Very well constructed and compact in fit and size make it a good choice. Easy to slip into the shoe given the stretchy heal section. Two issues: The stretchy back, while very comfortable, is a disadvantage when climbing in steep terrain - has a tendency to allow the foot to slip too far back in the shoe, and secondly, the insole is not as comfortable as I would expect - has an arch support but sometimes feels more like a "bump" than a comfortable support.

These are the most comfortable sandel I have owned in years. Have many pairs of Merrell's and am very pleased with these

Footbed could use more padding and support, but otherwise a good slip-on for warm weather. Used while in Florida and plan to use in on the NW Pacific coast.

Like other reviewers I appreciated that this was the most closed of the open sandal style athletic shoe. I have flat feet, do not need arch support but have much liked the sturdy and supportive footbed of other Merrells but this one is disappointingly slim. I had 3 pairs of Geomorphic Maze, a stretch model tragically discontinued..(Forever why?!) its footbed was superb, this one more minimal. Also, I found it not great barefoot. It's pretty good with a sock though so I may keep it as I am a big fan of the neoprene stretch and not many other choices.

These are comfortable with or without low-cut socks and the sole is very durable but flexible. They are easy on and off and the elastic "lacees" snug them up quickly and securely.

This product is very comfortable, however, the stitching has already started coming undone. I plan on taking this on an international trip to the rainforest and hope they do not deteriorate more. Have had them for a month or less.

My first impression was, "Wow! This shoe is lightweight!" It's less bulky than expected too. The insole is some type of firm (not hard) rubber that has little lines in it that lead to each outlet hole on the side. I assume so water can run down them and out the holes more efficiently. The heel part of the shoe upper is all neoprene and is supported by a very firm elastic band that feels solid, like they will not wear out over time. You can slip it on and off easily enough without having to adjust the laces. I measure a 9.5. It was way too big. The 8.5 was just slightly too small. The 9.0 was perfect.

Feels lighter than Keens . Great soft upper making it easy to slip on and reduces chaffing around top of my feet. Bottoms of my feet quickly start sweating with any exercising (bike riding which is why I bought them). I'm trying an absorbent inner sole. Don't know yet if that will work. Hope so as in every other way they're great

Fits right, and generally comfortable and supportive. I wore the shoes around the house (inside) for a few days to break them in. In the end, I returned them because the heel strap on the right shoe had a sharp area, probably the result of bad stitching, and that irritated my foot.

The length and width were good, but the heel loop (open back that encompasses the heel) rides too low on the heel so they feel loose when walking. If I physically move the loop up over the crest of my heel they feel great, but it will not stay up there!

The inner sole of this shoe has a tread-like surface which is very uncomfortable. I can't wear this shoe because with every step I'm reminded that this shoe is uncomfortable.

Everything about the show was great except the arch support. I have a high arch and there was no support unlike other Merrells I have tried. Sad since I loved the look of them. Returned.

These sandals fit me well--but the inside foot bed is really rough on my feet! It has a fairly bumpy surface, so after even a little walking it feels like sandpaper. Too bad, as I otherwise really liked them.

I just ordered these for a trip to the riviera maya. I researched a lot and nobody offers wide sizes in this type of shoe. I didn't read complaints about the width, so I thought the material must be flexible enough. After very light, casual wear and loosening them,as much as possible for only 4 hours, the sides of my feet are hurting because of the pressure. I'm disappointed because I don't want to sacrifice the quality and get another brand, but it appears that I have no choice.

I really like these shoes. They are comfortable and have many uses. Good for water/boating, light hiking and walking. We used as camp shoes after long days of backpacking, great to slip them on after clunking around in backpacking boots all day. However much I want to love them the build quality just doesn't seem reliable. The main issue I have had is the stitching on the neoprene unravels, which compromises the look at first and then will compromise the shoe itself as the stitching continues to unravel. I bought my first pair and the stitching was coming undone right out of the box. I promptly exchanged them for another pair thinking I got a lemon. But after two weeks the stitching on the newer pair started to come undone as well. This makes me think there is a broader quality issue with these shoes. For the high retail price I expect my gear and footwear to last more than a week. The poor stitching quality on this show is a real disappointment. 3 stars based on quality.

Stitching inside the shore is very irritating-blister causing. Nice fit though. Will have to wear socks for true comfort.

Though the shoe fits nice the stitching creates sharp lumps throughout the inside of the shoe. Very irritating. I think if I wore these for any length of time I would develop blisters. With socks they won't be so bad.

Shoe runs a half size shorter when compared to Merrell Portage or Drizzle shoe. Big toe hits end of this one, comparable size does not with both Portage and Drizzle. I Have a B width shoe and am flat footed, so lack of arch support with this sandal-like product does not bother me. Medium width is narrowest available and is too wide for my B width, but elastic band in back and elastic ties adequately hold foot in place for water boating sports but doubtful for extended walks/hikes. Shoe seems well constructed but not as sturdy as the old Merrell Portage which was not available from Zappos.

This is my third pair of Merrell shoes. They are not comfortable on the bottom of the feet! They have ridge lines cut into insole making them feel rough especially on the big toe area. I would have returned them but I wore them outside thinking that they would be ok with time. That was wrong! I had to go to Walgreens and buy their brand soft inserts. Such expensive leisure shoes should be comfortable to wear. I am highly disappointed. If you buy these do not wear them outside unless they feel good on you, otherwise you can return them.

The top and heel fit very comfortably, but for me the arch support was absent and my foot fell off to the inside with every step. If you have a low or minimal arch, it would probably be a wonderful fit.

I've just bought the Merrell All Out Blaze Sieve on 20th Oct. 2018. First use was just walk around camp area on concrete pavement which has some dirt on the surfaces. I slipped and nearly fell. Then I went light hiking and crossed some creeks. This time the shoes work quite okay. Second use was on 27th October. This time on uphill terrain and I walked with high awareness. The shoes are not suitable for this uphill terrain really. I slipped down once. My personal conclusion is that. I will use these shoes just for light hiking, flat and easy terrain, and creek crossing.

Disappointed in the quality. Frustrated by Multiple little defects. The nylon shoe lace loops would wear and snap. No work around for lacing shoes so just had to live with asymmetrical lacing. The stitching on both shoes frayed at the point where the leather pierce covering toe area is sewn onto the rest of the shoe. While I am active I have a desk job and live in a temperate climate. Only had these shoes for a couple years. Had another brand of hiking boots when I lived in the dessert and was hiking a lot that lasted over ten years. Only reason I replaced them was because the soles were almost worn off. maybe my expectations aren't realistic.
