Trying these on with the little shipping tissue paper wrapped around the top strap had me falling in love -- I own two other pair of Vionic sandals with a similar design (bought a couple years ago) and I was eager to add another pair -- but then I took the paper off to expose the decoration and realized the little gold circle closest to my toes dug in when I walked. The tops in my older pairs are made of leather, and they softened and conformed after the first few days of wear, but these gold circles are solid and won't give at all. I'm really bummed to have to send these back, because they are gorgeous and super comfortable otherwise.

I really wanted to love these. They offer great support and felt quite comfortable right out of the box. They were just too clunky for me. I prefer something with a more narrow profile. The thick, dark sole was just not appealing to me. Also they seemed to run a bit big. A comfortable sandal, just not what I had in mind.

Foot bed is extremely comfortable! Disappointed the sandal straps are too large for my foot. I thought the medallions were silver but they are actually a nice copper color. Very stylish! Have to return them due to size too large.

I really wanted these to work because I love Vionic and had a pair very similar to these which I bought a few years ago - the ones with flowers where these silver things are. But, after wearing them around the house for an hour, I realized that they are loose. The straps do not hold your foot in place. I've noticed this with other Vionic sandals when there's a "t strap and a strap behind your ankle." You want to make it tighter, so you tighten the clasp, but it does nothing. There's still space between the foot bed and the bottom of your foot. Hope they get this figured out, as it's a great looking sandal and of course very comfortable.

I bought this sandal in white for summer. The toe piece was so long that the sandal would flop around on my foot - almost fell a few times. First disappointment with Vionic.

I found the toe post to be too short on this shoe. If you have thin feet this might not bother you but it the lowest medallion rubbed my foot. I found it not to have as good of an arch support at my Vionic Tide flip flops and they seemed narrower as well. Although I think they are very cute, I'm returning. Note to Vionic: This shoe would be cuter with a tan sole than a black one.

I do like the comfort of this shoe and since I have a wide foot, the fit is good. I do have to say they look a little more bulky than I would have liked and feel a little heavier than a normal sandal. I usually wear an 8 M and when I look at these they look a little on the big side. I probably could have gotten a 7 1/2 and it would have worked.

These are so pretty that I tried desperately to make them work! For some reason, and maybe it's just my feet (in my feets defense I really can't remember a problem like this before with a thong type sandal!), even with the ankle strap secure when I walked my toes overshot the footbed as if the thong part didn't exist! When I say overshot the footbed I mean toes touching turf! There was nothing I could do to fix this problem and I had no choice but to, regretfully, send these beauties back. There are enough positive reviews on this sandal, and Zappos excellent return policy, that I would not want to put anyone off from giving these a try. I loved them but they just didn't love me back!

I'm so bummed. I love this brand of shoe for my arch support but I bought this because it looked slightly dressy. They slip off are not comfortable and overall I am so sad I purchased them. Anyway I will try another type but hope quality is not going down.

The ankle strap around is so thin it doesn't hold your foot onto the shoe well. The grosgrain fabric between the toes is too uncomfortable. Vionic, I love the arch support of your shoes, but please make more sandals with the thin leather between the toes because it's less likely to rub/blister. I'm having to return 4 other pair of Vionic sandals because of this.

When I originally tried these sandals on, they were very supportive and comfortable. However, they are rather heavy and after walking around in them, they caused pain between my toes. I'm returning them.

I had tried this brand at the store and love the feel of the foot bed, but the piece between the toes on this particular shoe was painful when I tried them on. I will have to return.

These are very cute but the footbed is wide and they run large. I wear a size 7 and if there were a size 6½, that might have worked. And I say "might" because the footbed in the heel is very wide, so that still may have been too large. That is too bad because they are super cute and if proper fit, would have been very comfortable walking shoes.

I wanted to love and keep these Vionic sandals as they were comfortable and nice looking, BUT something was just too loose and caused my foot to turn and cause me to stumble. Maybe I need a narrow, but that is not available. I'll try another style or maybe a full size smaller in this one that I'm returning.

This shoe is very stylish and that is a hard quality to find when it comes to comfort shoes! But, there are a couple of things I don't care for. First off, the material that is used to cover the foot bed is somewhat slippery. And, like the previous reviewer mentioned, there is no toe post. It's just fabric/string. I'd like them more if the foot bed was covered with a grippier material and if there was a toe post. The more I walk in them, the better they feel, so I think I'll keep them. But I'm afraid to wear them for hours of walking when I vacation next month which is the reason I purchased them.

These are lovely shoes that are uncomfortable. I was so excited to pull them out of the box but the length of the toe piece is too short so that the metal medallion cuts into my toes. Very uncomfortable when walking. Also, the fabric between the toes isn't nearly as comfortable as the smooth leather piece used in other shoes. I have many Orthaheel sandals and this design is similar to a pair I bought in 2012 that are my go-to summer shoes. These are pretty and go great with my skin color but I'd never wear them because they don't feel good. I'm writing this review in hopes Orthaheel with take this feedback into consideration. The medallion easily could have gone further up towards the ankle. Please go back to the leather toe post.

I wanted so badly to love these shoes, and fully expected to love them after purchasing the Vionic Wave flip flops. These shoes seemed to have little, if any support in the footbed, and the toe post dug into my foot, causing it to bleed. So disappointed because these shoes are so cute. I ordered the 8W and they weren't as wide as expected, but passable.

I own over 30 pair of Vionic shoes since its been the exclusive brand I have worn for several years. (My feet are overly pronated so I always require correction such as this.) I LOVE this style since it does not touch my painful bunions. The shoe is cute in the neutral faux cork shade which works with every outfit. The shoe offers medium support (not a strong as the support provided by the Tide). This shoe was very comfortable and I called them perfect until the straps slightly detached (stretched) from the shoe. (The straps loosened with two different pair of the Lizbeth I own)! The straps are still in place but after 4-5 wears, they are so loose that I almost fell and twisted my ankle time after time. The shoe maker wasn't able to fix them since the straps were attached by glue. THIS SHOE IS NOT LONGER COMFORTABLE since my foot slides around due to stretched straps which no longer hold my foot to the shoe.

Good arch support and cushioning, but this shoe is built for people who pronate (walk on the inside of their foot) so it tilts to the outside slightly. My problem is the opposite - I walk on the outside of my feet so this feels like I am sliding to the outside. Also, the style with the coins looks a bit cheesie for the price. Finally, I got this one and Paden (more classy style)in the same size and one style is 1/2" bigger at the front than the other. Quality control in manufacturing?

The sandal has great arch support however the piece between the toes was painful. I got all cut up there and also behind my heel. Disappointed that a fairly expensive sandal was a bit of a waste.

I had high hopes for these based on the review. I found them to be really stiff. The silver trip on the black ones looks cheap (and probably is, feels like plastic). I also found the piece between my toes to be stiff and extremely uncomfortable.

I really wanted to like these sandals. I thought they were cute and the footbed was nice. But how can I explain it? The top of the sandal did not line up with the bottom for me. I could either have my foot properly positioned on the sole, or I could have the straps fit properly. It was not going to be both.

I ordinarily wear a size 9 in shoes and sandals. I felt like my feet were swimming in these, except where the frontmost disc bit into my big and second toes. A smaller size would probably just make that problem worse, so I decided to return these. It's a pity because the arch support was amazing, just not worth the irritation to my toes.

This design is PERFECT for those who not only over-pronate, but for women who suffer from bunions or even arthritis of the toes! I am 42 with awful bunions since my early 20s and even flip flops are painful since the "V' hits my big toe. I need a bunionectomy, but in the meantime, these sandals have helped tremendously! This shoe is supportive, comfy, and is honestly the ONLY shoe that does not touch my affected large toe. Furthermore, and more importantly, I over-pronate badly, and I need the support of Orthaheel/Vionic shoes, so this shoe overall is excellent. This shoe (as well as all Vionic shower) offers the proper foundation for the body (knees, hips, and back) those who need correction of over-pronation which some may have and not even realize. I used to wear prescription orthotics prior to Orthaheel/Vionic, but not anymore! I recommend these for anyone who over-pronates, and this shoe particularly for those with toe pain too!! The orthotic support is a tad less than other Orthaheel/Vionic shoes I own (I have tons, but never enough!) however the support is still there. If you receive this design and notice the strap that lies on top of your foot feels short, (which happened in all 4 of my pair of this design (Lizbeth and Jada) ) it will stretch beautifully after wearing them one time. I HIGHLY RECEOMMEND!
