LOVE this shoe! I just ordered a second pair. I think they made a style similar to this a decade ago. It was discontinued so I am head over heels that I found its replacement. I love that it is lightweight and has great arch support. It is not for hard-core hiking but has a good grip for fast walking and light hiking through woods (with my dogs). Glad I found it! I am a true size 5 1/2 and it was perfect. Thank you Zappos, for continuing to carry my size shoe!

I LOVE this shoe! Great arch support, lightweight, perfect in every way. Chose my regular size (5 1/2) and fits like it was made just for me. I hope Zappos will get another batch soon so I can order another pair.

I have been struggling to find a light hiking shoe for years. I took these with me on a trip and after the first day of the same old pain in my old boots, put these on and hiked 40 miles over 3 days with glee. i apparently have issues with the ball of my foot being wide enough that with some mileage and swelling, i get pain on the bottom of the ball of my foot. not with these. room for the ball of my foot and toes, yay! i just bought a second of the exact same pair. they do not have a removable insert and not a ton of arch support, and probably no way to add it. if that is an issue, these might not be for you. but the Vibram sole is awesome and shaped to support your foot including some arch. very pliable, too - if you need stiff shoes with lots of support, these are not your thing. if you want something lightweight and comfy as heck, you might love them like i do!

These would be great shoes for hot summers where foot protection is needed but breath ability is desired. These shoes were comfortable, and true to size. I ended up returning them because I don't have a purpose for this breathable supportive summer shoe, but will keep it in mind if the need arises.

I am a dog walker and have found Merrills to have the best support and comfort. These had zero breakin time and are light weight.

Love these shoes! So comfortable and supportive, I feel balanced after wearing them and they don't need time to break in. Very grippy sole too.

These are the most comfortable light weight hiking shoes I've ever owned.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I had enough to room in this shoe. The thing I didn't like was there may be just a bit too much "give" in the upper part of the shoe. Something was bothering me on the extreme side of my foot, so I'm returning these. It's a nice weight and the teal color isn't in your face, which is good.

I tried on several pairs of shoes, but these made me feel like Cinderella; they fit just right. They were lightweight and immediately comfortable. If you're looking for something with a solid sole but without the weight of a hiker, these are a great way to go. As a bonus, they're really great looking!

I own these in purple fusia and gray.I wear them daily and I wish that they would make them in more colors. Favorite all terrain shoe ever,no question. Water proof and comfortable and light and cute as well!

Overall feels really nice. They are lightweight and super breathable! The color on the sea pine is true to the picture. I've always worn an 8 in Merrell and this shoe is no exception. The laces hold without double knotting. The have excellent tread and are pretty flexible. I cant think of anything else one would need to know about these Merrells. They are overall really great trail running shoes! I use them for hiking, walks/jogs around the park, as well as just around town. They are super cute, good job Merrell!

Have a pair of these and I really like them. Light weight ad flexible. When I want to hike in them I change out the insole for a little more support.

Nice shoe, but was too short in length for a 9.5
