I love these sandals, they are so pretty! I did find that the straps irritated my feet, as did other reviewers. The reason is they used a stiff, cheap leather to line the strap, instead of the soft, suede-like leather they use on the sole. Frankly, at this price they should not have taken the short cut.I took a rough nail file and gently wore the edge down a little and that fixed the problem. They do run wide, which is typical of the Orthaheel. I wear an 11 medium and they are loose but comfortable.
I also agree that the arch support is not like the old Orthaheel thongs. That's too bad, because I relied on them for years. I have been looking for another brand that has a better arch support, and the Spenco brand thongs are pretty good.

I have other vionic shoes that I absolutely love but not these. The strap is loose around my foot and the strap design is extremely uncomfortable because the decorative strap cover rubs the top of my foot causing scratches & blisters. Very disappointing.

Sadly sending these back, I had forgotten that I sent these back in 2015 because the thong caused blisters after walking just a short distance. Cute sandal and comfortable otherwise. I now remember that I had ordered them because I had 2 other pairs of Vionic sandals that I loved and never had a problem with those I'm surprised they haven't corrected the problem in 2 years.

These are really cute but the straps are too loose and of course this will only get worse with wear so I'm returning them. If I went down a full size (no half sizes) the foot bed would be too small. Otherwise seemed like a good sandal for walking.

This sandal is pretty but doesn't have as much support as the Tide II sandal. The interior of the sandal is also a suede like material which does not allow you to wash it easily like the Tide II . This is a nice decorative sandal but if you want something with more support go with the Tide II. If you are like my mom and need a wide sandal, go with the men's Tide II as the women's doesn't come in a wide width.

Cute but VERY high arch support. I found the shoe immediately uncomfortable. Heavy, no give at all and feels hard as a rock on the bottom of my feet. Also tight across the instep due to the high arch support. It has plastic under the strap which would be uncomfortable in the heat, too. I do have good arches (go barefoot a lot even at age 67) and this shoe was the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever tried. It looks soft and comfy in the photo, but it is not.

Wanted to love these. I own a Vionic slipper and dressier style of flip-flop. However, as other reviewers have noted, the straps dug into the top of my foot. It wasn't due to poor fit. I generally wear a size 9 in other brands and an 8 in Vionic and the length was fine. Just something really uncomfortable about the top strap. Maybe if you have a more narrow foot this won't be a problem but I had to send back.

The shoe is so cute but after wearing at work for 2 hours. I had to take them off...where straps touch skin on inside the leather is very "sharp." too bad it's not softer on the edges.

Gorgeous, comfortable shoes. I own 5 pairs of the vionics flip flops. Only problem with these is the tan material that touches your foot turns dark in just a couple of wears where your foot sits & makes these look old & dirty, fast. I wish I knew a way to get these looking new again because they are pretty & very comfortable.

Super cute. My podiatrist recommended this brand of flip flop so I tried them. The foot bed fit very nice, support in all the right places. Sadly these shoes do not come in half sizes. First time I sized up, I normally wear a 7.5. The size 8 was way too big. I exchanged them for a size down to a 7. The foot bed was perfect as I stated earlier but the straps were still over loose and also very rigid. I only wore them for 1 minute walking around in my kitchen and they were already rubbing a raw strip on my foot. I don't consider my feet abnormally thin but they aren't "meaty" either, I would call them lean. These shoes would be better suited for a thicker foot than mine if you can get past the rubbing of the strap.

These are really nice looking shoes and very much like the Vionic brand and its support but I had such trouble with these shoes; the metallic edging kept cutting into my foot creating not only a blister but bleeding and an actual abrasion. I tried putting on moleskin but it just cut right through it. Thanks to Zappos' great return policy I am able to send them back, thanks once again, Zappos.

These are beautiful sandals. However, the footbed is squishy and did not provide balanced support for the entire foot. The arch support is very pronounced and felt uncomfortable considering the rest of the footbed was spongy. I returned these sandals for my usual pair of supportive but plain Birkenstocks.

I have many pairs of Vionic flip flops. The only thing I wear during our long Phoenix summers. I wanted these to work, but after just a short time walking around in the house, the straps were rubbing quite a bit. I was also concerned about the suede footbed reacting with sweaty feet (think Phoenix summer). So these will be returned. Very comfortable and cute though!

Ouch! This is my first time purchasing a pair of Vionic's. The arch support was way too much for me (I've had a broken foot, which now has arthritis, and this was just too painful for me). Further, the top leather (maybe faux leather?) and thong were very rough...not soft at all. That was also painful. I can't imagine walking all day in these shoes. I'd imagine that the "leather" would give you blisters since walking around on the carpet caused chafing and redness. Decided to return these. Thank you Zappos for a great return policy for us Princess and the Pea types. ;)

I love these sandals for their arch support. Although,though I ordered a wide width the straps cut into my foot along the inside top strap on both sides. I have another style of vionic flip flop and it is fine, they have thinner straps. I'm disappointed because I can't return them, I've worn them.

I really wanted to like these sandals, but even though I ordered a wide width, the strap cut into the top of my foot, but gapped at the footbed. Also, the material that Vionic uses for the lining of the strap feels like plastic and has a tendency to stick to your foot. A softer material would make a big difference.

OUCH that hurt! I love the way these sandals look and am so sad they hurt immediately upon wearing them. Do yourself a favor and admire these from afar as they will produce blisters upon your feet. Fair warning.

I had to push myself to return several pairs of Floriana's last season (2015) because I like the style, the suede-like footbed covering and I love the orthotic footbed. But the straps were just too scratchy against my foot. I ordered some again this year, really hoping Vionic would get the message from all the reviews, but alas, no. Scratchy again. And the Vionic Eve II's seem to now have this problem as well. I have probably 20 pairs of Vionic Tide II's, as well as the (original) Eve and a few Bella II's, and would love to buy several pairs of these if Vionic would get the clue! The Vionic footbed works wonderfully for the shooting foot pain from my bunions. I always wear either a 7M or 7W in Vionic, and took a 7W in these.

I originally bought a pair of "Orthaheel" sandals last summer for the first time because I had extremely painful plantar fasciitis and I wasn't having success with any shoe or sneaker on my foot. I bought a pair of the original plain tide sandals. In April, I bought this pair in the rose color and a month or so later I purchased this pair. It's been 3 months and this particular model has not stood up as well in the quality of the sole and support of the shoe. The strap still looks nice and it's a very pretty sandal on. It is very flattering to feet. But I am so disappointed in the footbed. It no longer supports my foot. I feel as though my foot could easily get injured again. After wearing them, I have to ice my foot. For the money I put into the shoe and the expectation I had, I cannot recommend them if you are buying them for the specific reason of the support they give you to aid in plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately, I haven't found any other shoes that help. Not worth the money for what they say they are selling. Sadly, a big miss.

These fit well but they've done something weird with the strap. It's like they didn't finish the edges and they cut into your feet. Had them on for 2 minutes and was already hurting. These should be sent back to vionic so they can redo all the straps on this style. Very poor manufacturing.
