I exchanged them for the Tirra model. I’ve worn Tirra sandals for years and find them very comfortable. The Verras are not. The arch seems flatter, and the more minimal strapping, while more stylish than the Tirra, is not comfortable. Verra straps hit my foot in a bad spot and feel either too tight or too loose. They are probably waterproof, like the Tirra - seem to be made of the same material. They have the same grippy sole design.

Cute and comfortable

I bought these sandals for my 81 year old Mother and myself. I wanted a comfortable, secure sandal with arch support. While these sandals have good arch support, I wish the straps were wider - which would not only improve comfort, but stability. They are very utilitarian looking. My Mother finds them comfortable, but wishes the straps were wider too - she likes that they adjust to fit.

I got these to replace a very similar pair of Merrells that I've been wearing for the last several years. The strap on the Merrells finally broke and they aren't making the same style any more. These have more cushion than those and side-by-side are virtually the same, though they feel a little bulkier. Overall, I'm happy. These are comfortable and good for extended walking.

I love Teva sandals - they're waterproof, comfortable. I have foot problems and these seem to help. Good support; feet don't get as tired as other sandals. I think they run a little wide; I have a wide width in the front. I even wear them to work with dress pants in the summer! Quick change to shorts when I come home. Can walk around in them/shop, etc. Some of the colors are weird but I got the brown (nice). I also have the Teva Tirra in tan - more fabric in the front, also very comfortable (mb a little more)! I'd recommend both, get them in two different colors!

I've had other pairs of the Teva Verra and wanted a different color. But, the taupe/multicolor that I ordered had to go back. The fabric of the strap going across the toe was stiff and uncomfortable. This was not the case with my previous pairs. Perhaps it is just this particular shoe color. Also, the velcro closures were not finished as well close to the edges, and as a result, were not easy to slide for adjustment. I love Teva sandals (Teva Verra and Teva Tirra) but this pair just was not up to par.

I bought the North Atlantic color. It is comfortable and stylish. I have wide feet and even though though this is medium width, there's plenty of room. I have Teva before and I am glad it does not disappoint. I live in Southern California and I know I will live in these sandals.

I agree with another reviewer-the ridges in the sole-the design pinch under the ball of your foot when you walk-there's no way I could wear these. It's a shame because they fit perfectly.

I have owned several pairs of Tevas and never had any problem. But these hurt my feet! Immediately upon putting them on I could tell there would be a problem with blisters. The way the material lay across my foot was uncomfortable. I really like the look of these shoes, but sadly they are being returned.

I ordered the Teva Verra and the Teva Tirra and liked the Tirra better because of the fit. I think the more straps across the front of the foot made it more comfortable for me.

Ordered six different sandals to try. Overall liked this shoe much better than the Tirra. Fit was fairly true to previous Teva and more secure at the front. A bit more wiggle room around the toes than I prefer and not adjustable around the heel. I do not love the "all weather" insole and struggled with the feel of the design under my heel in the Tirra, but didn't feel it as much in the Verra. Far prefer the leather Tevas of old (Pretty rugged and Neota) to these but they would have sufficed if I had chosen them. Decided to keep my old Neota's in action and went with the slightly dressier Ysidro Universal this time.

I have worn them on short walks. They feel comfortable so far. I purchased a 6.5 I don't have very long toes, and tend to buy a half size smaller for heels, and between 6.5 and 7 for sneakers and casual shoes. The length at the front was perfect for me. If you have longer toes, then you might find you want a little more room in the front. I'm still trying to decide if the arch support is enough for me. One foot feels perfect, but the other feels a little off.

Love the footbed on these shoes and the adjustable strap over the toe box. I have narrow feet, and I felt like I could make these shoes fit. However, the strap that goes across the ankle hits at a strange spot for me and isn't comfortable across the top of my foot. I think I will be going with the Sirra version of Tevas over the Verra.

I always wear size 7, so that is what I ordered. The shoe size read 7/7 1/2 when they arrived and they were too long in the toe. Reordered one half size down (6 1/2) They read 6/6 1/2. They fit better tho I think they would have been more perfect if they were a plain 7! I am keeping them as they are so cute and comfortable. I love the style, but the sizing is weird!
