Great raincoat for six year old grandson. Biden's inflation hasn't hit this yet.

I was looking for a rain jacket that fits well and isn't oversized. As a male with a smaller build, it became clear that this wasn't going to happen. The solution was to buy from the "boys" department. Enter the Columbia "Boys Watertight Jacket" I'm 5'5" at 130lbs athletic build and ordered both the XL and L to see which one works better. The XL is likely the same size as a mens small. It was a little large (long sleeves and hem), but the shoulders fit well. If you plan on having a good amount of layers under this will be a better bet. I'm keeping the L because the sleeves and hem are perfect. Its a more tailored fit for sure. The only downside is the arm holes are a little tight and can ride up. It may limit mobility just a hair but still wears well. Just keep in mind that layering will be more difficult. Hope this review helps any other below average stature men out there.

May be my 11yo but we went with XL. He's not overly large for his size so I think runs a tad small.

My son has lived part of his life in these jackets (3 different sizes so far) given that we live in rainy Portland, OR. I've been extremely pleased with their quality in particular... they can take a lot of wear and tear over many months. Each size fit my son for at least 2 winters. They still hadn't fallen apart after that!

I love Columbia jackets and coats for my little. I thought XL was a 12/14, but it was bigger. Still love the rain jacket and its lining. One of the best for spring/summer/fall days.

I love Columbia products. I bought this a bit big, bit really realizing that it was 18/20, when I need a 12/16 but nonetheless it’s a great jacket as usual. The quality is always great.

I purchased this for my 9 year old son and it fits him perfectly. I like this style over the thinner style. The deep blue color is really nice as well! Highly recommend.

This is a super nice jacket! I love the color it's like a tomato/brick red and it has a zip and Velcro closure that ensure extra water protection. It a reflective strip on the back and fits just below the hips on my 7 year old, he's in a small. Once again Columbia has nailed it.

Perfect light rain jacket. Great as outer shell layer to combine with additional insulation if needed depending on the weather. We love the back details.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect fit for my 7 year old. The hood zips up so his face is snug and covered from the rain. Great quality
