I live in NE Florida. I wear sandals quite a lot and in all weather. These don't last very long though. My wife says maybe it's because I let them get wet. But I thought they were supposed to be made for that. I get about three months out of them. I'm on my third pair in about a year. The store has been very accommodating about replacing them but I won't bother them with this last pair.

Toe strap loosened after walking one mile. I buy about 2 pairs of Reef sandals each year, but these need better quality control.

Reef Men's Fanning Sandal ordered in 2014 fit fine but Fanning II and now Rover ordered in 2016 are too tight in the arch area straps are too tight!

False advertising 'weather any surface: sand, water...' I've been a long time wearer of reef which i used to love. I purchased a pair or rovers for my three week holliday in turkey , mostly sand & a little water based walking only nothing unusual for a beach holiday. After two weeks my toe strap broke resulting in me having to purchase a new pair of flip flops (not REEFS) to see me through the hollidays , i feel its a shame when a company with a big name ends up useing inferior quality materials in order to improve proffits , disapointed long term reef lover. Very expensive and incredibly poor durability of 'water friendly nubuck'.
