This model of Asics has changed from the previous one! I ordered a D width which is usually perfect for my wide feet. As soon as I opened the box I could see that they were nowhere near as wide as the old model, and they were really narrow despite being marked as the same size and width as the old model.

I gave these shoes three stars because they run so much smaller than they are sized. I like the look but after two attempts to get the right fit I gave up! If you are looking for shoes with a wide toe box/wide width keep looking!

These shoes are very light, but I usually wear 9 WW and they were entirely too narrow. Unfortunately, I will be returning them.

Too narrow and too short. The marked EE is anything but! In my experience, if you get a longer shoe to get it wider, it throws off the placement of the arch of the shoe. It seems to me that many brands have narrowed the width on the ee shoes so that they are narrower than in past styles.

I have worn Asics for years and I have always worn a 9½ and these were way too small this go around. Where did my good shoes go? I miss my old trusty Asics.

I think these shoes are a little advanced for me. I am not a huge runner, my sneaker needs are for the gym and street walking (I try to do about 12,000 steps a day). So I think the charm of these shoes are lost on me. I thought that I was brave enough for the highlighter yellow color, but I am not. So it is not the shoes, it is me!

These are too small. I wear a 7½ in regular shoes and an 8 in running but these are too small. I am ordering an 8½.

I have worn Asics for many years now and this pair was the first pair that I found uncomfortable. I should have ordered half a size larger.

I bought these shoes as they came in extra extra wide because I was hoping that I could finally have cute workout shoes. They are indeed cute but not nearly wide enough to accommodate my neuromas when I work out. Guess I have to keep wearing ugly shoes to workout and just keep these for casual wear. And I did order a half size bigger based on others' reviews, but that didn't help. Oh well.

The shoes look nice and I have never had a problem with getting my correct size from Asics but these feel 1/2 size smaller and the heel cup feel shallow. Therefore I am returning them.

These shoes would have been a dream (I liked the gel in the forefoot as well as the heel) - they provide nice arch support and are very cushy. The only thing that bugged me enough to send them back was that the back of the heel came up too high on me. It just irritated me. I wanted so much to finally find my perfect pair of every day walking shoes since my old style was discontinued. I am probably pickier than most, but I wear tennis shoes more than any other shoe and I just could not get over the heel. If the fabric smushes down in the back when I point my toe, then I know that it is too high.

These run small. I had to go up a whole size up and when I did receive the correct size, they were causing blisters on my feet. I wear Asics often and this particular style was not satisfactory.

I originally wrote a 5* rating. That was before I actually wore the shoes. They are painfully uncomfortable in the heel area. There is some type of metal piece that rubs my heels. I have had many pair of Asics and have loved them. These, however, have something in them that is different & extremely painful.

These shoes are not up to the previous model GT 2000-2, I am very disappointed in the quality and the fit. they are too short Also the color is not a good look. What is happening to Asics?

I was a huge fan of the GT-2000 and was excited to order the new generation. Felt a little letdown. These didn't provide the same amount of stability that the previous generation did. Despite ordering these shoes in the same size I previously wore, these wore holes through the toes within four months. I've never had athletic shoes give up on me so easily.

My original order was 10.5 N, which were too short by a half size, so I ordered 11 B (no N in the 11). However, the right shoe of the 11 Bs was still too short, where the left shoe fit. After holding the up side by side, I could see they were different sizes although the labels in each shoe matched the size on the box. Getting really hard to figure out sizing when quality control is out of control. At this price, they should be accurately sized. Giving up on Asics.

Seriously awful shoes. They never "broke in" and still feel painful as hell when just walking in them. The so-called cushion isn't cushioning and supportive at all and after a couple months of wearing them the fabric at the corners near the laces is ripping. I bought these in a wide width and they still feel very narrow. I went from Brooks Adrenaline GTS 14 and this was a horrible waste of money.

Bought these for Jazzercise because of the extra gel cushioning in the forefoot. The shoe is very stiff and did not give me the toe ball heel flexibility I need. It did cup my heel very nicely and I could feel the extra bounce at heel strike. Since Ryka doesn't make the shoe I'm used to wearing I'm still searching for that shoe that provides a combination of cushioning and flexibility. I really like the speckled look of the main fabric of the shoe but wish the accent colors were less flashy and more stylish.

I was excited to get these - I was in need of new running shoes for a while. They are my first pair of Asics! I think I ordered a 1/2 size too big cause when I went for a run, both heels were rubbing against the shoe. So needless to say, I had to return them, but I'm getting another pair, just a half size smaller. They were very comfortable and am hoping my new pair works out better.

I'm a patient care tech and work 12 hour shifts, on my feet the whole time. I need something comfortable. I ordered this shoe in an 8D and it was entirely too short and narrow. I then ordered it in an 8.5 EE, doesn't seem much bigger than the first pair. Torn between ordering a bigger size or just going with a different brand altogether. I do love the gel cushiony feeling though. I gave lower ratings only because of the size issues.

Super disappointed in ASICS. I've had about 15 pairs of ASICS over the last many years (I run thru about 2-3 pair a year depending on my mileage). Up until this year, they have all been women's size 8.5 medium. Those 8.5 medium always fit perfectly! Now, I have to order a 9 medium. ASICS what are you doing changing your sizing? Really. Women who buy athletic shoes are not size conscious about their feet. This is crazy and a waste of time to order my regular size then have to wait for an exchange ... Grrrr. At least now I know to order a half size up from usual from now on. I will still wear them because I need a wide toe box and a narrow heel and they are the only running shoe that doesn't aggravate my hamstring injury. Zappos, however, love you! Just not so comfortable. They run narrow, despite buying a WW width. I feel they are somewhat squeezing the sides of my foot. The shoe did have good support though. Just not for me.

I normally wear a size 8-8.5, but since I will be using these for running, I ordered a size 9. I was surprised that these were still quite tight in the toe box. Definitely too small! Also, the salmon/pink color is much brighter than my computer monitor showed.

I have worn 8 1/2 in Asics for years, ordered these in both 8 1/2 and 9 and the 9s are still too small. They feel weird in different places on each foot so I didn't bother with a 9 1/2. Such a great color though - Beach Glass/Diva Pink/Mint.

I am trying to replace an old pair of Asics and it is turning out not to be easy. The fit has changed. I have worn a 9 for years but my big toe is pushing against the end of this shoe. A 9½, I am afraid, will be way too big overall for my smaller foot. Also the heel is wider than it used to be.
