So it took me 4 tries to get the right fitting inov-8 shoes but it seems to be worth the hassle. I first tried a two different "precision" last shoes in two different sizes. Then the 240 in one size and finally a second size and bingo! It was like a night and day difference from all previous running/tennis shoes ive worn (mostly Nike). They are light and flexible, but I don't feel like the support is lacking. I cant speak to durability yet, but ill take slight life reduction for something that just feels right. My only complaints would be that since the toe box is so large (by design), that it makes it very hard to wear socks without your feet sliding forward slightly. Wear without socks and my shoes become sulfur pits fairly fast. Ill probably add something in the insole with a little more grip than the provided insole.

Don't let the commentary fool you - the "standard" are not wide. If you truly have a wide foot, you'll need to go up a size. I did, however, like the lightweight nature of the shoe, although be aware that there's not much support. I travel a lot, so I make a sacrifice in terms of comfort to get a shoe that packs easily.

At least at the upper end, sizing is way off. I wear an 11.5 to 12 in every other shoe. Reviews indicating sized slightly small so I ordered a 12.5. Too small, returned and ordered a 13. They are still too small, and held up to 3 different kinds of shoes I own that are 12s, the size 13s are at least a half inch shorter than any of them.

Completely unhappy with Zappos - these shoes are _clearly_ marked as medium width on the shoe, as well as in how they fit. If anything, they're narrow. These are not at any level a wide, unless you want to fudge because the toe box is a bit wider than an average medium shoe. If you actually have wide feet, then they're wide all the way, unless you have some weird sort of duck feet. Tried going up a half size, and still felt like I'd need to go to a Chinese foot binder to get my feet to fit into them.

I ordered a Wide width but Zappos sent a M or D width, but stated the toe box is wider than normal, so treat it as a wide. Not true. The toe box was not as wide as a normal shoe with W designation.

Almost feels like you're wearing a thick sock...very comfortable but has no support at all... You can definitely find a better sneaker for the money. A very nice sneaker but not worth the cost.

Unfortunately this shoe was not for me. I actually found them to fit slightly snug even though I ordered to my normal size. The shoe itself is comfortable, but does not offer arch support. Even after adding athletic inserts I didn't feel they would protect my arches long term. I am 6'0, 200lb's and fairly athletic. These shoes were just not made for me.

Way smaller than I expected, so small I could tell they were too small when I took one out of the box. I like the look, and other reviews indicated they run wide (I am hoping), so I will order 1.5 sizes over normal and see if I have better luck. So far, so bad.
