I am a 16 everywhere else, however the 16 here did not fit me... like didnt even go past my knees. This runs reaaaaaally small.

I like the color and style, but the fit was snug based on the cut and material. I recommend ordering a size up, which no one enjoys doing! I figured I’d disregard the comments of others saying to order up a size, but if you don’t want them to fit tight don’t be like me. I had to send mine back. (Insert sad face.)

I purchased the Women's Saturday Trail Stretch Pants before and loved them, so I thought I'd purchase the convertible version in the same size (10 L) to enjoy the shorts aspect in warmer months, however, the zipper part is SO tight around my thighs, they literally cut off my circulation when sitting and have no flexibility when kneeling. I had assumed they would fit the same as the original version, but maybe I needed to size up to make them fit properly.

Nice pants, however the fit was not right. The top area fit perfectly, but the legs around the zipper area were too tight and very uncomfortable. So disappointed, sorry, have to return them.

Much too narrow at the leg zipper. No room for active movement. Please change back to normal leg width.

I order two sizes more than I regularly wear. Pants fits well except for the zipper area above the knees. It is too tight and difficult to move

Originally oved the fit and color, but the zipper area where the lower half of the pant leg attaches/detaches doesn't stretch like the rest of the fabric does. Standing up, the pants fit me fine, but anytime I crouched or had my legs too far bent, the mid-leg zipper would ride up and constrict around my thighs pretty bad. Sitting down cross legged, climbing over things in the woods, light bouldering, etc aren't activities I could do in these pants. Over time, I imagine that flexing will break the zipper. The discomfort, obviously, is the bigger issue.

I ordered the 8,10,12 tall based on reviews. I am 5’11 and athletic build. The 10’s fit well at the waist but where the zippers convert to shorts were SO tight! All of the pairs were still 2” off the ground like high waters. I usually like Columbia brand but this is something that I will return all 3 pairs and know that even the tall sizing is too short for me.

I'm 5'6" and 135 lbs. I regularly wear a size 6 or 8 in pants depending on the brand. After reading the reviews, I went with my upper size and got an 8. These are absolutely unwearable for a hike. The thigh zipper is so tight around my thigh that you can literally see the indent around it just standing. It only gets worse when you bend your leg, they nearly cut off my circulation. There was also a bit of camel toe going on. One good thing I can say is the fabric quality seems very nice, but unfortunately these are going back. I'm not even sure it's worth it to order up a size because of just how slim these are cut. Really disappointed.

I was excited to get the pants but disappointed in the fit, so too small and too tight in zippered area for thigh.

I wanted these to work. But the zippers where you would remove the legs were too tight on my thighs. They felt uncomfortable standing in them I knew it would be too uncomfortable for hiking.

I had purchased a size reg 14 and reg 16 because of a review that said get a size up. They were still to small, could not even button both pair. I am normally between size 13 to 14 and like baggy clothes. There was no compromise with either size here.

I'm normally a 2 in most brands. Sometimes a 4, so I was surprised that the 4 was too small. I thought I'd like the look of the convertible, but next time I'm going with the non-convertible in a size 6.

In all other brands I wear a size 4 but read reviews and ordered a size 6. Overall they fit ok, a bit big in the waist and through hips but would be good for long technical climbs. They are a cute pant but they messed up with the leg zips. I have thin upper legs through the quads and the leg zips cut into my legs and are very uncomfortable. Since there is no give/stretch through the zippers it's even hard to bend my knees or bend over to touch my toes. Too bad, had to send them back.

I love the regular Saturday pants so thought I'd give the convertibles a try. These fit so tight on my thighs and then were loose below the knee. The zipper was cutting off circulation in my thigh. My thighs are on the large size compared to the rest of my body - I am a hiker, after all - but they are not large objectively. I suspect that these would be uncomfortable for anyone with thighs slightly large for her body.

I ordered 3 pair of these pants for a trip to Peru and was very disappointed in them. I have other Columbia pants that I love, but these pants don't fit the same, and I don't like the stretchy material. The zippers on the legs (where you can zip them off to make shorts) are extremely tight and uncomfortable. The pants fit in the waist, hips, & lower legs, but are way too tight from the zipper up the thighs. I wore them on my trip but was uncomfortable & embarrassed by how tight they were around the zippers. I feel like I wasted a lot of money because I will not wear them again. I only wore them on my trip because I didn't have time to return them & look for others.

listen to the reviews...these pants are great BUT your thigh (where the zipper is) will choke your thigh t death.. If it wasn't for that these pants are awesome!! But its a no go. its way too tight when you sit down. Standing up is fine but if you move or sit its over.

Pants fit well while standing. However, the zipper connection between short and lower leg is uncomfortable while sitting.....binds.

I bought at least three pairs of pants with this same kind of fabric and was very happy with it in the beginning. It was very comfortable and and fits well. After using it a few times for travelling and hiking, I started to notice that the fabric starts to pill and now it's not looking good. I am so disappointed with this purchase!

These are great convertible pants, the only ones I've ever enjoyed the feel and look of, but totally unwearable for active uses or even sitting dues to the extremely tight thigh zippers. I am small...under 5'2" and 115....there is no reason for these to be too tight. Please redesign these otherwise great pants!

Sizing is not appropriate. The zip off legs are a great idea, but the leg is too narrow and the zipper cuts into your thigh while moving. That is not a very comfortable fit.

When I first tried these pants on I felt they fit well. True to size. I set off on my adventure. It wasn't until I was actually using them that I realized the problem. The fabric the pants are made of stretches but the zippers don't. In fact, the zippers seem to be a bit smaller than the leg opening making it very tight when climbing uphill or over rocks. I am a size tall (that may be part of the issue) but my thighs are not large so this was somewhat of a surprise. I will not wear them again as they are too uncomfortable.

These are my size, but the zipper to make them into shorts is too tight at the upper leg. I couldn't wear them. I will return them.

I have a couple of saturday trail pants that fit GREAT, so I gave these a try. I was disappointed in that the zipper around the leg/knee/convertable area was just too tight. When I sat down the zipper around the leg was uncomfortable and tight, just not comfortable or flattering. I am 5'7", 135lbs so I am considered slender by my friends, but I think you have to have skinny legs for these to fit right.
