These fit beautifully at try-on: length and width. I was so ecstatic bc I've wanted these forever and they were on a great discount. After washing them however, they shrank a bit. They are still comfortable but are shorter and a little tighter than I prefer. Had I looked at the tag or known ahead of time of the shrinkage, I would've bought up going to the next size.

Cute pants! I will most likely wear them with the cuffs rolled up because I am short (5'3") but I prefer the 7/8 length in the summer. They do run small so I ordered a size up and was glad I did.

These are some of my favorite pants. The waistband on these is a little wider (which isn't bad), but it also has no stretch. The newer waistband obviously has interfacing, and it is not as comfortable/forgiving as the older version of these pants. Please take out the interfacing!

The pants fit a little snuggly, but not bad. Because one leg came rolled up to show how you can shorten them, there is a pretty severe wrinkle in the fabric that is hard to get out. I wish they hadn't sent it that way, but I'm sure they did it so the customer understands how to roll the pants up. It just made those hard to get out wrinkles because the fabric is kind of hard to iron and my wrinkle release spray didn't cut it. Overall a decent pant I'll wear to hike in.

These pants fit great. Only downside is the grey color is lighter than they appear online.

I returned the Dark Coral because the crotch folded in a not flattering way. They were very comfortable, and I have ordered a darker color. Hopefully it's not an issue.

Runs very small. I am a size 6, sometimes a size 4. I ordered a 6 and an 8. The larger size I would've used in the fall with leggings underneath. I am 5' 7" and 135 and fit. I couldn't even button the 6 OR the 8! I gave it 4 stars because of that. Otherwise, the material is soft, I love that there is a "long" option. Most pants like these end up being high waters on me and get returned.

This is my 3rd pair of these pants and I am really pleased with them for hiking. The only issue is inconsistency in sizing. I have multiple pairs of the same size and they do not fit the same.

I ordered these pant to wear when we go to Alaska next week. The material is very nice and I think it will shed water if we get some rainy days. The only down fall I have for this product is it runs a little bit small in the waistline . I plan to keep these pants and give them a try on our trip. Love the color.

Nice quality. Sizing is very small order 2 sizes up.

I love the way these fit, and I'm really grateful these come in different lengths because I have short legs. My one issue is that the pockets are not very big. I've put things in the front pockets only for them to fall out--they're not very deep at all.

I have worn these for several years and love the weight. I recently needed to restock my closet after losing weight. The Short were the perfect length. The quality has improved from my original purchases years ago. The pockets have better reinforcement. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is the zipper pocket on the side is useless. Maybe hold a credit card and drivers license but no way will it hold a cell phone. I've had my cell phone fall out of the back pocket and would like to keep my cell zippered. I'm 5'2" and 120 - the fit is good except the waist. I agree with all the other reviews that the waist is smaller than similar size competitor products. I've stocked up on competitor pants due to the cell phone zipper pocket but keep coming back to Columbia because of color choices and light weight. If they made the zipper pocket large enough to hold a cell phone, these would definitely be my go to pants.

After reading reviews that said you must size up, I ordered my usual 4 and backup 6. The 4 was true to size. The stretchy fabric is great with beautiful construction.I removed a star as the short is too long for me and requires alteration.

Great fabric and like that can tuck them but waist was too tight

Look great on when standing but pockets bulge out when sitting. This pair fit better than the same pair I ordered in the same size but a different color.

I love almost everything about the pants zip pocket, side pockets and roll up security. The one thing I didn't like was sizing. I have always taken size 6 with Columbia pants. Unfortunately 6 was much to small and I had to send them back.

Great fit if you order 1-2 sizes up. I normally wear size 2 and size 4 was an exact fit.

These pants fit me so well. I love how they look and feel. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 snap that hold up the pant legs were broken so I won't be rolling them up. I probably wouldn't have anyway

I was looking for activity pants that would travel internationally and be easy to wash, dry and wear. I really like the material and fit - although I had to order a size larger than I wear in Kuhl and Royal Robbins. The small pocket on the side is almost too small to carry anything. A cell phone won't fit. A little larger would be nice. I really like how the connecting snap at the bottom (to shorten the length) has been hidden. That touch makes it nicer to wear the pants in a bit more formal setting. All in all, they are keepers.

Too snug for a size 10. I have to return them. The fabric is wonderful, as is the styling.

The fabric is nice, fit was fine (not too tight), and I like this brand, but the front pockets pop out a little too much for me. Could just be where they sit on my hips, but the pockets make a lump that shows beneath most tops.

Light weight, great stretch and perfect length! But beware-its cameltoe central

I normally wear a 12 and sometimes a 14 tall. I ordered 14 tall and love them but they are too snug. I was thinking it might be winter gain but I just ordered some Old Navy 14 T pants and they are way too big. The length is perfect (I'm 5' 8") and they are very lightweight. I love that they convert to capris and love the pockets!!

I'm very happy with these pants excepts for one little thing that I think could be improved on. The zip side pocket on the leg could be longer and more deep on both sides, simple because that is where I like to carry my phone. Other than that I'm very happy with these. They are extremely soft and comfortable. Will be great during the summer and can be dressed up or down. I definitely recommend. I would definitely purchase again. I've noticed that a lot of clothing companies are making things that run on the smaller side. I normally wear a 12 , but followed the chart and has to get a 16 and they fit perfect. So I would say definitely follow the size chart.

I bought these after reading other reviews - so instead of buying my usual size 4, I bought a size 8. They fit great over the top of my thermals. If I wanted them as loose fitting as they are on the models, I would have to buy a size 10. They are really comfy and look great.
