These are the absolute best pants on the market. The weekend after I received them I took them out for a ten mile moderate hike. The morning was cold upon starting our uphill hike, turning much warmer in the afternoon. I couldn't have been happier with how comfortable I remained during the hike. These pants adjust to temperatures, while keeping a comfortable fit (no tugging at adjusting as with many others). My favorite aspect is that the material is soft and makes no scratchy, woosh woosh sounds when moving. The shorts easily detach and reattach. The description of sizes says a true to fit and it couldn't be more accurate. These pants fit perfectly everywhere as if made for me by a tailor. There's no weird pooching in the stomach or drop crotch. I can't wait for stores to open up so I try other styles!!!!

The fit and size were expected. I love the lightweight material and they easily convert from pants to shorts when I get too warm at the golf course. I loved them so much I bought 2 more in different colors.

I am 5'1" and have tried several different styles of hiking pants from many different stores, including girl's sizes. Finally, Columbia has a size 2 short that fits! Wore them hiking today and they were comfortable and roomy enough to use the pockets comfortably. I also liked that they didn't rise up too far on the waist. Love these very functional pants!

Size was a bite smaller than the same size with Columbia. I like the design, not easy to find pants that can be shorts too.

I'm losing weight and changing sizes. This is the second time I have purchased these pants. I can't wait to need the next size down!

I love these pants. I have one in black, the other blue. I have an early morning golf league so I wear this if there's a chill in the morning. When it warms up, I just zip the legs off and now I'm wearing shorts. They are also great for traveling.

Bottoms slip off over hiking boots so no need to remove boots making transition easier. Fit great (size 6 which is my regular size) Very happy with my purchase!

This is the 5th pair of these pants I've gotten. They are comfortable, durable, water resistant, and have UV protection. I bought 2 pairs for myself, 2 pair for my husband who loved mine, and this pair is for my mother who also loved mine. The fit is perfect because they sit slightly lower than the waist. The zip off leg feature is great for days that have varying temperatures or you need to cover up because of too much sun.

Exactly what I was looking for! Light weight, comfortable, runs a little small compared to my jeans of the same size but not enough to not love them,

Thanks to past reviews I ordered a larger size. They are really very nice. I wear a size 6 and weigh 120lb, but ordered a size 10, and they are perfect. I didn't want a skin tight pair 'nor' did I want an overly large leg...I like the feel of freedom of movement, and ease to adjust length as I travel. I am very pleased with them as well as their price, and color.

These pants are very comfortable and love the multi-purpose options esp when hiking. Definitely run small, order next size up, two if you prefer more roomy.

They are nice pants but I wish they had a stretchy waist. They were a little too small and I had to return it, otherwise they would have been perfect.

I am on the smaller side and have had a really difficult time finding hiking pants (in any brand) that are small enough. These pants have a slim fit that allow me to feel confident in how I look while also being very functional.

I've worn and ordered these pants for work and casual wear for over 20 years. The pants do fit slimmer in the thighs, and if you have larger thighs and rear, order a size up (I typically fit in a 6/7, and the 8 gives me some extra room so they're not fitting "legging style", and I can bend and sit comfortably). I still own an original pair I purchased from 15 years ago, and though the style has changed, the quality is decent and they're true to "wash & wear" without having to iron. Great travel pants, also!

This pants are incredible. They fit like a glove, and are very comfortable. The material repels water but it's breezy, so I don't get hot legs! I love to wear them as part of my uniform at work.

These pants are lightweight, well constructed and true to size. Since I am vertically challenged I may have them shortened about an inch. I am an active senior and these will work for golf, walking, hiking, or just everyday wear. I also like the color Truffle very much. It is like a mocha (milky brown), Very rich looking.

Great pants. Very versatile. Love the lightweight material. I usually wear size 12 in pants but I find that in Columbia pants a 14 fits better. With 12s the hip pockets pucker instead of laying flat. A size up and that's not a problem.

Love these pants. They are lightweight. A little slimmer fit than I expected but still comfortable. Not stretchy either.

I love the capris so purchases the pants of the sane line. They are great- I wish they zipped off below the knee but otherwise no issues. The water resistant feature is the best for rainy hikes.

This is my second pair already. I'm usually a size 4 for Ann Taylor and Banana Republic kind of brands, but got a size 8 for this and they are perfect. I love that they can be changed to shorts when you are too hot on hiking trails. Easy to wash and dry fast too.
