Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size and they were sold out on the size I needed. I hope Columbia comes out with these again, maybe a slightly darker khaki :) I will say that they looked great, and they were exactly what I had needed for hiking and fishing. I'm sure the quality was there too, as it is with all Columbia clothing.

Love these pants. Take them when I travel as well a hike. Easy to wash and quick drying. Comfortable, good fit, and durable.

Order a size up and you will love these pants. They are slimming yet roomy.

These pants look and fit great especially when compared to my old baggy hiking pants. So very comfortable. I have not worn them much yet so I don't know about durability. Fabric is very light weight but that is fine for me - I won't be wearing them in cold weather. My sister recommended them and absolutely loves hers.

I like the fit a lot. Very pleased that these accommodate my "slightly curvy" hips (waistband does not gap and they don't have a ridiculously low rise), and I'm ecstatic that they are available with a long inseam! I usually wear between a 10 and a 12, so based on reviews saying they ran very small I ordered both a 12 and a 14 to make sure I got the right size. The size 12 pair fits perfectly (and I don't do tight!) The zip across the thighs is a bit snug when I sit down. I considered whether that would bother me, but given that I plan to do more hiking than sitting, there are too many pluses with these pants for that to be an issue. I also prefer the longer shorts length; I feel it looks more proportional on my long legs.

I recently went on an overseas trip to Europe. My luggage did not arrive until 7 days into the trip-at our last port of call. Luckily, I wore these pants on the plane. These pants were great! I unzipped them and converted them to shorts immediately. They were extremely comfortable in the climate and I was able to wash them out and let them dry at night. I cannot say enough good things about these pants, the material, the fit, they are a wonderful value for the $. Thank you Columbia!

I love these pants. They are very comfortable and functional hiking pants. I am 5'2" 120lbs and the size 8 short fits perfect. I am usually a size 6. Go up one size for comfort.

I bought a pair of these while I was in Yosemite National Park two years ago. It was July and very hot. These are great pants for hiking in. We usually started out early in the morning on our hikes when it was relatively chilly. Then as the day wore on and the temperature increased, all I had to do was unzip the bottoms and I was wearing shorts!! The material is not too heavy, even if you want to keep your legs covered, like if you are walking in weeds or tall grasses. I purchased a second pair as I am headed out to the Pacific Northwest where it is going to be considerably cooler & felt I needed two pairs to sustain me for the week.

Fits well, looks good, very functional. Just what I needed for days in the field.

Very comfortable pants! Great color and the zip-off section is useful as well. Fashionable too - loosely fitted around my legs, straight through and landing at a good place above my shoes. Perfect for an extended hiking trip. They kept me cool and scratch-free - I wore them for 6 days straight in very variable weather (for sleeping in the tent inside a sleeping bag, hiking in 20C weather). However, I did get quite a few mosquito bites! These pants fit a bit tight so I would recommend buying your normal size and a size up to try. I imagine that the zip-off section could be a bit tight around the leg when sitting/squatting/climbing- it was okay for me because I have relatively skinny legs.

I am wearing these for the first time today and I absolutely love them! The fabric is so lightweight and comfy: they might be my go-to pants in the dog days of summer. I bought these for a hiking trip and some other travel but honestly I kind of want to wear them all the time now. I'm debating whether they are dressy enough for business-casual work wear. The waist isn't low cut, but it's not high-waist either: it's pretty much perfect. I hope they will not stretch too much on our hike as I'm hoping to wear them for multiple days. I actually like the roll tab cuffs with the snaps. They roll up very nicely but not too high. The leg cut fits easily over my hiking boots when they are unrolled to full length. I'm 5'3", 120lb and the 4 regulars fit loosely (the 2s were skin tight). If I weren't wearing them out hiking I might get the short length - that would work better with flats. The pockets are another huge benefit - I really love that there's a zipper pocket, in addition to the two front slit pockets and back pockets. Overall I'm extremely pleased with these pants. Might have to order another pair!

I love these pants -- have them in every color offered, because they wear and work so well. I've long been a fan of zip-off pants for traveling, as they allow you to bring pants and shorts in one. These Saturday Trail ones are the best I've found.

I work outdoors but I am often asked to escort important dignitaries through the woods. These pants are the best of both worlds. Great fit and so light and cool that I can be comfortable while looking great.

I have always wanted these pants! Get fit and feel to them. Easy to move around!!!

I love these pants. They are loose fitting on the leg, but tighter on the zipper area. Not like skin tight, but they are still very comfortable.

This is my second pair of Columbia's Saturday Trail II Convertible Pants. The first pair I purchased a year ago and they are in perfect condition! Very comfortable to wear as pants and shorts. I live in Florida where high temperatures can cause a person to sweat A LOT. These pants have breathable fabric. I never feel sweaty and gross when I wear them. I've highly recommended them to my family and friends.

I had ordered two different brands of convertible pants and found this one perfect for me. I returned the one that didn't fit as well and ordered a second pair of the Columbia brand. I like that when zipped off the shorts hit just above the knee, not too short.

Fit is good, function is great, but mostly like that they look nice too.

I had read complaints about the zipper being tight but I did not find this to be a problem I'm 5'2 and wear a size 12 petite. these fit perfectly. they washed well and very wrinkle resistant. I would buy them again

Soft, comfortable fabric

Very attractive and high quality. I didn't have a problem with the upper leg area being too tight where the shorts end and the legs are zipped on, like other reviewers mentioned. I have medium legs as far as bulk. These pants do fit a little small though so I listened to other reviewers and sized up. I like this type of pant to fit a little loose anyway. They do hug and accentuate your booty, but at the same time they make it look really attractive too. Bonus! I really doubted I'd ever wear these as shorts but I think I will now based on how attractive they are as shorts, since the leg opening is a little close fitting, not gaping and the length is really nice too. I'm 5'6" and 128 lbs. I ordered the Fossil color and the color is a bit lighter and a little less rich than pictured. It's close enough though and they have many redeeming qualities so I'm keeping them.

I bought 2 pairs of straight leg fit (size 4 - 125 lbs 5'7") and they were great for hiking. Fit was perfect and colors nice. The only remark I and others have noted is that the thigh zipper is a little snug when you sit down but not uncomfortable, just noticeable. I would still buy another pair but they could make the thigh a little looser fit.
