mephisto, and the 38 fit perfectly. I am a size 7 in most brands.

Very comfortable but runs a size small. I normally wear a 39 and needed to order a 40 in this shoe. Looks nice on, too, for a comfort sandal. The pewter color is nice and very neutral.

I didn't want to love these sandals because they are so expensive but they are so darn comfortable, I'd sell my firstborn before I'd return them. They do run small so order a size up.

I love the shoes. The comfort. The ease of ordering and receiving the order. The ease of returns if needed. Great selection and style.

The color is very beautiful and matches the purse I was having trouble matching. It must be the poppy color for this season although the color for this shoe is "Strawberry". They're VERY comfortable and fit perfectly. I just love the quality of Mephisto. Since I live in Florida this is my "go to" shoe.

I loved these shoes but I am pretty much a true size 10 and these were about 1/2 inch too short. My toes came off the edge slightly so I had to return them! They did not have larger size so I am trying some others that comes in half sizes so I can go up to a 10.5.

These are gorgeous shoes, but I had to return them because the shoe hit my heel in the wrong place. It was hurt my to be in them for more than about an hour. I actually saw a dent in my foot! I'm sad because they're made beautifully otherwise.

I have bunions and problem feet that are so difficult to fit. I didn't want to like these - because they were so expensive. But OMG, they are awesome. Looks like I'm keeping them. So comfortable - and much classier than the average Mephisto style. Exactly what I needed.

These are wonderful shoes. I plan to purchase another pair. It's hard to describe how comfortable they are. I have difficult feet.

Cute and comfy. I had to go up to a 40 ( I normally wear a 9 US) but that one is great.

I have never had problems with the length of Mephisto before, but the 37 fits like a size 6, not a 6½-7. I am disappointed, but I otherwise liked the sandal.

This is a beautiful sandal. The nubuck leather is soft, the rubber sole seems as if it would be comfortable all day. The medium width is truly medium, not too wide as many other comfort sandals. I usually wear a 38 but ordered a 38 and a 39 because of warnings from other reviews and the 39 fit. However, I am sorry to say that I am returning these sandals because their is hardly any arch support, which means I would not be able to wear them to do any serious walking. It is a shame, I really like the look and feel of them but for the high price I need them to be perfect.

I really wanted these sandals to work. They are cute, a beautiful color and comfortable. Unfortunately, they are a bit too small and don't come in 1/2 sizes!

Shoes fit true to size but had no arch support. After wearing them for only 2 minutes I found that they caused pain in my heels which I don't typically have. If they didn't cause my heels to hurt. I still couldn't see myself wearing them as I felt like they were fit for a 65-year-old. All I could think of was geriatric shoes, which the online photos didn't give that vibe to me.

I am desperately looking for a pair of comfortable, supportive walking shoes to go to Europe. I bought these Mephisto's in a size 9 (I normally wear an 8.5 but it only comes in whole sizes). They really need an adjustable strap in the back. The left shoe, despite being slightly wide, is OK, the right back strap rubs on my ankle and there is no way to tighten it - as there is no back strap adjustment. The shoes are so much cuter than my clunky SAS's that I've worn to Europe for years. The Mephisto's have great arch support and are really attractive for long walks in Paris or on cobblestone hillsides in Provence. I just can't get the right shoe to keep from rubbing on my ankle bone so they're going back, sigh!

I really loved the look and feel of these sandals. I love Mephisto in general. However the velcro on the top strap over the toes of the left sandal kept getting undone. I wore it for a meeting ans was annoyed that my attention was on the sandal and not on the meeting. Very disappointed, but hopefully this was just a bad piece.

These are beautiful, attractive sandals, I wanted so badly to like them. They have moderate to good arch support, two way adjustment is great. But they rub a bit at the base of my big toe at the nail bed. And they really lack padding for the sole of the foot - no padding under ball of foot- at this price point, the sole should be much more comfortable. They have to go back. Felt a tiny bit smaller than size - I wear a size 8, purchased the 39 - that was a bit snug.

Unfortunately, this dainty for Mephisto sandal runs more than a full size smaller, and is narrower by a B with closer to A. If the shoe fits, I'd wear it as aesthetically one of Mephisto's truly prettier creations.

These shoes were recommended to me by a friend who loves the brand. I was looking for something comfortable with great arch support. I was really disappointed. I will say I also ordered the Mephisto flip-flop style (Helen) and found that to be excellent for support and style. This shoe just doesn't look great and it isn't comfortable enough to make up for that. The sole felt flimsy.

Comfort, cushioning and fit are good, but the strap buckles Mephisto used to use have been replaced by velcro closures that look clumsy and cheap, and do not allow for small adjustments. Also, the stiff leather is not beige, but a shiny silver-beige covered with big, shinier, silver polka dots, not an attractive look on any woman over the age of 4.

I have been wearing Mephisto shoes/sandals for over 20 years in a size 38/8. This is a beautiful sandal, but I was shocked and disappointed with the sizing of this style. This pair is at least one size too small/short and extremely narrow for a "medium" width. If this is Mephisto's new sizing, I guess my Mephisto days are over.
