I contacted Columbia about a pair of hiking pants I had bought and needed them replaced. They sent me these in replacement (picked out by me). I really like them. Very comfortable!

At work I am constantly moving around, bending, and squatting. I didn't have to adjust or pull these pants up once at work. The waist band was originally snug on me. It doesn't stretch at all. I had to order once size up but the legs are so stretchy they allow you to move.

I bought these for my girlfriend who is 6'0" and around 125 pounds, in 8 Long; black color. Usually 8 is her perfect size but these were a tad bit loose, so she must wear them with a black leather belt, which goes great with the pants and help them fit perfectly. She likes that the pants aren't too heavy material but warm enough she won't feel cold in them, and they are easy to wash.

I absolutely love these pants! They are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn! When wearing a nice top with them, they are perfect for business casual dress. The wash n wear works perfectly for someone (like me) who doesn't want to iron. When it's cold outside, I wear thin leggings underneath for added warmth. I have almost every color (the colors I like) I've been able to find. I wish I could find them in navy and dark brown. (Columbia-Hint. Hint.) I absolutely love them!

I'm an avid hiker and have tried different styles and brands in search of a comfortable, all-purpose hiking pants. I decided that what I had been wearing (which were not Columbia brand) were not working for me because the cut was ill fitting, and the legs were hard to roll up, and didn't stay up--my shoe would get caught in the rolled up pants and they'd get muddy! After doing my online research I found the Saturday Morning Trail pants which I think are the perfect hiking pants! The pants are well-made with light, breathable material. The sizing is spot on; and I like the straight legs that I can easily roll up to walk through muddy or wet spots on the trail. I have purchased a second pair already because I know this style will be my go-to pair of hiking pants for all my upcoming hikes. I think that the pants are attractively styled so you can wear them as casual wear, too. I purchased the short length which fit me very well; I am 5'5".

I work with athletics teams, therefore I am sometimes outdoors and need protection from the elements, or I am indoors and need to look more professional. These pants work great for both! They are very comfortable and the slight stretch allows for easy movement and functionality. They do not look like an outdoor rugged pant, but rather could pass for a casual Friday dress. I recently wore fleece leggings under them when I needed to be outside in the cold for hours and it looked and felt great. The option to turn them into capris will be used this summer I'm sure.

The fit size meter was pretty accurate. I use Prana but decided to use Columbia and it was worth it. I am normally a size 3-4 but Colombia products run a little tighter and I was glad I used the function because the size 6 fits well. I prefer lose pants and the waist area was not too big for me that a belt can't help with. They are flexible and thin for the hot weather. Overall. I enjoy these pants!

I bought a pair of these and fell in love. So I bought two more! They are extremely soft and comfortable ! I wear them to work and for everyday! They are great for warm weather. I love that they are breathable and that they can be made into capris with the snap! The colors go great with anything! My only complaint is each pair fits slightly different.

Excellent product, run small In the waist. In comparison to the other Columbia pants I have ordered I had to order a size up. The thighs fit well and I love the side zip pockets! I am 5'3" and the length of the short pants fit me perfectly.

I haven't worn these pant yet, I just received them and was surprised by how small they run. I always wear a size 8, I am 5'8" tall and weigh 138. I have no hips, but I could not even begin to snap these pants. I just reordered for a size 10, and really hope they are big enough.

I really like these pants - the quality shows in the fabric, fit, attention to detail. There is just enough stretch to move with you, and the feel of the material is soft and comfy, but still substantial for 3-season use (or winter if using wind pants or long underwear). I like the design of all the pockets. The fit is trim without being binding - nice to have hiking pants that look good, too, so you can wear them for other purposes. They sit just below the waist but still have plenty of coverage in the rear for bending. However, I have to send them back because they are just not quite long enough for me. I'm 5'7" and they needed to be about a full inch longer. I still recommend these pants for others for whom the length will not be an issue.

I'm so happy I found these pants. They are with out a doubt the most comfortable pants I have and are now "My go to pants". Thanks for a wonderful product. Faye H Altman

I have these pants in three colors. First, they fit perfectly and come in long. I struggle to casual pants that are long enough. I'm a little curvy but the active fit style works really well for my body (5'9, 155lbs). Second, they're really versatile - I can wear them for a game of golf on a cool day, convert to capris if it warms up, and I often wear them to work on casual days with a tunic or a sweater. Last, they're lightweight but good quality.

Ordered a second pair because they are so comfy. I usually wear a 12 but ordered the 14 because they run a tad small. I have hiked in hot weather with these and they are nice and cool, and have a nice stretch to them.

Currently hiking in Ireland. Have 3 pairs of this pant with me. Just rinse out at night and am ready to go. Nice enough to go out to dinner in. Love the fit.

I absolutely love these pants, they are the most comfortable pair of pants I own other than sweats! I love them so much I had to order a few more pair in different colors. They are really nice and can be worn for outdoor activities as well as a casual get together. I often get compliments on how nice they look. If you don't have a pair I highly recommend you try them, you will not be disappointed!

These are a nice comfortable fit. I'm typically a 0 or 2, 5'4", 105#, and bought the 2 reg. They are a bit long and not at all snug, but will work well for safari. Thinking maybe they'll be used to golf in cooler weather. Should be able to wear some tights under them if it is colder.

Whether you are working in the mountains of Guatemala, or hiking the switchbacks in Montana, these pants are an excellent choice. They keep you dry and cool, and they are super easy to wash. And they fit great too!

These pants are great for travel. I took three pair ( 2 grey / 1 khaki) on a recent 6 week trip to Greece and the UK. I wore them every day, they do not show dirt or sweat( and it was hot, hot, hot in London and Athens!) They dry fast, and pack light. You can't ask for anything more when traveling!

I am a biologist and these pants are great for the office and field. They are fitted without being too tight, and stretchy enough to be comfortable while hiking. Lightweight and breathable for hot days, and dry quickly. I am 5'9" and its awesome to find a pair of pants that come in long sizes. They are on the thinner side, so they wouldn't be great if walking through briars. Going to Alaska soon and these are definitely on my packing list.

I bought these in "British Tan" and "Tusk" for a trip to London. I alternated wearing them every other day. Unfortunately, London was experiencing a heat wave so I had to wash clothes with a drop of Woolite every night. On the bright side, the pants were dry and ready to wear after a day hanging in the bathroom. (After squeezing, not ringing, water out, give pants a shake and wrap a bath towel around them; then roll the towel and squeeze as you roll. Shake them out again before hanging in the bathroom.) The cuffs never sagged or looked sloppy, and the pants weren't wrinkled either. The material is light and never felt soggy when sweating. I didn't use the pocket on the leg, but I like its placement (vertical, next to side seam). It is less noticeable than the leg zipper on another Columbia style (forgot the name). These are my new favorite pants!

Really like these pants for the hot and muggy days of summer. They are very lightweight and keep me cool. I am 5’4” and love that they come in “short”. I cut off the roll up tabs and just roll then up once or twice just the width of the hem and they are a nice neat look. I bought the tan and liked them so much I bought a second pair to wear when the others are in the wash. I also bought the “cypress” color but have sent them back as they were a little dark for me and my needs....I am 71 and like to cover my knees, so I like these very much as I am always cool, even on those sticky summer humid days.
