Poor quality control on your Rover sandals. Where the straps are embedded into the sandal do not match up evenly from sandal to sandal. Having them made in a third world country gives you a third world product.

My straps pulled out from the base after 7 months. The "3 layers" delaminated first but I glued the flip-flops back together. As one other reviewer commented, I would expect better quality at the price one pays for Reefs. GREAT LOOK, GREAT SELECTION, GREAT WEB-SITE, SHODDY PRODUCT.

I took them in vacation to Hawaii. Spent all day on the beach. Sandals must have shrunk from being exposed to the sun. Honestly I was disappointed with my first pair of Reef sandals.

I've been buying reefs for almost 15 years this is the first time I had one pull out at the toe, my last pair. Lasted twice as long

Super comfortable. Wore it many days over a month and a half only to have the connection of the strap to the slipper break on me. A month and a half. Bad quality. Reported it to Reef, waiting for them to contact me back.

I used these during a trip to Cabo. I absolutely loved them, BUT the right shoe caused an abrasion to the top of my foot after only a couple of hours. I'm sure that it was just a faulty seam because the left shoe was perfect. I definitely noticed the difference in lost comfort as well as less support when I had to switch to a different brand of shoes.

Owened for about 1 month, stepped on my own sandal and the strap pulled right out of the base. No resistance, just pulled right out. For the price, these should be a lot more durable! On the plus side, while they were intact, they were very comfortable.

I really wanted to like these flip flops because the "squeeze me" sole is comfortable and they look good. However, I was caught in between sizes and the larger size -which usually fits me when it comes to Reef- had an oddly large front/toe area that is way too big and not comfortable for walking. Long story short I could not find a size that fits comfortably.

Growing up near the beach I wear flip flops from April to October. I only ever buy Reefs for the comfort and durability. This pair does not fit properly. One of the flip flops does not fit properly causing half of my heel hang off of the edge. I have been wearing them for the past two weeks hoping that it will correct it self being that they are new but that is not the case. Will be contacting Reef in the hopes of receiving a new or different pair.

I have owned two pairs of the Reef Rover and have experienced the same issue with both pair. After wearing for about two months the straps pull out from the base and make them unable to wear. Even though these are very comfortable it is hard to justify the cost of these flip flops with the questionable durability that has been seen.

I loved the original Slap 3 Reefs and have been looking for replacements since. Once they outsourced to China, I had to stop ordering size 6 and move to a size 7 - holding the two side by side, they were the same length and width. Now, two year later, the size 7 is much narrower, and again too small - held up to my previous pairs, unwearable. Very very disappointing.

Toe strap loosened after walking one mile. I buy about 2 pairs of Reef sandals each year, but these need better quality control.

Right sandal stretched out after a few hours of wearing it. Can't wear the pair anymore. Fighting with Reef for a right sandal replacement.

These are so danged narrow I couldn't even get half my foot in. Maybe if the strap were slightly less thick? Maybe if the strap had more give to provide wiggle room? I will sadly need to return these at once.

Very narrow shoe. Could barely squeeze my feet through the strapping over top of foot. Might be a great shoe for a skinny flat foot, but not for me.

This is supposed to replace the Slap 2, but is a huge disappointment. The materials and design are clearly inferior compared to the Slap 2. I would rather pay more for the Slap 2 then this model sandal which I found unwearable. I also tried other Reef sandals, but they all failed compared to the great Slap 2. I sincerely wish Reef would bring back their classic and most popular sandal, the Slap 2. Doesn't make sense why they discontinued it except that they prefer to market lower quality sandals at the same price as the Slap 2, but customers would rather pay a bit more for quality rather then suffer with an inferior product. I hope that Reed decides to do the right thing and return to quality at the very least for the benefit of their loyal customers. I wore the Slap 2 for many years, and removing it is a terrible disservice.
I'd also recommend:
Slap 2 (currently discontinued!)

These sandals are very narrow. The straps are in an awkward place and were cutting into my feet. There is also a strange bump in the foam that I assume is supposed to be arch support, but rather just feels uncomfortable. Too bad cause the styling is great. These gotta go back. Thank goodness Zappos has such great customer service.
