Very comfortable and relaxed fitting shorts great for all activities I would highly recommend

These shorts are cut right for the big athletic type male int that they have a generous seat and large leg openings. My thighs are over 27" and I still have leg clearance. The shorts also have optional leg length which can make or break your look you are wanting to achieve.

I own several styles of Columbia shorts and these are the favorites. The added elastic section gives more mobility, comfortably. Packs well, too.

These shorts are just as described. Also, they wear well, are comfortable and look good.

Bought my husband these shorts a few years ago and now these are the only shorts he will wear. He loves the comfort and look as well as the price. They hold up very well over time.

True shorts that fall mid thigh to slightly below, unlike cargo shorts that fall at the knee or below. They run a bit small as I am usually a 2x to 3x guy, but have found the 4x are the best fit. Wish there were more color options. I wear these all spring, summer and fall for work and play. Side pocket intended to hold beverage is actually a great cell phone pocket. As long as Columbia makes these shorts I will buy them.

This is the only short that my husband will wear. They are well made and last several seasons.

I've washed, then worn, my new shorts for over a week now, and find them very comfortable. I hope to get several years' wear out of them.

Best fitting shorts, comfortable and durrable

Very rugged and dependable short with lots of room in the legs. The slight split on the side and short inseam makes it easy to move. I have worn this style for around 3 years and only ordered again because my current pairs have become stain from using them fishing and in my work shop. They are still usable, but he wife wanted me to order new for going out with her.

I bought these shorts years ago and they were completely falling apart. But they were the most comfortable shorts I ever had. Most shorts now are long but these are above the knees. My family kept after me to throw those shorts out and I was finally able to do so only after receiving my new ones. I am extremely happy with these shorts.

OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS I CAN COUNT ON COLUMBIA SHORTS BEING CONSTRUCTED OUT OF THE BEST MATERIAL, IT HOLD THE NEW LOOK COLOR AFTER MANY WASHINGS. VERY COMFORTABLE FIT. I LIKE THE ZIP BILLFOLD POCKET.

For a big guy with short legs this fits perfectly. The cut is right so that the crotch doesn't hang down to your knees.

First time to try these shorts. I will most certainly be wearing these anytime I want to wear shorts. The quality is good, the short hem length of 7 fit perfectly just above the knee. Will buy them again.

I don't fish but I do play golf and these shorts are great on the course whether you walk or ride in a golf car/cart. I bought my first pair at the Pacific Whale Foundation store on Maui a few years ago and now they are the only short I have for golf or everyday wear. They fit well and allow you to move around without binding.

After reading the comments for these shorts I bought a smaller size for my dad who usually is a 3XL. I got the 2xl and they were small even with the elastic. We both liked them but should have stayed true to his usual sizing.

The material has gotten lighter over the years. Needs more colors to pick from.

Good functional fishing shorts but they are not cut "big" and definitely small for the sizes shown. Big & Tall sizes should be full cut and when designed for outdoor use they need extra space for movement. Columbia does a great job with "fits true to size" on their fishing shirts and shoes but not on shorts and pants.

The material is a little lighter than expected, miss the Hommes, they were thicker material. Either way Columbia put out a good product.

In this world of cargo shorts it is so hard to find functional, nice shorts for someone wih shorter legs. They fit nicely, look nice and are not excessively long! It is easy to find tall items but hard to find items that are big independent from tall. Glad I found these!!

This is a good purchase. I am happy about the choice. The shorts fit perfect, but just a little bit shorter than my expectation. Unfortunately I did not have time to check the endurance, but the fabric seems to be sturdy.
