Love this for summer, when synthetic fabrics tend to feel more sticky & sweaty. This fabric absorbs some moisture, and the fit is comfortably snug.

I bought this to go Backcountry skiing and find it to be very comfortable and not clammy like synthetics. It's very soft against the skin and I have had no itching. It's support is light to medium which is fine for this activity..

I really don't wear bras. Never have. Too little. But i do where camisoles when wearing clothes that are see through. However, now that I am 60 and the sagging is extreme I wanted to wear something to keep them up. I actually bought this same bra a few years ago, but I bought it too small and couldnt wear it. So I ordered a medium and it fits great. It feels so comfy and doesnt crop up like camisoles do. I just cleaned out all my pretty little lacy camisoles and will just get a few more of these.

I bought two of these before hiking the Camino Primitivo in Spain - best purchase of the trip! With other bras I get way too sweaty and then cold, but these bras I wore all day and the sweat wicked right out! Worth the money.

Very comfortable, even for long runs. Works great for A/B cup high impact. Love that this sports bra can be worn a couple times between washes, because it just doesn't stink like full synthetics.

I live and train in a sub -tropical humid climate. I am a long distance runner who runs at 5:00 a.m. When the dew points are 76-78 degrees. Dew points over 50 are considered oppressive! I have tried every running bra produced by man - or woman - and have found the Smart Wool bras the only ones that do not make me feel drenched with sweat. The moisture management and heat control help to make a 20 mile run in 100% humid conditions tolerable. This particular style bra is a little snug at the armpits which could be improved by a more ample cut in the pectoral muscle area.

I purchased this bra for running and riding. So far I love it. Even when sweating badly it feels better than other synthetic bras. It is stretchy and I'm a smaller cups size. I'd go smaller for more support. Busty girls might get less support.

I wear these as a supportive cropped camisole rather than as a sports bra, as they're not designed to fit my bust size with that level of support (32DDD/DDDD), but I'm offering this review in case others might find these similarly suitable. I frequently wear one of these, or the strappier version, over an underwire bra. This way I can wear my most supportive and comfortable bras or my sexiest bras and not worry about seam lines showing, or an awkward fit on days I'm in between bra sizes, etc. These keep everything locked down but not squished. To accomplish this, I wear a size M or sometimes a L. There's little to no support with the latter but the skim-over fit keeps everything looking smooth. I have a dozen 100% synthetic versions designed for this purpose but usually go for these Smartwool bras instead because of the no stink, body temperature regulating aspects of the wool and because these fit more attractively (smoother) in the back than the others.

Live in and love these. But I don't wear them as sports bras. I wear them as camisoles over my bras. They prevent seems showing through clothing, add a layer of support and smooth out back bulges when I have them. And, being wool, they're no stink, which is key for things that go under the arms and for travel when I might wear them many days in a row before washing. During the years I've worn these I've fluctuated between sizes 32DD and 34DDD. The size that fits snug enough in the ribcage for a sports bra doesn't have enough room in the bust, but sizes M & L do a great job of the above. In these sizes, they keep things smooth and supported without squishing.

Wool sports bra? You are crazy! But I like this bra a lot. Number one- no padding inserts. And it fits well, very comfortable. I don't run a lot and it's fine for my workouts. I would prefer a tighter bra for hard running. I did get a good sale price, but it seems most quality sports bras are running over $50 these days.

Love! I wear this hunting/hiking...merino wool is super soft, comfortable, and doesn't smell! On pack-in hunts, I wear this all day as well as all night...no problems. Plan on buying more! (It is not seamless, however...) I did size up (didn't need super support), and wanted it a bit loose/comfy for sleeping in...

Sizes may vary between colors, or maybe just between bras, so I had to try a few to get the right size, but this bra fits well and is pretty cute. Nice to have a pattern, especially when most workout tanks show more of the bra these days.

I love this bra! I am a 32A (bought the XS) and use sports bras for running and yoga. This bra works well for both activities. For whatever reason, it is difficult to find seamless bras like this. The double layer of fabric is substantial enough to be supportive but isn't too heavy. I don't know why so many companies think women want removable pads in their sports bras. I certainly do not. And it can be washed and dried (this is key)!! It is expensive, but sometimes you can score them on sale.

My favorite bra, I wear it all the time. Merino wool does not get stinky like other fabrics so you don't have to wash it every time. Unlike other SmartWool underwear products, this seems to be holding up just fine after 4 months of frequent use. I am a c-cup and I find it is supportive enough for every activity I do, which do not include super high-intensity, but I do jog.

Well, I do, too.
I *finally* figured out that I get really, really cold after running because of my old sports bra. You know, it's been raining or I've been sweating good and hard, and my bra is soaking wet. Even if I put on a clean, dry shirt, I'm still really cold because of that clammy, icky material clinging to my chest.
Enter the PhD Seamless Racerback Bra. It's the perfect solution. It's one piece (no hooks, adjustable straps, etc.) and no matter how wet it is, I don't have to do the sports bra-extraction-shimmy in my car, because even though it's wet, I'm NOT COLD. Merino wool is just that awesome.
Yes, they are a wee bit pricey, but they are *totally* worth it. A++ totally recommend!!!

I found that this product ran small and had to return the first one I oredered for a larger size. That said, it is wonderful to not feel as though I am wrapped in Saran Wrap when exercising. The materials are worth it.

I love that this bra is seamless it is so comfortable, I could sleep in it if I had to. I have worn this two days in a row to the gym without washing. I would never do that with a Traditional sports bra. The wool blend is dreamy comfortable, and doesn't stink after a workout! I will be buying more.

I wasn't sure if I would like a bra made out of wool but I liked it enough that I bought another one. It is great for running and it doesn't feel wet when I am done. It is so much easier to get off afterwards. Plus, it does not develop the odd stink that some of the newer synthetic materials do. I did not feel lie I had to rush to change to get out of wet stinky clothes. In other running bras I have gotten chilled while getting something to eat after a run and that did not happen with this one at all. This is the best wicking bra I have ever worn. I am very glad I tried wool.
