I have problems finding a good, ventilated shoe I can use for shorter hiking trips and other activities. This shoe fits the bill. It works well for people like me who have wide forefeet. Also, it is an attractive shoe that garnered comments the first day I wore it.

Aero blaze Merrill's are the most comfortable and universal shoe! I use them for both work and the gym. Shoes are very stylish and comfortable to match any attire. The the colors wish the green was stil available but liking the new models and colors. Have 2 new pairs and both fit true to size. Great shoe for the money, you can't go wrong! Definitely a true review not a bot!

Very glad to have rediscovered Merrell with this purchase. Plug and play, no breaking in, great tread, just like the last pair I had years ago.

I use these shoes for wearing all day every day just because they are so comfortable. What more can I say? I love them.

This is the first "trail shoe" that I've tried. Sometimes my trusty MOABs aren't the best choice for some activities. The Blaze Aero fills that niche perfectly. They are lightweight, offer plenty of arch support, and keep my feet cool.

Great hiking shoe.

For me, the most important feature is correct anatomical design, which this shoe does excedingly well. I developed problems from pinched toe boxes, and the All Outs are part of the solution to healthier feet. These have a proper anatomical toe-box, a designed flex zone for the ball of the foot, heel cups and arch support. But unlike other orthopedic footwear, these are also AGILE, as they are only roomy where you need it but also have a more streamlined design, an effective lacing system and avoid being clunky. Unifly system integrates a very nice footbed; fantastic for ground feel in exchange for being able to fit custom orthotics. Vibram sole offers posititve grip on most surfaces. Mesh tops offer sandal like ventilation but also more protecition than open shoes. Almost as light as trail runners but with more rugged and durable soles. Tops are surprisingly durable for a light shoe. Good looking shoe too. All in all, this shoe does for me many things that MOABS can't touch...please, never stop making a version of this shoe, it's a foot saver for many of us!

Love the light weight mesh design. Perfect for hiking,wading or just walking in warm weather.

These are excellent for the long hikes on warmer days with good traction and ventilation.

I've worn my pair on an exploration of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and can't imagine doing the trip without them. The All Out Blaze Aero Sport have a secure glove-like fit that doesn't slip around when wet. Wear them just as you would a pair of sandals, e.g. no socks, and paddle along rugged terrain without worrying about cutting your feet or jamming your toes. I also used them on multiple paddling trips down the Los Angeles River with equal success. Footwear is essential when paddling on a river due to increased likelihood of coming in contact with rocks and other obstacles. The lightweight of the All Out Blaze Aero Sport water shoe does not inhibit your movement on a SUP and worked well in conjunction with the deck pad on my Hala Radito. Great shoes for an aquatic environment they'll go anywhere!

Bought for waterfall hiking in Jamaica and worked out perfectly. Great grip on some pretty tricky and slick rock scrambling. Was able to swim with shoes too. So comfortable, I ended up wearing even when no water activities were planned. The fabric is designed to let water rush out, so makes for a really breathable shoe in hot climates. Great product.

Comfort and support that allow me to stay on the go for hours. The adequately constructed and placed mesh prevents the accumulation of bothersome debris.

I got these mainly to wear in my kayak. They are comfortable, size-accurate (a bit wider than normal but acceptable), and they drain water very well. I will probably be getting a pair for my wife, as well.

Love the shoe! Fits comfortably, great for river and stream hikes. Dries fairly fast. Has great grip on wet rocks.

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He's usually a size 11 but the 10.5 fit best. He loves how he can wear them walking and hiking and can just walk right into the water. I'd say he's in love. Looks like I'll be buying a pair for myself soon!

This is my 3rd pair of these shoes. I love them. I had major problems with my feet once i started wearing merrells, my feet dont hurt anymore!!!

Like other similar merrill shoes, these are really comfortable and true to size.

For over 15 years this has been my favorite shoe. It is lightweight and instantly comfortable. The mesh venting keeps your foot cool and allows moisture to escape. I first got the shoe for mountain biking which allows me to cross streams or swim to cool off before continuing my ride. Living in the Northeast allows me to wear the shoe eight months out of the year daily.

Softer and squishier than the previous generation in the sole and midstep these can serve from creekbottoms to above the treeline as a quasi approach shoe, they are that pliable and stick that well, but with all the cushioning you would expect from a low hiker, another design from merrell that raises the bar for the competition.

Have had these for three weeks. They are extremely light and comfortable. The toe box is roomy and allows air in from mesh upper. In fact, I don't know if it was designed to do this but as you walk a "breeze " of air comes through the toe box and cools your foot. Very nice. I get a lot of pain from most shoes after wearing but these shoes really support my feet and I have had no aching in my feet after after a whole day of wear. In fact I am very very happy. Will be going hiking through Europe soon and wearing these for 2 weeks. We'll see how they hold up.

These Aero sports are DEFINITELY named accordingly. Tons of air breezing past my toes and cooling the entire foot. The soles are really really nice to. Very flexible and move with you. You can feel the ground really well, but they absorbs any and all shock of typical or atypical activity. Super grippy treads too. I live in the eastern part of PA near the AT and if you know anything about the AT, it's that the PA part of the trail is nothing but jagged rocks to walk on. Kept my feet so comfortable throughout all the terrain. No pains, strains, blisters, or bruises. Even the next day. I'll finish with this... At this point I literally have a pile of Merrell shoe in my closet because they simply refuse to wear out. I have never in my life owned so many shoes at one time just because I've had them for YEARS. Thank you Merrell, for making shoes that won't die in less than a year.
